Worst of the worse, poor service and attitude, saw Dr Fateh for disk issues, he couldn't care less and thought of physio therapy as not worth it if pain killers are working fine !! Reception staff at just hopeless. Appointments mean nothing here, you book an appointment week ahead then the doctor will simply not show up or you wait for more than an hour beyound your appointment

Honestly speaking - this hospital is a ripoff. If you compare what you pay with the quality of services provided, you will be deeply disappointed. Take a look at the photo of the bathroom sink taken in the ground floor bathroom. This is not a hospital / medical standard service unfortunately. Doctors in this hospital will overwhelm you with further procedures and check ups, just to keep the money rolling in this business. They are not recommended if you are seeking genuine medical advise.

Facility wise are great and the atmosphere is really like a hotel feel of a vibe, but with luxurious looks comes an expensive charges especially if you dont have an insurance. the premium charges are very expensive. also most staff are helpful but beware on one guy who station as reception on laboratory area, this guy really giving you false information whether the doctor is in or not, chances if you dont as further to other, you'll end up believing the lie of this guy and end up as advise going the next day. so please ask again to other staff if you are not convince with the response of this guy.

I’ve spent 6000 riyals at your hospital and I still have the infection. Every time I come I have to pay full price for the consultation even though it’s the same problem. I understand why I keep getting the wrong treatment because you want me to come back and pay more. 7 different antibiotics and every time it costs 400qar for “consultation” 265qar for a lab analysis that’s a total scam and then the medicine. The lab analysis has shown 3 different bacteria’s at 3 different occasions. It’s not a real lab, it’s just made up so that I will buy your medicine and keep coming back. Absolutely terrible.

Such nasty place that has 0 level of cleanliness in a so called " richest country in the world" . They do nothing to maintain this standard and show 0 respect, customer care to any of the patients and guests! UNBELIEVABLE. So hard to believe this hospital is still operating with the level of hygiene and service. This goes to most of the doctors and staff who always act like they have been under fed and are Hangryyy 99.9% of the time

The most overrated hospital in Doha, staff are not organized and not communicating with each other to allow for a good experience to the patient. Whenever the patient have an issue they push back instead trying to genuinely help and find a solution. I am also very surprised on how long the waiting time is, certainly will never visit again.

Hi yesterday evening I fell and twisted my ankle and it got all swelled up. I was in so much pain that I was not able to put pressure on my foot to walk. This incident happened when we were out at the park with kids. The nearest hospital was Al Ahli . We went to Al Ahli emergency and there was no one there to bring a wheelchair and take me inside. The security came and gave my husband the wheelchair and said you can take her inside. My husband had to park the car on the side of the road and help me hop on to the wheelchair and take me inside while the kids were alone in the car. When we were inside there were no nurses/person to take me from there for the registration process( keep in mind my husband parked in a no parking area and kids were alone in the car). After registration I had to wait for some time so a nurse would come and take me to the emergency ward. When I finally arrived at the emergency ward this is the view of the room I was in. As you can see the level of cleanliness in the hospital. Extremely dirty and unhygienic. Floors were not cleaned properly nor mopped. Most of the hospital areas were extremely dirty even the xray room. The staff there were unhelpful and the Doctor was not willing to talk well or explain much. He just said “your bone is not fractured, the nurse will put a dressing and i will write some medicine”. He just left before i could ask any questions. I do not know if any one experienced this kind of behavior or the dirty rooms. It is very appalling and will never visit this hospital again.

The hospital is not organized nor they have trained staff to deal with public, nurses are very rude and in hurry to finish required tests… Covid test was horrible experience.

Very pathetic!!! I went to the emergency room today with my 6-year-old son, and I spent almost 20 minutes waiting for the doctor to show up. My son was not feeling well, so I left there and went to another hospital. I can see there are almost 20 staff present in the hospital emergency room and not enough doctors to attend patients. They are treating emergency patients like OP patients. I think Dr. Khalid Al-Fakhri (Head of Emergency) should look into it.

Very uncomfortable experience with nurse and reception staff. Entering downstairs, speaking to the first reception they were so unfriendly I was wondering if I committed a crime. Going to the third floor the reception is completely disorganised. 10 nurses and receptionists all chatting loudly, like it’s a night club. I can hardly understand what’s going on. I’m suppose to trust them with my medical data, I wouldn’t trust them at Lulu. Nurse taking my BP asks me what my main complaint is. I’m at the urologist, do I really have to tell a female nurse?

The doctors and nurses are nice and competent, but I'm pretty sure the hospital administration is pressuring them to see too many patients. I booked an appointment specifically in order not to wait, guess what? I waited until 6 even though my appointment was at 5. I don't think I waited this long for an appointment at the busiest public hospital I know, and yet I did at a supposedly 5 star hospital, go figure. Stop forcing your doctors to receive too many patients!

Hospital has a good ambience, very calm and soothing. Lots of plants are there inside. Very clean, sanitized and hygiene. Staffs are friendly. Hospital can be affordable with insurance. There is Eden cafe inside the hospital but very expensive. There is also a flower and chocolate shop. Also an optics shop inside.

Bad experience at Al Ahli Hospital. I went in the morning to Internal Medicine with chest pain, no tests were done, medication given panadol and ibuprofen. Same day evening, after taking the prescribed medication went to emergency with fever 38.3 and worst chest pain. Admitted in, second doctor was good, however i was asked to pay for the second time same day the consultation! When I mentioned this is not fair, since I returned to the same hospital due to incompetency of the first doctor, reception responded 'this is hospital policy, since first doctor is not on shift anymore'! So the hospital policy is to charge you money twice for their own doctors's mistake!

Worst psychiatric department! There used to be a very good doctor there, he has since left. It is now left with docots with no empathy, compassion or professionalism! Once doctor had left, refused appointments and stopped medication cold turkey making me really sick and in crisis. Even when going there for help was treated like a dog off the street, even when collapsed at the clinic the doctors couldn't be bothered to get up out of their offices to help or indeed see the damage they had done! A complete danger to anyone needing mental health help! Absolute disgrace!!! Stay away! ,

The Dr. Ghazi Zbeeb just seat in front of the desk and asked my symptoms. Not even visual or touch checking my signs and conditions. Perhaps he’s scared to get the COVID from me due to I told him I got positive test result while I waited for his consultation. I went to Al Ahli hospital because my 1st visit is a good experience. After this experience in ENT department, I don’t have a faith in this department anymore. The only thing that shows the doctor is generous is he gave a week sick leave I asked for. To recover myself from this sickness.

Very bad experience Before entering, I asked at the reception whether there was a pediatrician, and his answer was yes. On this basis, I paid the money and entered. The nurse received me. She measured the temperature and the baby’s thermometer. Then I sat waiting at the doctor while my daughter was crying. The nurse’s answer was always that she was coming (meaning feminine) and when she increased During the waiting period, another doctor and a man came and did not do anything to her without examining him. He was only trying to withdraw money from us, and for the record, he is not a pediatrician, and my complaint was in a locality i already check pediatricien list in al ahly hospital i didn't find him

My best hospital its from 1989 but it’s still very professional, all the doctors are professional the nurses there take care so good so the patient feel comfortable and so you don’t feel stranger you feel like it’s your home and also there’s a cafe there ( EDAN ) while your waiting you can take coffee and relax

Poor hospital, they can't afford extra pharmacy staff. (Yet they charge you premium). Pharmacy waiting time can reach 1 hour with no problems. Hopefully you don't have high blood pressure.

almost everyday delivers… except for those ladies sitting in the information counter, they are rude never smiles even if you greet them you will never get a response from them… as if it is your fault that they work in that position. Please train them on how to be nice to the clients because they serve as your ambassador of goodness since they sit in that so called information counter.

Previous visits were timely. Just today it was quite frustrating. They ask you to come 30min ealr which i did, i was first in the waiting room, but all others who came after me were called and i’m left..i had to follow up 3x 20min 30min 45min! It was fair to complain why? As i did not come walk-in. i came on 8am appointment. Finally after 1hr i got checked. Haven’t I complained maybe i’ll have to wait more! The first nurse who called me in was very nice apologized as it was quite busy. But the other nurse after the ultrasound was not very assistive just gv pile of tissues and left and back to her mobile sitting down. didnt give a look or even talk. Atleast could hv offered to help remove the wet gown or said where to put or if need more tissue as i was a bit struggling wiping all the wet gel stuffs over from breast to down pelvic. I had my initial test in Hamad hospital and both the radiologist and her assitant helped me wipe all the gel coz i couldnt reach or see where , they helped me wipe. And they tell u what to do or what to expect they talk to you make you feel informed and comfortable. I moved to Al Ahli coz i wanted a faster care and wished it was a ‘better’ care too. It would have been if they’d talk to you and make you feel cared for. I saw the slogan saying ‘ Love is the secret’ i read it but i didnt exeprience nor feel it today in the radio dept. In gyne dept i felt it yesterday. gyne dept was so accomodating and assistive.

The booking system should be improved. I had to call many many time in order to have my physiotherapy booked. Every time they say they will call back, but they didn't. I also wrote an email but never no one replied. This is NOT a sign of respect to customers.

Unbelievably worst customer service. It is impossible to get through to a Doctor, who you met a week back for a follow up appointment. One must call the Call Center, who then send an email to Doctor's office and then the Reception office of the Doctor ignores the message. A very poor anti-customer service Call Center. Supervisors refuse to speak to customers/patients and refer to policies and guidelines. Absolutely no compassion that is required of a Healthcare organisation.

Unfortunately during the last two years, the customer service has really gone down. I have had so many issues with the insurance processes from al ahlis side. Insurance department refuse to let you call them, you get stuck in a loop with call centre and they only allow you to physically come in to follow up on any issues with insurance claims. Today I had an appointment Dr Fauzi in surgery and the wait was delayed by more than one hour due to emergency surgery. The receptionists in the surgery clinc did not call me or any of the other five deyaled patients to inform of of the delay, they also did not inform us of the delay when registering me. They were happy to charge me for the visit and keep a room full of patients waiting. Only after I went down to discuss the issue with customer service did they inform me that their was another surgeon consultant who was totally free and avaible immediately. Communication breakdowns on multiple levels are costing this hospitals patients their time and their health.

I am not a doctor nor i know the protocols of hospitals, but as a patient; I have been to Al-Ahli emergency on several occasions, and most of those times the nurses are amazing. The ER doctors on duty takes a very long time just to pass by to see you and that can be frustrating sometimes. And the doctors should actually listen when the patient speaks and understand what is happening because sometimes the patient actually knows what happened to them. Also, I have faced one negative incident when the nurse lost her patience with me because i was in state of panic and she did not help me go through it, instead she got frustrated and walked away (i asked to check my bp more than 4 times to be fair out of fear it’s going down) but a nurse should not lose her patience at a patient ( especially if the patient was actually respectful ) but i know ER can be really stressful sometimes.

Today is my first time visiting this hospital. The hospital is so pretty and new, the staff from reception, the nurse and the doctors are all great, everyone was polite and willing to assist me, and I can see the smile under the mask through their eyes, that is not normal these days in the hospital. However, when I went to the pharmacy, the Arab lady called my name, and asked me how do I pronounce my name, I told her, and she started to laugh, speaking Arabic to the colleagues, they’re laughing at my name. I’m a Taiwanese, my name is Mandarin. She thought I don’t understand what’s she saying, but I know she was laughing at my name right at my face. It was really humiliating, I felt really bad. I didn’t even know how to tell her, it was so embarrassed. I hope she could respect human beings as all nationalities.

Went to ENT for a follow-up of my daughter. Walked in at 16:55 hrs. My number was 9. My turn came at 19:25 hrs after I made noise and complained to service department. The ENT nurses played with patients numbers. I guarantee. When I told the doctor, he gave me his business card with a FAKE sorry....Disgusting administration and management. Poor service. Can't be worse.

Calls to the hospital are always answered quickly but when I ask to be transferred to the pharmacy customer service ends. I have yet to have the pharmacy answer a call, very frustrating as it is regarding a newly prescribed medication which the have no stock of and I can't even talk to them to get my prescription to try elsewhere for it. I'm sure it is all around money, taking the insurance companies money and not dispensing the medications, that can't be right?

Pros. - The atmosphere is good and the services are available. - Good organization. - Some doctors are excellent, some are good, and some don't deserve to be in the hospital. You and your luck. - The ER doctors are great and very helpful. Cons. - The reception staff answers questions with difficulty and a wooden face. - The procedures after the examination take a long time to review. I went because of a sudden increase in blood pressure. I conducted examinations over of two weeks, and I did not know the reason of the high blood pressure.

Worst Experience Ever!!! From the moment you walk in, you just pay for everything (Registering, tests, and follow-ups). The charge 30 Riyal above each transaction you make on top of the insurance fees. The doctor told me to meet him right after the test and so I did after 30 minutes from the test, then he told me to meet him again after 2 weeks when I came to meet him they said that I need to pay again, although previously I was advised that I do not need to pay for follow-ups, but they considered meeting the doctor after the test by 30 minutes is a follow-up and they charged me again. In addition, the staff sitting at the registery is so rude. I dealt with one Eastern European lady and another Philippines lady at the X-Ray registery they were not nice at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!

AL ahli hospital's slogan is "love is the secret" but in fact the slogan is never met. Every time I go to AL ahli they give stress, problems without solutions even if we complain millions of times. The doctors are good but the system itself is zero. They always ask for money which is not supposed to be paid! They can apologize from now until the end of time but they will never fix the error.

Went to the emergency department, the receptionist exhibits rude behavior at emergency despite it’s for a pediatric emergency. Non empathetic communication and don’t even mind to answer the patient or direct to the relevant desk. I know this is a great hospital with speciality but the management has to seriously do something about the staff. I have been to the hospital several time this is the worst experience today at emergency.

Doctors seem quite ok (been here twice), but processes are poorly organized which leads to delays and frustration. Support and call center staff are disorganized, a lot of duplication, redundancy and again - patient frustration.

Very inflexible- I visited the doctor and had some tests done and because I told him I will be out of the country, he was kind to offer me his number for the result interpretation. I lost the paper with his phone number and called the hospital to give me doctor's number or, if not possible, to send me the interpreted results via e-mail. They said they cannot provide doctor's number( even though I explained them that it is an exceptional situation which the doctor is aware of since he provided the number). They did not want to bother to find a solution. They also refused to provide Interpretation via e-mail stating that "they do not provide those services". Absurd for 2023. I lost my money and time in this clinic

I’ve had several bad experiences at the hospital. Staff can use training. Medical services are ok. Requested medical records and was told it would take a couple of days. It took more than ten days, and records are not secure, just out in the open. It might be a good center for follow ups and simple services, but not true medical services. There aren’t many options around, and one is forced to go to this hospital.

I must say that staff in Al-Ahli hospital were very friendly, professional and accommodating. I had a real bad fall which fractured my hip bone and due to which I had an emergency surgery in Hamad. The doctors in Hamad screwed up the surgery big time just as I feared and I was asked to go for a total hip replacement surgery after 9-10 months of non-recovery. I looked for Plan B and through very careful scrutiny from various well wishers met Dr. Sumukh Arun Khandekar & Dr. Maher Yousef in Al-Ahli hospital. They took time in explaining me what procedure was best for me and assured quick recovery after surgery. The surgery was performed by the same doctors and I recovered within 1-1/2 months and my life is back to normal as before. I thank Dr. Sumukh Arun Khandekar & Dr. Maher Yousef and highly recommend them. Also I would like to thank all the nurses and physiotherapists who took special care of me. I must say again that Al Ahli is one of the best private health care in Qatar with doctors who are very well experienced and you can trust to be treated in best hands.

Samer hamawy is a very good pediatric doctor I trust his notes also diagnoses never give antibiotic if child didn’t need What I didn’t like is the speech therapist dr. Olfa falleh or autism Diagnosis 1- she didn’t provide a report for the diagnosis she said the he has something in month but don’t need surgery And it is not important (what was it I don’t know) however we speak same language Arabic 2- directed us to pediatric sycology in ahli which is was not for less than 5 years to have the correct diagnosis (she didn’t know this information till we reach) 3- she directed us to a private center after 4- doctor was friendly but not professional 5- honestly I won’t recommend this service as I get nothing and the best way is to call ur insurer in my case QLM and ask them for recommendation for the case they will help even if it is not insured

Our favourite hospital in Doha for many many years now, but the service we got today from Janell was extraordinary that made want to post a review and pictures about the hospital.. The glitter idea on casts is an initiative that the orthopaedic clinic nurses started and it's amazing 👏🏽

Worst behavior from Orthopaedic department , nurses doesn’t know how to behave with visitors. My appointment got canceled and got call from hospital to come 12pm, after waiting 1 hour in hospital I asked nurse how long will it take to visit doctor, the reply i got from nurse was that if i can’t wait then proceed to reception and book an appointment.

This is a business place, not a health center. They have a business relationship with IOM. They are trading people's lives. They don't care about people's lives. They only care about money. There are no doctors here. They are all butchers. They just sell people's lives and blood because they have contracts with private companies.

When the consultation is around 500 qar/ 170$ , you expect at least to have treatment. But no. You just west your money. Without talking about all kind of x-ray and tests they request, and then nothing. Hospitals usually is for treating people not for making money guys. Ok, make it a business but at least try to help
