An amazing vegetarian joint. They have plenty of branches all over Doha. They have a variety of dosa to choose from. Their filter coffee is great. Food is served quick. They are not quite friendly though. There is also a snack counter that has variety of sweet and savoury dishes to choose from. They taste Good and are pocket friendly too. Their location has been changed. The new location is few buildings before the older place. It's cleaner and bigger but parking is a problem.

Fot dinner we went to place on a weekend. It was around 11pm at night and at that time the store was about to get closed. The food was very good and at very reasonable price. We had filter coffee at the end which was very very refreshing. One shouls definitely try.

A bit obscure location to find but great food. Was quite busy and needed to get waiters attention for service. Enjoyed my meal.

One of the best Indian Vegetarian restaurant in Qatar. Good ambience in a new location. But honestly, prices are high... for a tea QR 5!.. Filter Coffee Qr 7.5! Juice 15.50!

I was amazed to find this Pure Vegetarian restaurant in Souq Waqif, Doha, Qatar. I have been there once but I can say that they have some real Indian food. Quality was very awesome, just like home cooked food. For someone who is looking for Indian Vegetarian food, one must really visit there. Wait time was really less and also it is very busy during weekends.

This is my favorite South Indian breakfast spot. Mouth watering food, excellent customer service and amazing atmosphere to relax and indulge in the Indian flavor to hit your taste buds. A must visit vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Doha.

Was quite disappointed with the food served here. We had to wait 10 mins for someone to take our order. The service seemed slow. But since it was a weekend, we didn't mind. We had ordered Vada, Masala dosa and Rava masala dosa. Both dosas were cold by the time it reached our table. And the palya (masala) inside the masala dosa was so much less in quantity. Upon mentioning this, the waiter got us a small bowl of extra masala. But still it's shocking that for the price they charge, the quantity is so less. It's ridiculous. The taste was also subpar. The only saving grace was the Vada. Won't be visiting here again.

At times Can’t miss to have South Indian food, Saravana Bhavan has its brand quality and taste of food in India (TN province) and it’s maintained here. For those who haven’t tried, it’s a highly recommended place for vegetarians, and who would like to try South Indian (Tamil) cuisine.

The food was good and yummy, one of the best south Indian veg restaurants in Doha, The interiors looks gorgeous and a exciting✨ place to eat in, but the down side is this place is kinda hard to walk up the stairs, no lift and lastly you really need to get the attention of the waiter to order but overall I would say if you wanna try south Indian dishes and you are veg, this is one of a good restaurants for a quick, healthy, yummy 😋 ones. Which makes one's day and Saravana Bhavan is one of the oldest south Indian restaurants which has maintained it legacy throughout these years.

I wish will be able to give them 0 rating.. totally tasteless and overpriced food. Ordered Paneer65 in starter and it was totally rubbish.. they served food in steel plates same like Vasanta Bhawan.. I think Management is same for both branches.. bad crockery, tasteless and overpriced food... they have charged QR 11 for 2 Gulabjamun and both were burnt, small on size not freshly cooked..Naan was full of oil....Matar Panner was so bad ... we had left food in-between as it was very bad in taste... no proper sitting arrangement and no Family section.... very bad impression.. We had paid QR 107 for nothing (see pics)... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.. kindly do not visit them and spend your money somewhere else.. 🙏🏻

Nice vegetarian restaurant which is quite popular. Food quality is good. Lots of variety of dosas and south Indian food. Ambience is good too. Service is a little slower, but otherwise everything is good. Overall worth visiting multiple times.

Food, Service and Atmosphere is all very good. But, it is expensive especialy for hot beverages which we love to drink along with the veg food. Yet still I am there to eat the south Indian dishes.

We've been Sarava Bhavan fans since our time in Saudi, where we frequented Riyadh branch, which, in comparison, is much bigger with better service. Nevertheless, good food, I'm compelled to admit they have maintained the taste standards worldwide. However, they seriously need to improve and quicken their service. Saravana Bhavan is known for real quick service worldwide.

I was impressed with the quality of the food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Overall, I would highly recommend this to any vegetarian or anyone looking to try some delicious and healthy plant-based food options.

Tiffen is delicious without doubt. Meals also tasty but kaarakozhambu really worst ..Sambar fine... Main thing they did not clean the hall after break fast ..We found bunch of hairs down my table ...I never expect this uncleanness in saravanabhavan.

Fall from grace. This place had a legacy in terms of service and authenticity of cuisine Nowadays it’s a mere shadow of what it was used to be 10 years ago. Uncleaned plates, left over food on table, and uncourteous employees. On a weekend you will find it hard to find a seat, off late it’s almost empty.

As a vegetarian, finding good Indian restaurants can be challenging, but this sarvanaa bhavan ticked all the right boxes. The ambiance was pleasant, with a welcoming vibe, and the service was prompt and friendly. The menu offered a decent variety of vegetarian options, and the flavors of the dishes were authentic and satisfying. The aloo gobi and dal makhani were standouts, cooked to perfection. The pricing was fair for the quality of the food, and overall, my dining experience was enjoyable. If you're a vegetarian looking for delicious Indian cuisine, this restaurant won't disappoint

This is my go to place usually and the authentic South Indian food option will never disappoint. However, they have tried to include all other Indian meal cuisine which is quite a defocused aspect.

  • 3/5 Anurag K. 1 year ago on Google
The food I ordered was okayish. Could have been warmer and could taste better. The quantity of food was very good and the staff very friendly. Given Qatar had less vegetarian options, I found this place satiating.

  • 4/5 Sidharth N. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is located on the 1st floor. The place is usually crowded and congested. But you can enjoy the south Indian dishes. We ordered ghee Roast which was good and tasty.

I have been to Sarvana atleast 15-20 times at their different outlets in AlKhor and Doha. The taste of their dishes (South Indian) never fail to satisfy your cravings. __________ This restaurant was recently (7 months back) shifted to a new location because of some construction work. The new location is exactly opposite to the old location. It's still near the Alfardan Bus Depot, this time it's just on the opposite side of the road. __________ Coming to the taste, the staff and other factors, I'm pleased as always. The staff is friendly, seating arrangements are comfortable, their South Indian delicacies are delicious as always! __________ Till date, I have tried their Dosas (Rava Masala, Onion Rava Masala, Mysore Sada, Sada Dosa, Paneer Dosa, Masala Dosa) Idli Sambhar (Plain simple Idli), Onion Uttappam, Medu Vada, etc. All these items that I have mentioned here deserve a 5/5. __________ Just one suggestion: If you want to taste their peak deliciousness, then visit on the weekdays and not on the weekends.

Food is good. New place is spacious internally but located in a congested area, maybe gets better once the road construction is done. Can maintain a bit more cleanliness.

Standard South Indian affair. A bit pricey but good service. The approach road is under construction, which is entire Qatar is right now. Difficult to find using Google maps, entire place is barricaded.

New Ambience is very nice and food items are delicious. If Any fry curry added in the Thali might be better.

Food is good. But everything else is 👎🏼. The attitude of the guy at the counter is like “take it or leave it!”! ☹️ No one else to be seen at the restaurant as staff … After waiting for 10 minutes, the guy who comes from inside has a questioning look as to why are you here?!!! The access to the place virtually non- existent. Never try Google maps to get you across the completely closed roads. Overall don’t recommend to try to reach here either for take away or for dine-in. 😟

Food and service is good and main issue is no parking.. We around the place for 25min to park our car.. Rather than everything good

  • 5/5 Pawankumar S. 2 years ago on Google
New location is on first floor, people with disability will find it difficult to go up stair. Since lot of construction is going on near by, finding parking near by is difficult. Food and service is good as usual. staff are friendly and supportive. I have rated 5 based for food and service as they have maintained it.

One of the best south Indian food in Doha. Their filter coffee is too good. Staff is really friendly and kind. Sambhar is really tasty. Place is quite big and clean. Their breakfast is best.

Best Tea and South Indian Filter coffee in the town. The sweets are waste of the money and with dense sugar.

Bit difficult to find due to road works and some diversions but we'll worth the find.. wonderful authentic Indian quinine at reasonable prices. Wonder sweets variety available too. What a great find. Can recommend this restaurant anytime. Come hungry. Also personal attention.

It was not the same that it was past 3-4 yrs back... Prices are so high...and the foods are basic... Staff r not mannered at all... And the area where it is located is closed so really very confusing to reach there .. We used to love this place once upon a time... Would never visit it again

  • 3/5 Asheesh S. 2 years ago on Google
Some nice stuff and ample food options. New interior and looks refreshed. All is good except they offer less chana masala to cover two Parathas 😁😁

  • 5/5 Dafney D. 2 years ago on Google
We ordered 2 south IndianThali n Mysore masala Dosa Good job guys delicious food Keep it up guys 👏👏 Location is a bit an issue lots of construction, if you have your own car be prepared to park a bit far from the restaurant as there is alot if construction going around the area

  • 4/5 Indi G. 1 year ago on Google
The Mahar Street restaurant access is restricted and you need to reach it from the rear as front is blocked by construction. Rear is equally bad, good luck if you find parking due to road works all around the district. Hope it will normalise after about 3 months or so, when construction is over. Call if parking is available before heading there. Food was great as usual.
