Disappointing experience. Selected a necklace, while payment they refused to accept Diners club saying the charges are more for the card so they don't accept CBQ's Diner Card. On their reception they have a CBQ pamphlet displayed with Diners club and other bank cards details. When I mentioned as per the Baladiya this is not approved, the store supervisor Mr. Alappat was saying, please go-ahead and complain but they will not accept the card or else there will be excess payment of more than QAR 300. I was shocked to see them behaving like a roadside small grocery shops. We left the place and also later noticed that their making charges is extremely high even though they advertised themselves as lower making charge. Pathetic service from the store supervisor Mr. Alappatt. I lodged a complaint with CBQ and now going to lodge a formal complaint with the Baladiya for rejecting a bank card issued by the Qatar Bank. Their making charge was QAR 30.9 per gram, in fact none of the near by shops were having such high making charge for similar chain. It was good we didnt buy from them and went to another shop and purchased and then realized Kalyan Jewellers were charging high on making charges. These jewellery shops takes extremely high profit and should not behave such low and cheap.

It's a fine place to buy jewellery but they only have limited options. Availability of things are less but it indeed is a good place. It cannot be called mediocre but lakes in things like cleanliness . The courtesy here is great and on going...

Last week I went to your D-ring road lulu mall Kalyan jewelry outlet, I was asking the person at bill counter to explain about the chit scheme available… he directed me to some person at counter . when I asked him to explain doubts his body language was so rude … he don’t have manners how to behave … I asked him to give the pamphlet he said that pamphlets are not given to anyone. I don’t understand their intention… Literally worst service… won’t go to Kalyan again

I like to give zero star ratings but.... worst customer service i ever seen in any jewelry shops in Qatar rude senior salesman & salesman manager.. they don't know how to deal with customers.... they don't want to sale their products.... if want to buy buy otherwise leave like that they are treating the customers.....worst Kalyan jewelers branch (Barwa branch) in Qatar. try to change this behavior otherwise nobody will buy anything in this branch.....

I have went inside the shop more than 15mins waited no salesman asking what you need. I have told to 2 salesman im looking for bangle he asking to wait . In that time not too much crowd only 4 customer were there. I will never ever vist again.

Dear sir, Greetings of the day... This is to bring to your notice that today I went to kalyan jewellers @barwa branch to purchase the gold. As I took the scheme for 6 months which was suggested by the branch team in December month & I paid the amount for 6 month & as this is my 6 month which is being completed. As I am going on vacation by 30th may of this month, i informed that I will purchase the gold now under the scheme but the branch manager refuse to give me the gold under the scheme and informed me that your scheme is not completed & he didn't cooperate with me & even the staff & return back my amount. Is this the way the kalyan jewellers are treating to the customer by promoting the scheme to the customers. I totally disappointed with the service which kalyan jewellers are giving to me & will inform my family & colleagues as well not to buy anything from them. Thanks for giving me the bad service. Hopefully one day you will realise what you team has done.

The customer service wasn't good. We waited inside for 10 minutes and there was no acknowledgement. We infact left the store and no one even noticed.

I went to buy one pawan(soverign) of gold and staff was showing off like they are in a perpetual hurry and not bothered about customers who come to buy small amt of gold. I have seen other kalyan jewellers showrooms and it was good. Only this one i felt bad. Barwa village in doha qatar. They have very less collections. I hope kalyan will improve collections there.

We visited the barwa village branch. Variety and unique collection of jewelry. The customer service is excellent. They are very reasonable at making charges. The staff are polite and offer professional service. They have some good schemes for saving money and then buying gold during festival times.

Customer Service is very bad because of below reasons: 1. They don't provide sufficient time for the customer to select our required jewellery. The fact is, Customer service ordered us (not requested) to speed up the purchase. 2. They are not polite with customer who wants to buy less cost jewellery and showing partiality (rich and poor category) and treated us like cheap customer.

Recently visited this place... parking , ambience, customer service is good however making charges are bit overstated compared to their competitors i.e. Malabar, Joyalukkas etc .

Variety of latest designs is limited, labor charge is very excessive. Quality of gold is good. Not highly recommended but can check with other places before buying gold ornaments.

Friendly staff, easy parking, making charges are bit high. They give you a huge making charge first then give you a discount as well like routine, do not make any sense.
