Hotel

😠 Worst place I ever tried to stay in. The receptionist put me in a room in another building that I didn't book and I left. Thanks for wasting my money I will tell the whole world never to come to this hotel again. People often mention hotel, stay, staff, Doha, Souq, pool, souq, room, good, market,

Can't say enough good things about this hotel! The staff were exceptional from check-in to check-out. If you have a long transit, it is worth staying here even for a few hours just to unwind and go look at the market. Taxi fare should be around 50 Qatari riyals from the airport. Your taxi can't drop you off here because it is pedestrian access only, but you can ask to be dropped off at the Arumalia, which is part of the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels. You can check in there and a trusty attendant will drive you over in a golf cart. In room: There are robes, slippers, complete bathroom amenities (toothbrush, comb, shaving kit, vanity kit, toiletries), traditional coffee making, electric kettle, assorted tea bags, and bottled water. The swimming pool for the boutique hotels is at this location and is open from 7:00 am-7:00 pm. The pool is attended by a lifeguard. Dining options are aplenty in hotel or at the market. Estimate 50-60 Qatari riyal for an entree. Most stores at the market open at 4:00 pm.

It's all about the vibes it gives you. I have never felt such comfort, their service and hospitality are on point. You'll feel extremely happy and satisfied in the heart of Doha with the magical charm of Souq Waqif. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. This goes to Trivoli Boutique Hotels in Souq Waqif. Chapeau!!

We stayed at the Al Mirqab hotel for a night on a layover in Doha. It was a great stay. Firstly, if you take the Doha Metro from the airport to Souq Waqif station, it is only a 10 second walk from the station exit which is very useful as it can get very hot outside. It is also very easy to get to by taxi. The location of the hotel is perfect, it is right in the centre of the Souq which is full of great places to eat and is very beautiful. Our room was extremely comfortable and very cool with great views of the West Bay and the blinds kept the room in complete darkness in the morning which is very useful as it gets very sunny. The pool is just amazing and so refreshing especially when you have just been on a long flight. Finally, Abdullah and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful and gave us everything we needed. I would really recommend the Al Mirqab hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Doha.

For the look this hotels are fine. But facility wise nothing. And it's very closer to the Souq. That's the only concern

Although the hotel is a bit old, I can totally recommend it. It's clean, charming, and perfectly located and has a fantastic service.

We stayed here during the World Cup for 10 days. The rooms were clean and the bed VERY comfortable. The shades for the windows didn't work well and they were quite dusty. But overall the room was fine. What really set off the place was the staff. Jennifer at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, warm, and personable. She was a treasure as was Leonard, the pool man. He was gracious, friendly, kind, and generous. We intentionally stayed here to be in the middle of the Souq. We were. This was our fourth trip to Doha and each time we've stayed with Tivoli...each time it was the correct choice.

not bad at all, the tv channels weren't working, the pool closes too early, but the rest was fine, nicely located and good service and helpful staff. i reommend it and can stay here often. It's a group of many hotels, so you might book somewhere and they could offer you to stay in one of their other hotels if you like.

Hotel Location was very good, only 15 minutes away from Hamad International Airport, with restaurants, souvenir shops and many other interesting shops just within the square. The rooms were very nice and hotel service was good. Highly recommended!

If we like the Arabic style accomodation, this hotel is a very nice one to stay, in the middle of Souq Waqif traditional market.

this hotel can not be a five stars!!! - I didn’t think I would use the souq parking and that would take me 30 minutes to drop my family in the souq and they will jump on the hotel club car that will take them to the hotel. meanwhile I will find a parking slot in souq parking and will walk to the souq to find a club cart as well! - the king bed was very small and the mattress was sagging! - there is no a bathtub - was very noisy in the evening, you will hear the music and people dancing, laughing until 2 am - souq needs maximum four hours to walk around and have karak and chapati! very bad quality items but nice architecture that was a terrible experience. next time I will stay in five stars hotel away from Waqif

Want to experience a new ambiance? This place is for you if you are not familiar with local cuisine here in Doha. It's a wonderful experience where staff are friendly and gives you a hearwarming music from a very talented musicians in the house while having dinner. Foods are superb!😊

Nice location. You won’t get bored in the evenings. Rooms are massive. TV is small though.

It is not usual for us to stay in a five star hotels. So, yeah, all marble, comfort, super kind staff and everything... But, what you do not get with other five stars in Doha is the location. This hotel is located in the center of largest Doha market (do not miss falcon market!), full of narrow streets filled with all kinds of goods. And then restaurants. You can choose between local, Turkish, Lebanese, Italian food... We bet on street food. Njami, do not hesitate, you will not regret it. If you manage it due to intense heat, there are several museums in a walking distance, with most beautiful (Desert Rose) few minutes with taxi. After walk through the Arabic oven you will more than enjoy the roof pool.
