Great location, with plenty of parking space close by. The ambience inside is beautiful. Bright, happy and hospitable staff. A wide selection of different foods. Portions are large. I ordered the southwest omelette, pancake and French toast with fruits. All tasted great, and prices are reasonable. I’d definitely return on a weekend for breakfast.

To begin with, although it’s a Canadian franchise it is not as eggspected. I’ve been to their branch in downtown Toronto and had an amazing experience. I ordered the breakfast extravaganza.. where the egg was not extravagant at all! A 3 year old would make a better omelette. Sausages were tasty but the plate was filled with potato bites. The walnut and banana pancakes were gigantic and yum. Hence, the 3 stars for those pancakes. The french toast was dry and i had to order strawberries, nutella and whipped cream on the side. Same for the pancakes. Coming to the ambience, it’s not great. The staff is courteous and the waiting time isn’t much however, I wouldn’t return to this place again.

Best place to have breakfast all day. I love the variety of eggs. They literally have 3 pages of egg dishes. The ice coffee is delicious too. The portions are great for the value. Quick service. I recommend it if you want a nice brunch on the weekends. It's located at the pearl.

Good breakfast spot while you are at The Pearl. Lots of options to choose from and I actually took a while to finally decide what to get. I ended up getting their french toast as I felt like having carbs and some fruits. The syrup was already “topped” on my order but you can choose to have it on the side. Toast was nicely cooked but I guess I should’ve just gotten the syrup on the side so I could have some control over the sweetness. They have good pancakes and fresh juices as well. Indoor decor is nice, open and spacious perfect even for larger groups.

50 QAR for such a huge salad is a real good price tag. I love the calm atmosphere and the service was friendly and very fast. My recommendation.

This was a very nice place to stop by for breakfast. This was our first time, so both my husband and I got egg dishes (naturally). I really enjoyed the potatoes, and the omelette was pretty good (little bit overcooked but tasted nice). My husband was very pleased with his smoked salmon eggs benedict (finally - a place that can soft poach an egg!). We also ordered juices. Both were very nice, though they needed to blend my green light a bit more (I had to chew at times, which is rather odd). Will return and we recommend it!

I walked in ‘ Egg’specting a menu focused on eggs and ‘Eggs’periments but was surprised by the wide range of food choices that this restaurant offers and that too with a generous portion size. Good food paired with a lively environment and friendly staff is a place my family and I would definitely want to visit often. Sadly, Eggspectation did not quite meet our expectations! Seeing pictures in the reviews is what attracted me to the hotel. It is a cafe designed in the style of an old-fashioned canteen. I like its pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are polite, courteous, and friendly. Unfortunately, some of our orders were inedible, despite the attractive presentation. Not only did the french toast taste like eggy bread, but it was also soggy. I also found the pancakes to be a chest-clenching experience. I finally gave up eating them before I choked on them after several attempts. They are essentially thick, heavy, dry cakes! Though I had been offered a less expensive breakfast, I was still charged full price for the pancake breakfast that I had not eaten!

Have always enjoyed Eggspectation but today was a little let down. Had the Chicken Benedict and unfortunately they had over cooked the potatoes and they really were not very nice. They also over the potatoes on my wife's food as well, we did mention it to them and yes they did cook us fresh potatoes but it did spoil the meal. A big shame, but we will go back again as we have been there many times and always enjoyed our food. So don't be to sown beat about it as we all can make a mistake. Let's hope the next time we visit they cook the potatoes correctly the 1st time.

I went to this restaurant for a company outing and the overall experience was pretty good. The restaurant is located on the Pearl of Qatar so there are a lot of hotels and things to do close by. There is also a lot of parking in close proximity so you want have to walk very far. The food was good and the restaurant staff are friendly. We went on a Saturday (weekend) which was very very busy. We liked the experience and my cousin said that the turkey club sandwich was not that good but the rest of our food was nice. The Waffles 🧇 was good as a dessert 🍨. I personally wouldn’t go again because I felt that the food is heavy for my liking but my cousins who ordered omelette love it and would for sure comeback. Well, food is great as well the ambiance. But this restaurant needs to find a way to be open some time before the Friday prayer, last order is at 10.30am on Friday!!! Which is pretty hard to most of the people to wake up early on their weekend and go make it before 10.30 on place. I wish the management considers this issue as many other restaurants at the Pearl and in Qatar generally, are open just before the Friday prayer (11:50pm)

Eggspectations did not quite meet my expectations. You only ever have one chance at ‘first impressions’. I had a latte to start with; it came in a hot chocolate glass, and it looked and tasted like an americano with a lot of milk. I then had a tropical teaser juice. It tasted of banana mixed with orange juice which was a bit underwhelming. My main dish was California Dreaming (eggs Benedict with smoked salmon). The eggs were fantastically cooked, nice and soft, and the salmon was tasty if only the whole dish had not been so salty. Even the toasted sourdough bread that came with it on the place and the pieces of fruit, which made for a nice decorative effect, were salty. It may just have been a mistake but it felt like the whole plate was showered in salt before serving. The service in the restaurant is nice, efficient and pleasant.
