On
arrival
received
best
welcome
ever
by
the
bubbly
young
receptionist
Hibo.
Thereafter
things
went
downhill.
Such
a
nice
clean
beautiful
hotel
with
excellent
breakfast
menus
&
brilliant
gym
&
pool
facilities.
However,
my
digital
key
would
not
work
once
during
stay,
requiring
numerous
front
desk
visits
before
giving
up
altogether.
All
staff
were
lovely
&
polite
but
just
could
not
get
things
correct,
from
housekeeping
removing
towels
&
not
replacing
to
making
up
1
bed
in
twin
room
&
not
other.
Small
things
but
not
expected
at
hotel
of
this
class,
especially
after
pointing
out
&
it
keeps
recurring.
Also,
came
back
late
1
evening
to
find
ceiling
in
apartment
with
dripping
water,
which
quickly
became
a
down
pour
that
spread
requiring
us
to
pack
&
move
rooms
at
1am
to
a
room
that
still
required
cleaning
&
balcony
covered
in
dust
&
bedding
with
blood
splatter🤮.
This
required
another
room
change
at
8am
giving
us
just
4
hours
sleep!
Had
to
go
down
&
personally
check
apartment
was
satisfactory
with
Hibo
at
3am
to
move
at
8am.
Thereafter
things
improved
until
housekeeping
kept
forgetting
to
put
items
after
removal
but
this
was
minor.
On
final
day,
in
packed
breakfast
lounge,
staff
loudly
presented
my
wife
with
a
breakfast
bill
for
our
adult
kids
seated
separately,
even
though
our
breakfast
package
was
all
inclusive
throughout
our
stay!
Shocking.
Anyway
the
assistant
GM
had
offered
to
compensate
1
nights
stay
for
our
inconveniences.
To
cap
it
all,
on
checkout
the
receptionist
presented
me
with
invoice
shoing
bill
&
refund
but
then
an
error
showing
an
outstanding
balance.
Claimed
it
was
software
issue
so
requested
she
state
as
such
on
invoice
&
sign
it.
Suddenly,
the
problem
resolved
itself
&
was
given
correct
invoice.
However,
they
did
not
update
it
on
my
Hilton
Honors
account.
I
have
since
emailed
the
assistant
GM
to
rectify
without
response.
Not
holding
my
breath.
Such
a
shame.
Beautiful
hotel
with
top
class
facilities
in
great
location
but
lacking
in
customer
care,
excluding
the
1asset
in
Miss
Hibo,
who
was
exceptional.
Would
I
stay
again?
No.
I
would
go
stay
at
the
old
Hilton
in
Westbay
as
we
did
this
time.
Way
older
but
far
superior
in
service
levels.
Would
I
recommend?
Yes,
just
incase
we
got
unlucky
but
still
prefer
the
other
location.
