If you want to taste Ethiopian flavour in Doha, please pay a visit. Especially the coffee.

Spectacular in every way. The food is complex, flavorful, rich and so very delicious. The staff are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. I went twice in the same week. The mesob special is a must order as well as the doro wat and kitfo (raw beef with spices). The coffee is also amazing and comes with a side of spiritual cleansing. To top it off the prices are so reasonable.

Food is teasty ,nice atmosphere ... but take bit time to deliver food. Menu need some details about dishes..

The food in this place is incredible. The staff is friendly. Everything is perfect except on the TV upstairs they were showing a slide show of what I believe was a genocide. Dead bodies while we ate. Maybe the song that accompanied it was about something that happened in Ethiopian history but it was quite disturbing. The food was incredible still.

The variety is beautiful, it's well presented but some dishes - mainly the beef mince didn't taste fresh unfortunately. There was an off taste. Aside from that everything was good. One detail that I didn't like, was we were given a basket of injera (flat bread) without asking, we assumed it was complimentary just as Arabic is in most restaurants. We didn't even need it, what we ordered was enough. When the bill came saw they charged 12riyals for it. It's not much but it's the principle, it's sneaky and a low practice.

I honestly did not like the food at all. The service and atmosphere was great, but my taste palette could not do it. I will admit there were some in my group that loved the food, so perhaps worth a shot. I might’ve ordered dishes that weren’t the best who knows.

We tried three of their dishes. These were served together in a large tray upon the bread. One of it was raw meat (dont recall name of dish). We liked the bottom right one the most. The waitress came to ask us how the food was a d suggested that we try the move again as cooked. She got it back cooked for us and it was delicious as well. It was a memorable experience for my family as it was the first Ethiopian cuisine for us. Great service!

My family and I loved Lion Africans Ethiopian Restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. The food was incredible. We ordered a combo, Doro Wat and coffee. Highly recommended!! I hope this restaurant continues to have success.

Good Eatophian Restaurant 🤗 Actually very small area but have 2 floors. I ordered Vegan Table. And also good coffee. Abians like small street fool. Vegan table was very spicy and very delicious.

The best Ethiopian food in Doha. The order was by phone for pick up. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. When I arrived, the order was ready and a smile made the order even better. The food was amazing and balanced. "Zigne" was a good portion and the "Angera" completed the amazing taste. Parking is finally available and they accept cards or cash. Next time I will dine in for the full review. The decorations are beautiful and very ethnic.

Do you know you can get Injera and othe authentic Ethiopian food items on Talabat from Mesob. Try it ... you will love it!

The food was really delicious but when I requested the check, I was highly dissapointed since the lady added different items than what we had agreed with her and what I had ordered. I paid almost double because of her fault! Be very cautious when ordering something and agree on the items from the menu. There is no guarantee. Even by doing this, you may get a different check.

The best Ethiopian restaurant I have been to outside of Ethiopia. Pure deliciousness!!!

A regular customer for years. Food is authentic and super tasty . Chef and staff are hospitable, welcoming,and attentive. There’s a room for improvement in regards of seating and decorations, that’s why I couldn’t give 5 stars. Keep the good work guys.
