I recently visited Banana Island and had an amazing time there. The island's natural beauty left you in awe, and you loved exploring the lush greenery and pristine beaches. You spent your days lounging on the sand, soaking up the sun, and swimming in the crystal-clear water. You also tried some of the delicious local cuisine and enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that you'll always remember.

I went with my family and we absolutely enjoyed it. Everybody was extremely welcoming and very friendly starting from our departure in the port to arrival and finally back to the port. Everyone was very helpful with our luggage and baby stroller and all. We booked a private pool villa with sea view. It had two rooms each with spacious private bathrooms, small living room, small dining area and a small kitchen. The place was wonderful, spacious and most importantly clean. The restaurants were amazing too we tried three of them. Each restaurant had an absolutely amazing view and food. We also tried their room service food which was great and most importantly fast. Would definitely recommend it for a quick getaway.

This resort is very lovely and I enjoy my stay here. It was during Ramadan so could only experience a small amount of the restaurants. However our food was good. The portions sizes are enormous though so bare that in mind. I found the service impeccable could fault it. Will visit again.

Came here for celebrating our 1st Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed at all! Perfect Room Setup, and all the services. Rooms were amazing, the staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times, and I would like to give a shout-out to Ms Maria in particular for the professionalism and human touch she gave while handling us ensuring our stay was smooth and very memorable. The Breakfast Buffet was pretty nice as well and overall the Island in itself is amazing! Q-Lounge Restaurant also was pretty good 😊 I would like to come back soon to stay for a longer period of time! :)

Nice place with a very friendly welcoming staff. Highly recommend visiting the resort if you want to spend some quality relaxing time. The resort is extremely nice but I think some renovations are required to have a most enjoyable stay. Just want to say BIG thanks to the team who is in charge of organising the breakfast. I enjoyed the variety of the delicious food there and I had an overall good experience. The place is spotless and clean. So thank you very much for your effort. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and kind, they offer a top quality assistance.

Very friendly and welcoming staff throughout who were very helpful during our day visit. The staff were extremely helpful and on hand should we require anything. Good value. Luxury beach, peaceful, quiet and family friendly. Good mix of pool and beach. Variety of restaurants available to cater for a wide range of cuisines. Reasonably priced. It's such an amazing place to visit. They're very friendly and will always make sure you're enjoying your stay on the island. I definitely recommend giving it a try. The pool and the beach are amazing, and the food and service are excellent! you have an amazing view wherever you go, especially at night where you can see all the lights. And shout out to Sarah with her amazing service on the boat, too! (Don't forget to take some photos for memories. You won't regret it) ♡

Visited in May 2022 for 5 nights. The rooms were amazing. Very clean with great amenities. Staff were brilliant and so accommodating. The best service I have ever received. It was my birthday and they really did go above and beyond. Food was lovely at most of the restaurants. Breakfast was vast and if you asked for anything they would happily get it for you. Had massages at the spa too which was lovely and so peaceful. We had the half board package which was quite flexible. I think the only improvement I would suggest is entertainment. In the evenings there isn’t really much to do, some sort of live entertainment would be really nice. Other than that, I loved my experience here, it is definitely worth a visit.

It’s been our second visit to Banana Island, highly recommended. The staff were amazing, there was plenty of water sports activities. The bowling and cinema experience was great. We will surely visit again. Awesome sunset and sunrise, just divine to watch.

It's the Maldives of Qatar, really really wonderful. Just a day on the island 🏝️ and you feel you are refreshed and pampered. Such a great place for a romantic escapade. Everything it's just 5 stars all over the island and it makes you feel really special. I can't wait for the next visit. :)

Celebrated our wedding anniversary in this beautiful island. And my husband and I were very satisfied with everything that this island offers. The room is comfortable and big. We love the balcony. And the staffs are all nice. They always greet us with a smile. The breakfast is also amazing.

What a beautiful serene island. From getting off the boat the staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The suite was immaculate. QLounge and pool is amazing. Banana Island is a very beautiful place service is excellent until you go to the Indian restaurant just be ready to wait an hour and a half just to get appetizers out. My overall rating would be a five if I didn't have to wait so long for some food. This resort is very nice. Breakfast was alright, nothing special. Overal I would definitely come here again, hopefully to come back to better service at the restaurant.

Staff are helpful and rooms are great. Beach is very nice. Spa is the best. However, restaurants are very expensive and considering we went on weekends there is nothing much to do in the island. But, still it was a pleasant stay.

The service was great, and Ms. Sarah entertained us when we were boarding the boat. She was nice and polite. Also Ms. Sanita who helped us checked in was so nice and respectful. We would love to come back for sure. Great place and great people.

I cannot count anymore how many times I went back to Banana Island and each trip tops the previous one. The resort is a sweet escape from the hustle of the city and it’s nice to be one with nature once in a while. The impeccable service of the staff makes every trip even more memorable. They have numerous dining outlets as well, but my favorite will have to be Q Lounge. Not only it has amazing food but it’s also close to the beach and pool area. The sunset there is breathtaking. Will definitely go back again.

Had a great experience with family to banana island resort Doha by Anantara. The room experience, restaurant and spa treatment we received was a great experience. I would be delighted to mention the staff Mounia who assisted us with checking out and getting into the boat. Overall experience was excellent & I would definitely recommend everyone who is looking for a weekend relaxation destination far from Doha. My husband and I visited Banana Island on Monday (11 September 2023). Like everything else in Qatar, the standard was exceptional, the customer service was outstanding and the food was high quality. As part of our day pass, we visited Anantara Spa for a couples’ massage, which was a relaxing experience supported by professional staff. The session is tailored to your areas of pain and discomfort, ensuring you achieve the most from the massage. For information, processes are in place to support people seeking additional privacy, such as separate entrances to the therapy areas for men and women. I would highly recommend this experience to other visitors to Banana Island. For lunch, we visited Ted’s, an American-style diner. The food was very good, the portions were large and it represented good value for money. The staff attending to us, Madhu and Hind, were fantastic and provided a quality service.

My family and I had an amazing stay here. The service is great and all the staff truly take care of you. There are too many ppl to mention but they were all great. The facilities were really good too! Thank you!

The villa rooms were just amazing. We had a butler service which I was not expecting. The pool with our villa was nice and relaxing. This is my third time to the island. A good place for refreshing your mind from all the work stress

My daughter and I have had the best time on the beautiful Banana Island. There is nothing negative to say about this resort. The staff, food, accommodation, cleanliness and service far exceeded all expectations. 10/10 in all aspects. I will definitely return.

We celebrated our anniversary here. And I can say that the place exceeds our expectation. Though 1 night stay is not enough to explore all the place, we did enjoy staying especially our son. We would like to commend also Ms. Maria for the warmest welcome and a very good service she provided us. We’ll definitely be back there!

Our stay at the resort was amazing. It was so peaceful and quiet. We stayed in a villa, which is really well maintained. Food at Q lounge was delicious. Kids have water park where they can immerse themselves. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who likes to take a break from their hectic life.

We enjoyed the resort a lot, a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I gave 4 starts to the room because of the bed; it was not comfortable enough and the sofa needs to be cleaned; otherwise the suite was spacious with lot of natural light, also we loved the private beach with it’s view on the living and bed rooms. It lacks a grocery store, so you have to bring snacks for the kids, because restaurants are limited and pricey! Breakfast restaurant has lots of variety, but needs to improve their service in serving and cleaning the tables in more efficient way. Overall we enjoyed our stay taking advantage of most of the entertainment facilities provided, and can’t wait to come back again.

I'm staying at this resort now and can't believe how incredible it is. The rooms, staff and levels of service are world class. It compares to some of the best experiences I've had in places like the Datai and other top Asian hotels in the far east. There aren't many tourists here so you feel like you are on your own private island with 5 star facilities. It's only 5.5hours from London and the beaches are stunning. Room is huge and room service excellent. I've had a private tour by Mr manganda and he was so so friendly. Such a nice man and extremely courteous and professional making time to accommodate my requests. I will definitely be back again in future and make this a regular annual fixture to help recharge. I think this is a destination worth considering if you are visiting places like Dubai and want a few days of private relaxation within a relatively short journey.

Its really worth for what you pay... Rooms are spacious, Great ambiance over all. Very big balcony and night view of airport is amazing and flights taking off can b enjoyed from balcony with a cup of Tea😍Kids can enjoy to the max. Beach and Pool is well maintained. Food quality is also good. Variety of items in breakfast with a bunch of staffs ready to serve. Dinner we tried TEDs 1 KG Burger 🤪They have taken care to maintain luxury in each and every bit of the Hotel and decors. Very friendly staff, have got great photo shoot spots especially Sunrise. Anywhere u go , buggy is all around on just a phone call. Over all 9 out of 10.

All of the staffs, especially Ms. Sarah, from banana island are welcoming and friendly. This island offers great ambiance and a fun experience. Their Winter Brunch is also highly recommended. The foods are scrumptious and worth the experience!

Nice experience we had. I would say that I had the best service when I was in the kid area, these ladies who worked there were absolutely fantastic. They gave full time to the children and nothing was missing. Special thanks to Faith, Ovini and Nadil. These ladies made my day easier and gave me their undivided attention. The place is awesome, the veiw and service are also great; it was an exceptional trip. All the staff was kind and helpful, especially Sarah. She was so sweet and kept smiling, which made the visitors feel so comfortable. Only one note: maybe you should have focused more on the activity because the place was so quiet for a full day. We are so happy with the experience. Everything was perfect and we had a lot of fun. It’s amazing for kids which parents appreciate a lot. We loved the beach, the restaurants, and most of all, the staff. Everyone was amazing and kind. This was our first time in Doha and we weren’t sure where to stay but we would stay here for sure. The only thing is that is you come to visit the pearl, the musk, the museum, the mall, etc, takes time and effort to use the ferry every time because you have to schedule. Anyway we did pretty well.

The place was amazing! The staff were so greeting and helpful! The safety is maximum! The food at Q lounge was very tasty and diversified! At the reception Lisel was so helpful and cheering! Will definitely comeback soon!

It's a wonderful time, splendid service, room is very big, food delicious especially the breakfast and the last boat service. lalyn is the name of staff I remember, she is so nice and her hospitality is so professional with smiling face. Over all it's a great trip.

The day pass experience was good. All of the staff in the resort are approachable. But one thing that disappoints me, the seafood restaurant had a poor service but staff are nice. The food was serve more than an hour. They would attend our request but took time to provide it. But over all, it was a pleasant stay. Looking forward to check in, inshaallah.

Very good place to stay and unwind. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The staff from the time we rode the boat and all the staff in the island, we felt really taken cared of. Special thanks to the receptionist who accommodated us when we checked in, Ms. Maria and the one who helped us book our boat transfer going back to Doha (unfortunately was not able to get her name) and Ms Sarah for being extra nice. The food were also great and the staff at the restaurants were so so nice!

It is truly a picturesque place to stay. However it is extremely pricey, so be prepared. Half board might be a good option! Definitely think the boat and the rooms need a little modernising as they seem to have aged over the past 10 years. The staff however were extremely helpful and friendly and accommodating! Cannot fault the service at all! Even managed to change our room for us when there was an issue from the travel agent! Great staff and service, 10/10!

We are staying at the Banana Island at the moment and it is absolutely amazing. Staff are very friendly and always eager to help. The location is perfect and a shout out to Shahed at the bowling centre who has been amazing with his service and very accommodating. Definitely check it out.

Visited on a day pass. Boat transfer was good, nice spacious seats. Day pass partially redeemable towards food and actives. Nice pool and beach area but could be more luxurious. Friendly staff. Buggys for transport around the resort however can take time.

Our stay was incredible, filled with amazing memories and beautiful moments. There's just one tiny thing I wanted to share - we found that the prices at the restaurant were quite high, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to stay for a longer duration. But please know that it doesn't take away from all the love and happiness we experienced during our time there. Can't wait to create more unforgettable memories with you soon.

Super services and hospitality on point. Answered all questions. Would love to return to this spot I would love to visit this place one more time with more great services. We had amazing spa time there was a great walk at the beach. I really love the ambience and we went for bowling with the kids. We got a chance to see the sunrise and the sunset, it was a great time and we would love to visit one more time. Hopefully this time when we come will get a bigger family and it’ll be a good time. We stayed for 1 night only for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and assisted us in every need we had. We tried “Dining by Design” which is a romantic dinner on the beach. It’s pricy but worth it! It made my birthday celebration amazing. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time so we have more time to explore all the other interesting amenities and activities available on the island.

It was a fantastic one day stay with my family. We tried many different things. Food was amazing, the staff is really friendly and helpful. Great to experience this at least once. Just felt a few of the activities were over priced. Hence the 4 star rating.

We went there as a family of 11 people for the friday brunch. The food is superb. Lots of live cooking counters. The experience was amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lisel from the boat was very friendly and cheerful. You must try it once with your family and friends. Its not just a brunch its a fun experience with the boat trip to the island.

Kids enjoys a lot starting from the terminal, ferry boat transfer to banana island, beach, water park. Excellent resort. Highly recommended. Friendly staff.

Amazing experience from the check-in to check out, Had nice welcoming from the drums players, I stayed at villa 5009 and 2004 , both were beautiful and fit our needs , safety of course comes first , loved their concern and details they provide once we got to the villa , flexible check in and check out, thanks to everyone who supported my mom as she is a senior citizen, everyone made it easy and flexible. Pleasant sweet employees such as Sara Jane and everyone work at the speed boat , golf drivers Ali & Arman , sadly i did not get the names of the employees at the Q Q Lounge & Restaurant, loved the food SO DELICIOUS , I Tried also Ted and enjoyed my dinner there. Sorry I didn’t mentioned everyone name and couldn’t not thank them but hopefully next time THANKS BANANA ISLAND

We had an amazing week holiday at the island the staff are amazing starting from the port all the way to the island. A special thank you to Gerardo at the front desk he was so welcoming and helped us a lot when we needed it. The food was great when we went to Ted’s diner Nowshad was so lovely and checked in on us every time we went to eat there to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was also great and staff are lovely they knew what we wanted every morning so thank you. Defiantly we will be visiting again.

Beautiful experience, the transportation is very convenient, the service on board the boat is excellent SARAH was very friendly and professional making you live the experience in high mode and hight expectations for what is next, unfortunately I came only one day pass since my stay in Qatar was very squeezed but surly I’m coming back for stay and experience all the facilities. In general the overall experience was amazing and especially the staff were very approachable and helpful.

The two bedroom sea view pool villa was a good experience for me and my family where we stayed and swim in our own pool. The staff their is very nice and helpful. The food was delicious but expensive. I really enjoyed playing the activities their especially golf and surfing. The captain crew Nylla service is amazing, keep up the good work. It was a pleasure to stay in banana island again after six years. Hopefully we can come visit again. This place is really good for vacation.

First time to visit despite all the hectic transportation and the stay was very good. Hotel, and room was spotless and all staff we had interaction with were extremely helpful. My wife had Spa treatment and enjoyed it thoroughly. Forgot the name of therapist, but she is awesome. Remembered Myla, the spa reception she is very professional and so helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.

A wonderful island with phenomenal service and atmosphere. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Amazing private jacuzzi, steam and sauna. All staff were all accomodating from the valet parking, to the boat, arrival reception with the band , restaurant , pool and beach the welcoming were very heart warming, makes us comfortable with our stay. My stay at Banana Island was an amazing experience. The service from checking in to checking out was flawless. The best part of banana island were the staff who were incredibly friendly and polite, very welcoming and accommodating, so definitely a 5 star for the service. Lisel on the boat was very helpful when I felt seasick. The restaurant food was surprisingly very good which I did not expect as hotel restaurants have been disappointing in the past. Spa was good and massage too. Rooms were clean as usual and buggy was helpful to get around the island. I will definitely be coming back.

It was a really nice choice for a perfect vacation , the rooms were really nice and well designed, the staff was really friendly with a welcoming attitude. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to try their spa services due to unavailability . But we think they need to improve their food quality we tried the Indian restaurant it was disappointing 😞. Also , Arabic coffee from the room service was below expectations

Incredible place! The staff were so lovely and warm, they helped us with absolutely everything and we cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. The staff at Teds (American Diner), the amazing men driving the buggy carts around (Ibrahim and Bruno in particular!) as well as Pravin in reception who was so kind to us from the start to the end of the day. The staff on the transfer boat were so welcoming not to mention the fact that the view is so spectacular. We had a day pass for today but we will be back no doubt for a stay sometime soon!

Really, really loved my day visit to the island. Everything was professionally organised and was very impressed from booking to the transport. Amazing experience in the Island Paradise. I felt it was like Maldives. My second stay and beach was very clean and well maintained. It was very cozy normal weather. My room was very clean and well decorated by cleaning staffs. Well... staffs were so nice and gentle. Felt like home. Pool was very nice, sparkling clear and services were great. Fragrance in lobby was good and neatly maintained all time. Golf cart is available all time and just a call away. Neat and beautiful island paradise.....Negative- None

Indeed, it was a very great place to unwind together with the family. The so called Maldives of Qatar made me amazed. The staff's of the resort was very approachable and easy to get along with. My #2 resort in Doha, mainly cos of the food. It's great selections and yummy. There was a lot of flies around even in the daytime for a November day, made it not so pleasant sitting outside. I would go back.
