The Safwa first class lounge is...well first class. For some reason, Qatar Airways provides only first class seats for the Kuwait-Qatar sector even though the flight and the seats are the basic business class seats. However, it does give the passengers access to the Safwa lounge on the return trip and that is truly a joy. It is like sitting in a five star fine dining restaurant, except better and more importantly free. The hosts are always checking on you and your needs. If you get an opportunity to access the lounge, it is well worth your time.

No one will find better than this lounge. It is really luxurious. It is worth to try it specially if you have long layover for connection flight. All services are available: spa, treatment room, private gust bedroom, dining, family area, kids area, kids games room, special bus take you to your flight, mini free duty, lockers, smoking area. The food is so tasty and delicious and well served. The waiters are so respectful and kind. No one can be compared with Qatar Airways first class lounge.

This lounge is quite large, but it's very nice. Great wait staff and table service, terrific food and drinks, and relatively easy to get to most gates from. The women's bathroom was very clean and well appointed, plus it has an area to get ready if needed. I will say if you're going for a quick in and out one of the other lounges might be better because everything is ordered and you might not have time. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

A must if you are flying long haul. Had a long 7 hour layover from Uk to HK and this peaceful retreat offers a clean, quiet bedroom with a spa for relaxing massage and jacuzzi to put you at ease and readies you for the next part of your journey. The restaurant offers gourmet food and the free flowing champagne never hurts ;) well done!

Explored the lounge. There are many facilities and it’s large so doesn’t feel overcrowded. Also it’s divided into various areas, again that creates less of a waiting room ambiance.

What an amazing experience at the Al Safwa first lounge at Doha. The staff here were so lovely and great hosts during our stay. I want to single out Ashraf who was working in the dining area. He went above and beyond to ensure we had all the best info about the lounge. Best times to use the shower rooms, recommendations for dishes and other useful information. He truly represented Qatar airlines great service that you can always expect. The food here is exceptional. two dining areas to choose from - the deli which serves sushi and sandwiches and lighter options and then the fine dining restaurant that serves many kinds of cuisines. Local specialities and delicacies from afar. We were around during 3-5pm and got to try their high tea which was a nice assortment of dishes. Later on in the evening we tried the Aloo makhani which was simply phenomenal :)

Breathtaking architecture, amazing food, and exceptional treatment at every step. The private escort to the boarding gate was the cherry on top. Spoiled for life now as I can’t imagine ever traveling to Doha without making a visit to this lounge.

As a platinum flyer on several airlines over the years, I can confidently say this is the best top tier airline lounge I’ve ever seen. It’s empty & not crowded out by all the silver & gold tier but economy travelers (sorry), the service is attentive & impeccable, the food & facilities are amazing. If you have a long layover this lounge is a haven, very highly recommended

Deserves an extra star. So 🌟. Unreal - museum displays in sections and the staff are on point. It’s cavernous. Showers, spas, massages - it’s quite comprehensive to the point where you’d almost pick a later flight to chill here.

From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting hospitality of the staff welcomed us with open arms. The breathtaking architecture, paired with their attentive service, set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The amazing food and exceptional treatment at every step were just the beginning. And the private escort to the boarding gate? That was the cherry on top, leaving me spoiled for life. I can't imagine embarking on a journey to Doha without ensuring a visit to this remarkable lounge, where every detail is perfected, and guests are treated like royalty.

I had a delightful experience at Al Safwa First Lounge in Hamad International Airport. The à la carte menu offered a delicious array of options, showcasing a variety of appetizing choices. The lounge itself was impeccably clean, featuring exclusive amenities like a private duty-free area, a spa, and a dedicated prayer room. The staff were not only nice but also conducted themselves with professionalism, adding to the overall positive impression of the lounge. A truly enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Amazing lounge! Access is very limited due to Qatar not having that many First Class routes, although if you’re flying paid business you could get access or with the top tier of the FF Qatar program. The showers and private sleeping rooms are great. The food is also very good considering the no flame rule at HIA. I ordered the wagyu beef steak and it was amazing. The space is very big, with pottery and other stuff from the museum of Islamic art. Only thing is that if you want a sleeping room, you might have to wait as they’re usually taking during peak times.

This is the premier lounge in Doha. Upon entering, you would immediately feel that you've entered a fancy place with fancy service. Nothing comes close to being made to feel welcomed like a boss. All the staff members are all smiles and are truly happy to serve you. Visiting this place even if it is just a stopover is a trip in itself.

Incredible in size! Feels like a museum. So much space and so quiet and peaceful. Just a shame there aren't enough sleeping areas. Restaurant was quiet from 2am. Staff are really friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely spacious ambiance at this First class lounge. Sleep bed stations are on a first come first serve basis. They have 7 family rooms to allow family to stay together. Spa services cost extra but they are almost fully booked. Restaurants offer a very good quality of food. An absolutely enjoyable experience.

Massive lounge with plenty of space. Almost feels like a museum, but in a luxurious way. Quiet attentive staff. Excellent food options, and lots of places for working or relaxing. I also visited the spa for a massage treatment and enjoyed it very much.

This is certainly the best VIP airport lounge in the world. Delicious a la carte restaurant, and suites that looke like 5-star hotel where you can rest. The downside is that the suite has an emergency light that doesnt turn off, and it’s right in front of your bed. I could rest, but could not sleep because of the light. Only reason for not giving 5-stars.

Does not get any better than this. Service 100% every 100 meters you go. Had to wait 7 hours for our connection flight so used their private guest bedroom suite with full en-suite for no extra charge. Qatar Airways is impossible to beat.

Wow - that’s all I can put for the initial impact of this lounge. It really does have everything covered and the service is of course exemplary. Have been a few times and always the same incredibly high standards are kept. The menu changes regularly and the quality is always great too.

To be the world's best requires many things other than a beautiful , exquisite building .. the hospitality, the soul behind has to match it and it sure does . Thank you for you Regal treatment and attention to all details , amazing food and spa facilities ... can't wait to come back again and again

Should be many star given. Even you pay to enter is really good experience. Firstly the staff - they arr superb: give them a smile first. Second - the facility : far beyond imagination. Third the location : easy to access except the long and steep escalator. Lastly the food ;- one word : magnificanto and superb… if you have time and money better tried this place…

An experience like no other, very much worth the extra if travelling on a business ticket for the upgrade. The food and service is second to none and not something I have seen in any other airport lounge. Full bar and restaurant area along with a number of additional spaces including a smoking room. Plus an in lounge duty free area

As far as business class lounges go, it doesn't get much better than this. Fine dining food. Cosy sleeping pods with excellent showers. Game rooms for the kids. What more can you ask for?

They are not kidding when they say best in the world. The experience is unparalleled, as are the amenities. Certainly a bucket list item for travel pros. And for those in region, I would go out of my way to enjoy this experience.

Amazing staff, food and drinks. This is without a doubt the best first class lounge I’ve been in. Top notch. Showers are well appointed, have a full spa!

It’s a massive lounge and attentive attendants. The only pitfall is that the foods aren’t of best quality & tastes.

One of the best lounges food and place is amazing ( spa costs money ) and the only down side is that the Game Center car simulator isn’t working and all old consoles aren’t working but the rest are just perfect

Overall the lounge is very good. However, do not expect to have a comfortable nap over there. They do Not allow to have a sleep/nap on couches including kids; only on designated areas which have not adjustable lounge armchairs.

👍👍 Cosy and peaceful restaurant to dine out. Food has texture, it's flavorful and very well presented like a piece of art. Mind-blowing service. Staff is very friendly and professional. They also have nice outside seating also. Yes it's bit pricey but it's actually worth paying. I highly recommend it.
