I had very good dining experience here, from booking, reception, services and of course for the view. We had sunset tea (4-6pm). Size is for one person but we can have it for two with other dessert ordered from the menu. The view is fantastic over the museum, across west bay and Doha skylines. We can also see Ras Abu Abboud Stadium (World Cup 2022). Choose outdoor seating so you can have a pod for your own. The indoor seating is beautiful with millions of hanging jiwan-like balls (perfectly round white pearl). Recommended.

There is a fixed menu at 120 qr (nowhere back in Europe you would eat at this price for such a high level!). From start to end everything is delicious. The camel and chickpeas salad has a crunchy touch. It is very tasty. It is surely one of the highlights on this menu. The lamb is so tender you don't need a knife! Served with grilled fennel and dates it is indeed on of the best lamb I have ever eaten. The rice byriani is lovely, the snacks before the salad are well presented. The desserts are nice too and I could not finish everything. We left happy!

Had an awesome dining experience here during a layover on Qatar Airways. Truly enjoyed the Jiwan Menu tasting experience which came paired with three mocktails, tea/coffee, and water. Come hungry because it’s a lot of food; I especially enjoyed the fish harees and raspberry mahalbaia. The service was friendly and professional and the ambience is classy yet comfortable. Would definitely return!

A must to try if you like fine cuisine or/and if visiting the Qatar National Museum. The restaurant is currently running on a Soft Opening and we were told that the official opening will be end of March 2020. The afternoon tea at 80QAR for 2 is just a bargain! It includes 3-4 desserts, hot drinks and water. The food, a fusion of Arabic/Qatari classics and french cuisine, is perfect. The view of West Bay and the museum from the roof top just add to the experience. Can't wait to go back for diner this time!

What an unexpected delight. The Jiwan Restaurant was difficult to get to even after arriving on the museum compound, but what a treat awaits the perseverant explorer. I happened there during the amazing FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar because I wanted great photos and a culturally rich experience. I knew to expect amazing sights and sounds while in Doha, but I didn't know what incredible tastes and smells would also be experienced. The décor in this fine dinning establishment is world class. Every detail of the restaurants feels as immaculately curated as the exhibits themselves. The tournament inspired menu featured carefully selected course that were both local in origin and familiar to tourist. The taste, texture and exquisite service of each course was beyond memorable. My party and I are so glad that we had the opportunity to experience Jiwan. It seems everything there was mandated by Supreme Legacy and it certainly lived up to the mission.

Jiwan’s menu uses seasonal ingredients and you can expect contemporary Arabic dishes such as harees, madroba, balaleet, hummus and sambousek, as well as desserts like luqimat and muhalabiya. Everyone recommends trying the harees, a porridge-like dish made of whole wheat. Jiwan adds barracuda to it along with ghee on top. It’s the perfect savory comfort food.

This is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to - and not just in Doha. I would literally not change a thing about it - everything about it was literally perfect, from the location and the view from their gorgeous outdoor dining area, to the service and their beautifully curated take on Qatari food. We ordered the set menu for lunch, and they went above and beyond to accommodate for the fact that I am lactose intolerant. There were beautifully presented, well thought-out dishes that were also dairy free for every one of the several courses they serve in the set menu. My husband doesn't have any food allergies and he got the courses that they normally serve, and he loved every single one as well. Our server, Nicole, was polite, kind, attentive and had a great amount of knowledge about everything that was being served to us. The food arrived extremely quickly to our table as well, and it was so apparent that a lot of thought and literal love had gone into making each dish. To complete the image of perfection, every single staff member made us feel like we were literally the only people there, looking after our every need and just generally being extremely polite and kind. It was an absolute pleasure to be introduced to Qatari food in this way, and I would highly recommend this restaurant for anything ranging from meeting up with friends for a long, leisurely lunch or coffee with desserts, to a lovely date night.
