A nice hotel area with several restaurants. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. the hotel is clean and well maintained. the breakfast buffet is adequate and something for everyone. On one side of the hotel you can see the skyline of Doha. on the other side the highway and construction sites. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. The airport is about 12 minutes away by car. in the grounds there is a pool with many free seats / beach chairs and a clean private beach. from me full 5 stars.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were all extremely happy and helpful. The pool was incredible and we also had a swim at the beach where you can see the new National Museum of Qatar, although the temperature in the sea is significantly warmer! The breakfast each morning was sensational. So much choice and all of it great. We also sampled the afternoon snacks and evening dinner as part of the executive club and enjoyed the experience as well. Would recommend. The rooms are a little tired in their styling but the hotel has also been there for quite some time and for the price, was good value. Their gymnasium had good equipment and was nice and cool too. Very convenient to get to the airport or city, and a great place for a stopover in Qatar.

Went for a night dip, nice big and deep pool. Lots of lounge chairs too which can accommodate a lot! But the downside, we ordered a burger, it came after 30 minutes! Literally! Only the bottom bun was warm, the rest came normal temp. Could've been a nice experience though

The hotel is calm and beautiful, and its design is modern and distinguished.

This hotel is the Rixos now. Doha Marriott closed down which was at this location.

Loved my stay here, the room was large and well appointed. Dinner in the executive lounge is nice and you are offered two drinks per night. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The pool area is very comfortable and they offer hookah. Check-in was easy.

The Marriott really needs to update their images, as the ones that you see when you book, bear NO resemblance whatsoever to how the place looks today!! The pool area is very sad and tired looking. There are no white flowing curtains .... just tired and stained cushions 😩 The pool is clean, but the surrounds do not do the pool justice at all. I know there is a big problem with condensation also ..... but our window .... onto the roof of the kitchen/dining room area is SO dirty. We were told we were being given a room with a nice view 😩😩😩😩. The staff are lovely, but all the images you see when you book are very wrong. Please update and get real !!!!

Great 2 day break over Eid - fantastic pool area. Staff and service very good. Hotel is little dated, and we had to change room as aircon leaked. Staff were amazingly helpful. Steak restaurant was fantastic. Would recommend.

To start with the positive things the location was very good especially it is close to the airport. We booked a standard room and it was really big and roomy with even a seating sofa in it and plenty of cupboards.We were allowed to check out late at 2:00 pm with no extra charge. The free parking was a plus. On the negative side and as a five star hotel you expect excellent service not asking every now and then for things. For example the toiletries in the bathroom were just for one person although we booked for two. There were no bath robes as mentioned in the website, They brought them later. We wanted to use the swimming pool and since it was Friday it was very busy that we couldn't find a place to sit. Most of the people using the swimming pool were not even staying at the hotel but people coming just for the day. I think that the hotel should at least reserve few places for it's customers. Moreover the swimming pool was packed with young children who were allowed to swim and jump in the deep area making it impossible to enjoy a swim and the beach is rocky so couldn't even swim there. The breakfast buffet had good varieties but it was not tasty at all. The omelette we ordered lacked salt while the sausages were salty. Service was not up to a 5* standard. Did not enjoy my stay at all.

The desk attendant was extremely solicitous upon arrival, and gave us a room with a sea view. Everything in the room was in good shape, and we felt comfortable. On the other hand, some aspects of the rooms aren't up to Marriott standards, and the breakfast is outrageously priced.

Loved the stay. Great for summer staycation

Amazing place , staff are very friendly. We were offered for free late check out. Kids club is very joyful. Variety if swimming pools , food is very delicious.
