Nice beach club for adults only..great pool and West Bay view from the beach. Good chill vibe music but currently lacking atmosphere as too empty as so new

We were excited to come to this place for our birthday parties. It was a ladies night and birthday do for 4 of us that night. We were a party of 6. Initially we were given 2 separate table. Because we were told one table can only be 5 person maximum. But when i arrived at La Mar, at 6.30 pm i see other sunset guests are sitting at 6-7 pax a table. Some even had 8 pax. We’ve requested a table for all of us to seat together and they said its not possible. After showing the staff, other people whom are clearly not family sitting together 6 pax and more, the staff said ok since its 6 pax you can sit together. Few mins later i see the other half of my table was arranged for 10 pax guests table. And behind me was more than 10 pax. Food. I must say the food is amongst the best ive tasted in Doha. We ordered few dishes to share, plus desserts. Food arrived fast after trying to get the attention of staff for awhile, and its was enough for all of us to share. Coffee was not great, more milk than anything else. Service it was difficult to get the staff’s attention for orders and bill. Ordering extra drinks etc takes times. Why the lack of stars here? Asking for the bill. We had to ask 5 servers for our bill, and took them more than 35 mins to give us the bill. Its only when Ive decided to leave the table, a server ask how can she help us. To me it is unacceptable. Try to do it to a local qatari, and see what happens. It was my first visit to this restaurant. Customer service zero.

La mar is definitely the BEST restaurant in Doha. The food there is just amazing and top quality, we’ve tried many restaurants in Doha and nothing compares to la mar. They have the best of everything ( small plates, sushi and mains ) sushi there is the best ever, highly recommend it for everyone, the service the staff all so polite and accommodating. A big thank you to the front of house staff, Claudia, all the waiters and waitresses. They’re the reason we keep coming back!

I've been here a few times now, and this place never disappoints. The service is lovely and the atmosphere is impeccable. Highly recommend sitting outside when possible. This time, colleagues and I came to happy hour to celebrate someone's birthday. The cocktails were very good (we tried Peruvian brandy cocktails offered at the bottom of the cocktail menu). We also had bites - the maki sushi rolls, the tequenos, the seafood patty sliders and the ceviche. All were wonderful. We finished the night with dessert: lemon tart, salted caramel cake/ice cream roll and chocolate cake provided by the restaurant for our birthday girl. Will keep coming to this place for sure! Highly recommend.

Great place for food and drinks! The environment is great in this nice restaurant in a hotel. These places are great to take loved ones and go and relax and enjoy the scenery. Will go again with my friend very soon!

Absolutely one of the best places to eat in Doha! Service is impeccable, ambience inside and outside is great (Arabian sea view when you sit on the terrace) and the food is just to die for! No exaggeration; everyone will find something they’ll absolutely love. Whether you opt for the fried fish variations, the insane steak, finger licking ceviche and Appetizers or vegetarian options. Large amount of vegan options available too!

One of the best kitchen in Doha. They made me like and notice Peruvian cuisine. They have a very rich sea food menu. Also meat is nice, especially Tomahawk is a catch. I preferred gin basil cocktail 🍸 last time. Total 5 star restaurant. I advise you to continue upstairs at Manko 😉

Wife, daughter and I joined for an early dinner. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection, the drinks were tasty and the staff was amazing!

If you have never eaten at Lamar - you need to. It’s a “must visit” in Doha. The staff are incredible and their focus on detail is second to none. The food is amazing and I never cease to be surprised with each visit. Just simply the finest restaurant and in Doha and our favorite!

Unique to Doha! Beautiful brand new beach club, with very friendly staff, gorgeous decor, nice pool, sandy beach access and a DJ playing awesome tunes. Went on the opening day and everything ran smoothly - imagine the place will get better and better as it gets busier

This is a wonderful food experience! The flavors take you to the Latin world. The dishes are all elegantly presented. We sat outside and loved the gulf view.

Love the atmosphere, seafood is amazing Was celebrating my birthday here. Was super nice and friendly. Cozy sofas, professional personnel We took a lot of different type of maki , everything was tasty. Seafood Paella is lovely. And I love the Sunset cocktail

Overcooked food, it was impossible to detect the taste of grilled octopus or to identify the fresh seafood in a too spicy and too sticky rice. Serving sake in a schnaps shot glasses after we were asked by waitress if the sake is beer it was another "winning point". The cocktails, the sake and the wine were put on our table practically in the same time. Maybe it would be better to learn a little bit about the timing between food and drinks. After receving the menus we had to wait about 20-25 minutes in order to place our order( only few customers in the restaurant at that time), no treat from the house (what about some cancha?), no details about food were provided. No marraqueta or chancay bread, instead we received some very warm, half-cut fluffy breakfast buns. We are very fond of peruvian food but this experience was a total disappointment. Good ceviche, very good wine, but for sure we won't return.

I had an amazing experience going to la mar restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We were served by Johnson and a huge thanks to him. He was so helpful and attentive to us. Also you have to try the cappuccino there. Definitely will come again!

Absolutely stunning seaside restaurant in Doha! Peruvian cuisine dishes were described to us in detail and were fresh and delicious. Exceptional staff, especially Mohammed, made us feel like cherished guests. Perfect for special occasions, beautifully decorated table with flowers. An unforgettable experience!

Had our anniversary dinner here. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Their hospitality can be rated easily as 10/10. Peruvian food was delicious! Special thanks to Mr. JD who was very accomodating and made sure that he provided us with top-notch service. Thank you for the complimentary cake, too!

Went for Saturday brunch. Had been here before in May 2022 and it was great. However it has not maintained that level. Brunch is 4 small appetizers, 2 hot and 2 cold. Main course is 1 of 4 choices. All that for QAR 300/person. Very disappointing as previously it was more appetizers and you could get more if you liked any of them. No longer, just 1 serving. View of the beach is nice, probably even better once it's cooler. But for the price charged, and the quality of the food, i will not go back.

It was my first time having Peruvian cuisine and dear lord it was incredible! I went there with my friend, we had CEBICHE which was very refreshing and delicious with a perfect amount of acidity and a nice kick of chili, CONCHITAS BACHICHE was very nice not too cheesey but I was more impressed with the PULPO which was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked. EMPANADA DE LOMO was okay not the best as I had Brazilian and Mexican empanadas before! The ARROZ CON MARISCOS was really nice and what I really liked the most was how everything was perfectly cooked and juicy as it could easily get overcooked which I adored. For dessert I had PIE DE LIMON which was very delicious with all that mouthwatering lime flavor. Now aside from the incredible food, what made this experience more exceptional was the great service of the staff, Mr.Diego, Mr.Anderson and one of the ladies "on my next visit I will update the review with her name" who were absolutely incredible and friendly, they made us feel very welcomed and definitely gave us another reason to go there over and over again.

We came for lunch and the food was delicious! We also tried the peruvian cocktails and it was nice as well. The service was superb from all of the staff especially Sonam. She was very accommodating. She explained to us very well the dishes and cocktails in the menu. I also called the reservation to prearrange a cake as a surprise for my friend and they made it possible. Overall we had a very nice experience!

They make the best ceviche in town. The staff is very professional. Chef Dalia was especially kind and made the meal even better. If you like Peruvian food and good service, you should definitely check out this restaurant

The service by Maiviel was awesome! She welcomed us and explained to us the Peruvian cuisine they have and what their specialties are. We celebrated a friend’s birthday and she was so warm and welcoming. The food was good and the ambience with the music was just perfect for an evening with friends. They got a fabulous cake on a boat with a candle for the birthday celebration. Overall, it is expensive and a nice fine-dining place to celebrate an event with friends/family.

I had a wonderful experience at La Mar Beach Club. Heidar, the manager, was fantastic, he created a relaxed atmosphere with great techno music, refreshing drinks (we chose the lovely fresh juice and mocktails) and delicious food options. I loved the choice between a private cabana or beach pool chairs near the water and music. The presence of a DJ and live trumpet added to the overall enjoyment. Despite visiting during the hottest time of the year, I still had a great time. I highly recommend visiting on a weekend, especially on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, as those days were the most lively. My only minor suggestions would be to stay open later and have a slightly larger crowd, but I understand that we were there during the low season, so it makes sense.

It's my first time visiting the place and this will be my favorite place to hangouts with friend . - Amazing surroundings. - Food is very tasty, portions are not too large - Special thanks to Erhan and his great bartender in Qatar" Prassanna and Hammoud" with his amazing energy and service! - Great cocktails "Raspberry Sangria" is my recommendation^_^ If you’re in Qatar I’d highly recommend to visit.

What a lovely place! Simply amazing. Food, ambiance, service- everything is just great. I would say that original ceviche is much better than seafood ceviche. Both octopus and “paella” were wonderful. We had one problem though- the lady asked concierge to call us a taxi and advised to wait for 5-10 minutes. After 20 minutes we checked with the concierge and realized he didn’t confirm the order to her- so we were waiting for nothing. Lost this time (could have ordered Uber before) and were late for our England-France 1/4final of the World Cup. Maybe during normal times without World Cup traffic they don’t let their guests down with such mistakes

La Mar has always been on my list to visit and I finally did. Located in the Intercontinental Hotel in separate building with a beautiful seating area inside and outside. Delicious and beautifully presented Peruvian food! They first served us a bowl of crispy plantain chips, which were incredible, super and light and basically tasted like potato chips! Started off with my top dish at the restaurant, Tuna Dashi, with thin slices of tuna in a delicious yellow chili dashi leche de tigre with torched avocado and sweet potato. The sauce was delicious and paired so well with the tuna, I highly recommend. Then for the ceviche, we tried the Trio Cebichero, which came with Barrunto, Nikkei and Clasico, each very different and yummy. I just prefered the tuna dashi over them. For the main course we tried the Carne Anticuchos, tender grilled Wagyu pieces with chimichurri, on a bed of potatoes and corn. And then we got the Middle East Chaufa, which was an incredible fusion of a fried rice with middle eastern touches. Topped with Anticucho Lamb pieces, super tender and juicy, with labneh and stir fried vegetables. Then for the dessert we had the must try Torta de Chocolate, a chocolate cake topped with a yummy chocolate dulce de leche sauce with cacao nibs with vanilla ice cream. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate cakes but this was done perfectly and could be the best I've tasted. Also got the Tres Leche, which was nice and creamy, but nothing too special. Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 Location: 10/10 Recommend: Tuna Dashi Carne Anticuchos Middle East Chaufa Torta de Chocolate

There are so many good restaurants in Doha with so much to offer: delicious food, rich menus, and great service wanting to get your attention and make you a regular. And there are also those who, in addition to of all the above, make your experience so unique. Beyond the food, the interaction with professionals, their kindness and dedication makes all the difference. Thank you Thansing. I will come back to La Mar.

Hands down my all-time favourite South American restaurant. Food has exceptional quality and variation, all incredibly flavourful at a very affordable price for such a high-end restaurant. The beach-facing restaurant has beautifully decorated interior and a spectacular outdoor area with view of the city skyline. The menu changes often and you can also look out for regular offers.

La Mar Intercontinental can be found at West Bay near the Beach. It’s a compound where you can also find other fine dinning restaurants. I was there because my Boss asked me to decorate the venue for a special event. The staff there are highly recommended. They assisted me professionally though I’m a bit shy myself because I wasn’t dress properly for the kind of place. I was only sent there to check on the place and it was unexpected. But what impressed me the most aside from the high class designs are its people. I would definitely recommend to everyone Intercon hotel in West Bay.❤️

La Mar is a great restaurant located in the Intercontinental hotel Katara. It is a Peruvian inspired restaurant with inside and outside seating. With an amazing view of West bay and Corniche, 50 meters away from the beach, you are sure to spend a great evening. The food is original and tasty with a great selection of seafood based meals. A great selection of Alcohol and cocktails. The place is quite pricey though! A reservation is needed!

1st time in la mar to try peruvian cuisine. No doubt! 👏🏻 Delicious food, worth the price

For our Food discovery in Feb we opted to visit La Mar. I must say beautiful outdoor setting and elegant restaurant, it was a bit cold though to be on the terrace but the view was worth it. With regards to the food, we opted for the sushi with a Peruvian touch, it was good and we enjoyed it. Main dish was Lamb and rice which was very tasty. We enjoyed it. And finally the dessert which was delicious although we could not finish it. We had a nice evening and a nice place to unwind. The service could have been better though, it was a bit slow and we had to wait for a bit. Plus being outside the food got cold quite fast..

Beautiful ambiance and nice staff.... Good food... Good crowd, best place to spend evening time
