Boutique hotel with all the facilities that a boutique hotel has. The staff is really kind, they would do anything for the guests comfort. The hotel is located in the center, everything is walking distsnce around. The rooms are well furnished and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I had ever slept. There is a free pool for guests (not in this building, in the main one). Recommend this hotel company.

Review for Al matbakh restaurant! The view from the roof top restaurant is really good. The ambience is romantic with a touch of red. We choose jaipiri paneer fritters which seemed ok- a little bland and soya Keema- taste was good but quantity was of that of fine dining. The lotus veg biriyani was good. Overall I would say a 3.9 star.

Nice place. But very slow room service. I had to wait for the gulf car for 40 mins in order to take me back to my car……. Service should’ve been better.

I went to the salon in the hotel, it was the worst experience the place full of food smell, the lady did my nail was eating and they asked me to wait , and i did when she came her hand was smelling food and my hand too after she finished. The salon is not clean the staff is not professional. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Wonderful experience in the beautiful Souq Waqif area. Stunning design, friendly staff (Ali, Wayne, Harsan everyody!) and overall great hospitality.

I was serve by reception, Jennifer the awesome Indian lady and mohab the coffee maker man and Taufiq who drop us to the parking area they are all amazing and with professional Hospitality definitely I will back to stay with you.

I've been stayed other hotels too in Qatar but now I know where I have to stay anymore. Best location, wonderful place with good price. The staff were amazing and friendly, I felt like myself at home.The pool and SPA was great too. I all need to say, make sure you try this one. You'll be grateful

Beautiful and excellent location in Souq Waqif. Easy Drop off/on near the hotel then you have to take your car to the Souq Waqif underground parking. The rooms have a good soundproof and you don’t hear the noise from the Souq. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I did not stay in this hotel but I checked in from this hotel lobby. I stayed in one of Trivoli hotel, Mirqab Boutique Hotel. The receptionists are very helpful and kind. The services are excellent. I took buggy from this hotel to Mirqab Boutique Hotel.

Great hotel Next to the souq for great shopping

We enjoyed an excellent stay and the most wonderful tour in the city's Souq Waqif offered by the hotel!!!

My husband had planned my surprise birthday in this place and he was astonished by the way the hotel had arranged the evening for us. We were greeted warmly by Mr. Bibin the supervisor of the hotel who was also involved in plotting the good plans with my husband. The food was delicious and also of great value to the price with the best quality. Mr. Bibin also arranged the birthday cake beautifully and did not charge a penny for it and not to forget the live orchestra arranged by him to play my birthday song dotting right on time. Would revisit the hotel soon. Highly recommended. Do give a try.

Should be the standard for 5 star hotel. Great location. amazing guest and service provided was very prompt. Out of all the 5 star hotel I stayed in this area (4, included the famous place known for its height) this place is by far the best. I would highly recommend people to stay here, especially during the busy nights of the souq, it will be an unforgettable memory (Thursday, Friday or Saturday)

Wonderful location, impressive room, and attentive staff.

This hotel was branded as a 5 star though my experience was nothing close to 5 closer to 3. The staff were wonderful the location was great, the maintaince and facilties were simply a let down. If you are after 5 star this isn't the place to come. If your after location it's sitting in a great spot for night life.

Amazing staff (especially the lady at the reception), nice rooms, free services, like swimming pool, sightseeing tour, drinking water, etc. We had a 13 hour long transfer with Qatar Airways, which qualified us for the free accommodations. We have chosen this hotel because we wanted to experience something local, not the same look and feel international chains, like Marriott, Hilton, etc. And we were not disappointed at all. Both rooms were unique, traditional Arabic style. Traditional coffee was offered during check in, sightseeing tour was organized to the souq (old city center around the market), including falcons, falcon hospital, horses, camels, spice market, etc. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here.

When checking in at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel, I was redirected to Armilah Hotel that is probably the most central in Souq Waqif. As I was told, it's an old Government building. My room for 1 person was on 1st floor (101) and nice views towards the square. Service was excellent and location superb! Quality of the room could be better for 5* hotel. Other than that had a good sleep and good stay.

Awesome place and comfort, nice staff here and when you need helps they'll help you asap... good service and kind peoples But be careful with people out there They are so rude' i had bad experience from arab women (not all) !!!
