Dining at Mr.Idli was a good experience👍..everything I ordered was just delicious… Whether it be Paper Dosa, idli with vada, Pav bhaji.. Coming to prices💵, it was way lower than expected if related to the taste n service.. I really enjoyed the hot served Sambar, the white coconut chutney.. I think they really deserved a good review..

A complete vegetarian restaurant with wide verities of idli & dosa items served in a different way. The service and the quality of the food is remarkable. The ambiance and the interior of this restaurant is wonderful. The staffs are very friendly and helpful in choosing the best dishes from there.

Have tried idli and masala dosa. It was so tasty and the vada as well cooked perfectly fine. I recommend to dine in daily 🤩

Nice idly collection but bit higher price

This is a negative review. Ordered Andra Spicy Idly on 14th May. Was expecting soft melt in your mouth Idli but got a mattresses sliced and sautéed with spices. The idly crust was firm and the inside was rubbery. I want to like this place but they broke my heart. No credit card accepted. Covid lockdown is no excuse for serving days old stale Idli 😞😡

superbb tasty & affordable rate ...i loved the flavours which the provide for masala dosa which was thin & crispy & big we tried a new item from there which was idly tandoori chilly dry fry its superbb tasty & im 1st time trying this food taste same as chicken tandoori..& we tried pani puri set which i had it around 2 set s more ........even now also im feeling that taste .it was also superbbbbbb...even i had these all from other restaurants too except idly tandoori dry chilly fry..........its superb from all other veg hotels which all should try.....actually this restaurant is a small shop but you can sit out side also they have kep tables & chairs for outside dine too.. Only we were disappointed for that they served food & coffee in disposable plates & cups even we had these as dine in thats y for that i shall reduce 1 star ..... only need to change that type of serving...other all are oke.....

Worst place..stinking garbage box is kept near the dining tables..terrible service..they give preference to online customers, walk in customers are second class, highly delayed orders..just for a dosa wait for atleast 30 mins..avoid the place

Simple menu, good taste with good price.

Nice filter coffee. Authentic south Indian Idli, dosa, uttapam. Good quality, adequate quantity, clean and before time. Courteous and efficient staff. Prices are normal. Not expensive. June 14th. 2022. Update. Idili the best ones ever.. Vada..as crispy and delicious as never before. Well.. the filter coffee which I had was good but not the best... After 30 minutes took a parcel home. Kids too had same review. Yes..the filter coffee in parcel also same ...not as good as the one I had an year ago. Hopefully filter coffee is much better next time. Idili and vada are the best I have ever had ....Tip go early and have it freshly mafe around 8 am or 9 am. Super.

Great place for vegetarians, i personally liked the idly options and the medu vada there. The service staff was friendly even on a friday with very heavy crowd. I took the kashmiri chilli idly and normal chilly idly, both awsome !! The medu vada or uzhunnu vada was crisp and we enjoyed it with the chutney. Highly recommended place, i will go there again to try more of their varieties :) . Masala dosa was good and they made it crispy as per our request. Giving a high 5 to the team. See you again !! I will reduce 1 point, just for 1 point, you have to be patient, as it takes a bit more time than usual especially on weekends as its crowded and its a small place. By the way, they place tables and chairs outside, if the weather is good, thats a great place to dine in.

The quality of food is amazing but the service has gone for the toss!!! I usually recommend this restaurant to my family and friends but last two visits were unpleasant… I showed the order taking guy Idly fry(the pic was available in menu card) but what he got was Idly Manchurian… best thing is they refused to accept that it was der mistake instead they sent someone who came and told us that v order wrong!!! As per him, the red Idly in menu card is exactly the same which they served me and asked me to order correctly during my next visit. The cherry on the cake was when I ordered horlicks for my nephew and they got Badam milk… of course I refused to receive and asked them to bring again… (may be I feel, they had that stock already prepared and they want to finish it off by serving u) If u need authentic South Indian food then must visit place but make sure they give u what u need and not what they cook

Maybe it's weekend, we had bad experience. Chutneys were disaster not fresh. Waited more than 20min to get a place to sit inside. We ordered juice and lemon soda, but they didn't provided. The staff is looking as if when we will leave early so that they can accommodate next set of people .

A decent place to eat Indian Street food. Service is quick. Food is reasonably priced. I wouldn't rate food as extremely delicious, but its palatable. Pani puri was not good, but pav bhaji and papdi chat passed the test. The tea was spot on.

Food served here is amazing. They need to update their weekend open hour's. Payment by card not accepted should change as not everyone carries cash.

Truly the best vegetarian restaurant in doha..Variety of idlis and dosas and other vegetarian dishes ..very tasty and very good quality ...chutneys and sambars are the best in town..its a small place but food doesn't dissapoint u a single but and that's very important..wish they open many branches in qatar ..keep going !!

It's very nice restaurant and entirely different kind of menu options, for Dosa and Idli they have more than you can imagine variety options with different taste, We got opportunity to taste about their 10% of options available as per their menu and loved all tastes. If you talk about order portion than it's quite enough to end your craving 🙂. For about price comparison with local market it's well organised. They have 6 family dining table inside and some outside. Only one drawback what I find is that they accept Cash payment only. Overall highly recommended for visit.

From my point of view, it was a convenient restaurant for vegetarians since it had both take-out and dine-in options. The taste was okay, but the quantity wasn't worth the price.

Mr Idli restaurant was one of my best South Indian dining experiences in Doha. The preparation is fresh, hygienic and savory. Had tried the basics here: Idli and Masala dosa but they were extremely flavourful and most importantly not very oily (which happens to be a concern at such eateries). I also tried the weekend special 'Manchurian balls', which pleasantly surprised me. The service was quick and courteous. Extra brownie points to the servers who despite managing a busy outlet greeted us with a smile and apologized for a minor delay. I loved sitting outside enjoying the breeze. However the seating arrangement can be worked upon and improved. I will surely be a recurring customer here to explore their elaborate menu and try newer dishes.
