It wasn't overcrowded and tents/umbrellas were atleast 3 meters apart from the next family or clients' space. ♡ beach opens at 0315pm to 1000pm ♡ swimming allowed until sunset only...after that you can chill and walk around the premise. ♡ playground still not open due to covid restrictions ♡ 18yrs and below gets free access including the nannies (free entry) ♡ adults pay 10 riyals per head ♡ chairs, tent and umbrellas will cost you 5 riyals only (you can also bring your own if you have but still can use theirs when you pay for the tent or umbrella) ♡ you can bring your own food or buy some from the nearest shop around. ♡ life guards are everywhere. ♡ make sure you are vaccinated (or bring your proof of vaccination coz sometimes ehtheraz takes time before it updates) and ehtheraz is GREEN with GOLD square. ♡ porta cabins are available for changing clothes or other hammam business you want to do 😁 ♡ if you want a well lighted area after sunset, best location is near the play area. And a friendly reminder: Although there are cleaners or sweepers around, it will still be nice if you clean up after you. Let's keep the place clean.

Lot of time in evening you can see some cultural programs. 7. Gandola ride with your own cost. 8. Cafeteria and restaurants. If some body asks about its drawbacks, then they are: 1. It is only 1.5km long. 2. People who loves barbeque at beach sides, it is not for them. You can bring your cooked food here and enjoy with family but not allowed to cook at beach.

I nice clean family beach at Katara. It used to be free but now they charge QAR 10-25 per person for beach access and additional QAR 5 per chair if you need to use the lovely wooden sun beds or chairs. It’s nice a quiet during week days, evenings will get busy I suppose.

We love this beach because you have everything there. Playground, tents with chairs payable. Qad 20 for a small tent with 2 chairs and sunbed. Entrance fee during winter is Qad 10 for adults and kids below 17 is free. Talabat, rafeeq delivers at gate 1 so you can get any takeaway there too. Lifeguards are available at each station. The location of each tent is also not that closeby. Weather is nice now for a day at the beach! There is a clean toilet to take shower and change near cafe coretto.

One of the workers in particular (an African, Tanzanian/Zanzibar brother) was extremely professional, supportive and ensured the safety of all visitors on the boat throughout the journey.
