This is something amazing that you wish to see and toouch !! Since long time I was telling my kids we will visit to a place where we can experience these planets very near... The cinema inside for this beautiful presentation was almost 180 degree, look like you are dreaming this universe and it's expanding slowly (gradually) these beautiful colours mesmerising your inner being and you are enjoying these astonishing moments with your friends and family ❣️.. Environment is very hygienical. Sophisticated and classic. Wide open. Comfortable seats. Unique screen (180 degree or more) You can calculate your weight on all planets Worth to visit with your family.

Infrastructure is just awesome and kids will enjoy the show about solar system. Seating capacity is for 200 people. Tickets free of cost. English and arabic shows are there. To avoid long waiting hours in queue, book tickets online. Sometimes they change the shows according to crowd.

Informative place in Qatar if you are interested in Space and related things. But exhibition area is only showing few items only. The items placed here are good Show is also not happening everyday better to check in their website before coming here about the showtimes.

This planetarium is one of the best must visit places of Qatar especially the theatrical show is an awesome experience, a different kind of screen which is round shape and covering almost 300° view. The show looks realistic, amazing and kind of 3D show without the need for wearing 3d spectacle. The shows focus on Space science which is educational and good to learn about space and earth. The shows are scheduled mainly on Monday & Wednesday, it's one show a day. The show details are being updated in their official website. Online booking is their first preference but didn't worked for me as the error message shown that, required seats are not available when i tried to book for 2 persons. When we visited directly, our name was registered in waiting list. Once they first finished calling online booked persons, they have called the waiting list persons. During the entire show duration, the majority of the seats were empty. So, there is high chance to experience this show even if the online booking fails. The show is free of cost. Highly appreciate Qatar for the great experience provided.

Do visit the place as it's very good for kids. My kid enjoyed the show and learnt news things. Easily accessible as it's at walking distance from Al qasar metro station. We went on weekday. Entry & show was free.

Situated in a cozy location. Such a vibrant and happy place to be. But nothing much to see inside the museum. They told us about a show like 2 days a week. (Monday and Wednesday).

I honestly don’t understand how this has so many good reviews. It will take approximately 10 mins to see every exhibit which you could probably fit in a big hall in your home. Second floor was closed. Im really not sure how people reviewed this.

The museum and show are both a big hit with my kid! Highly recommended. Tip: Book your ticket one day before the show. Make sure it's in the morning because it's easily sold out!

Maybe 2 dozen things to look at, all with the smallest font in the least lighting so you can hardly read any of the plaques. Shows only on Monday and Wednesday, not the weekend when most people would visit. Lots of things roped off when I went in July, 2023. It's a good thing I didn't have to pay to go in or I'd be demanding a refund. Save yourself the trouble and give this a pass.

Very nice and informative place. Shows are only on Monday and Wednesday. Tickets can only be booked online. Booking opens 24 hours before show time. 'Perfect little planet' show was really nice, very suitable for kids. There are few 3D shows as well

In this planetarium, which is located in the Katara Village, children can interact with interactive boards, but be aware that some of them will require explanations. The museum does offer tours, but unfortunately, we couldn't take part in one when we visited. In spite of the fact that the planetarium is free and open to the public, I would only recommend going if you are in Katara Village because there isn't much to see and do inside.

The Planetarium has interactive screens & fun facts about space. The exhibit also includes NASA spacesuits and replicas of space rocks, a rocket & satellite The legend of the splitting of the moon is a very striking piece. Also on display are antiques & constellation charts It is not a big exhibition, but it is fun to visit. Shows start from 16:00 and details are posted on their website

A small planetarium near Katara Cultural village. There are interactive displays for kids in the hall. We went for the 5 pm English show which is about half an hour and is free. Be sure to get there at least an hour and register at the desk. The English show that we went for was on a Wednesday. Overall a fun place to take kids.

It's a small planetarium in Katara with a theatre and the entry is free. It is appropriate for children who enjoy learning about the fundamentals of our solar system. The shows are in English and Arabic. Highly recommended anyone going to Katara to visit it atleast once.
