I have visited this clinic with my puppy four times so I had to take their overall service into account. I have paid for their vaccination, consultation and full grooming service. Pros- The prices are competitive and they have pet care products Cons- The consultations are like hit or miss, the doctor did not diagnose the issue with my puppy correctly. But he provided a medicine to reduce the symptom. Grooming service was a waste, they make you fill a form with the details required and the groomer would not look at the form but would recommend alternative option (mostly to make his/her job easy). Of course I went with an appointment but again I was overbooked. Always crowded and when I take appointments they overbook. So for a 3 minute vaccine shot, at 10am I had to wait roughly 30 minutes. Once the receptionist failed to register my appointment date even though I visited the clinic a day prior to fix the appointment (went to buy pet-food). Once they asked me to show my Ehtheraz app and then the last time i visited they did not ask me the show the app. Too many inconsistencies with the reception Recommendations- Improve customer service, quality of care, provide sensible feedback. Low prices will pressure the clinic to reach max capacity and put undue stress on staff. Either increase price or capacity or both.

I am not recommending this vet clinic to anyone. My cat was sick so I visited them 5 times within 14 days with 4 different doctors and they couldn’t know whats wrong with my cat .. now and after late diction to do a blood test (which defined the problem) he is in their hospital and as per the doctor his chance is 50% to survive. And really I don’t know why they didn't decide to do the test earlier! After I kept my cat in their hospital I was calling them everyday to check what’s going on with my cat I was calling like two times asking for doctor to call me back and he was calling me after long time .. 3rd day I asked them to send me a video of my cat they said the assistan will do but I didn’t receive anything. I went to take my cat and I sent him to another pet clinic. Update: unfortunately the other clinic found that my cat had eaten a balloon which blocked his stomach for 14 days so they did a surgery for him but he couldn’t make it as he was very weak after 14 day’s suffering with pets care clinic’s doctors who couldn’t figure it out and he passed away 😢

Don't deserve bad treatment

Good vet clinic at the centre of Doha. Very helpful and welcoming staff, all of them whether they are receptionist, nurse, help boy or cleaning staff. Drs are very caring and handle the cats very genuinely. Treatment is correct and moderate pricing. They have pet accessories, food, medicine, carriers and toys. They bigger place recently. For procedures better to take an appointment. For consultation, preferably go in the afternoon before 4pm, after that little crowd, you need to wait.

On 30 April 2022, we brought our cat for grooming, which included nail trimming and the shower. During the grooming one of the nail was cut very deep (almost removed). During the shower, our cat was meowing in a very unusual way. The gentleman who was showering the cat was absolutely without any care, as if he was washing a carpet but not a cat. We were asked to leave the room, whereas we could hear our cat’s screams, which is very unusual since he is an extremely calm natured cat. After they gave us our cat, we noticed his nail in blood. When we returned the clinic for to show the issue, the groomer told us it happened during shower. The real problem here is, he did not tell this to us after the grooming, we figured it ourselves in the car.. We drove back and showed it to the Vet for applying some antiseptic and cleaning of the wound. The staff had to inform us about this incident instead of hiding it. We are extremely disappointed by the lack of professional manners of the staff

Dr Saleem is amazing. Truly the first veterinarian I’ve met that doesn’t care about the money and cares more about the health of our pets. The old pets care isn’t at all like this one. It’s now bigger, cleaner and the staff are a lot better.

Pros - their prices are good. The vets are good. Biggest problems - communication between the vet and reception, the receptionists general incompetence, first come first serve basis (no more appointments), zero accountability on their behalf when they make a mistake. Why I am switching clinics, even if it means I will have to pay more. - My cat had her rabies vaccination, followed by a successful blood test (800 riyals). I was on date with her other boosters and always read the pet card carefully. When it appeared that my cat was due another booster - rabies - I called to book an appointment. The receptionist said that my cat was not due anything. I asked a further two more times - 'are you sure? it says on here....' the receptionist said no, my cat had all her vaccinations and boosters and didn't need another rabies. The clinic are the experts, not myself, so no appointment was made. Fast forward a few months later when I bring along my other cat to have his shots, I had also brought my other cats card with me so that I could ask the vet some questions about my cats vaccinations. The vet was like 'why didn't you bring your cat for her rabies booster?' I explained to him the phone call I had with the receptionist. He then told me that receptionists make mistakes and don't know what they're doing (this was worrying to hear - if this is common, then do they need more training? Why speak ill of your coworkers?) The vet went on to explain that my cats blood test (800 riyals) will no longer be valid. I challenged this - as this is the clinics fault they should offer her a free blood test. This was not a small mistake, but a really expensive one. They offered to backdate it - then changed their mind, then when passed up to their supervisor the supervisor simply said no. No accountability, no care. Furthermore, the receptionist then LOST that blood test document that I was challenging (800 riyals). They informed me they can easily email through a copy, of which they never did - and again I will have to chase this up. I would rather pay more at another clinic, knowing in confidence that the vets and receptionists work as a team, and that the receptionists know what they're doing. I also read through the other reviews. It is a running theme that the reception is very bad. I would no longer recommend this clinic. Huge shame because I was initially happy with the clinic.

It is an excellent clinic, try to visit during the week not weekends, to avoid waiting. I would like the thank Dr. G for treating my cat so tenderly. He is so efficient, knowledgeable, calm and kind. Also thanks to his assistant Sharif, who made my cat feels so comfortable. I will always go there.💜

I had a frustrating encounter with this veterinarian who refused to treat rescued street kitten unless I paid for tests that were already conducted by another vet. This policy seems more focused on profit than genuine care for animals in need. Disheartening experience overall.

Called in the morning to set up appointment. Brought Ruffa noontime for microchip and spaying. At 330pm got a call that she’s ready for collection. Quick and efficient staff. They have 2 adorable dogs that would greet you when you arrive just melt your ❤️. Thanks for making it all easy for this anxious cat mom.

We are very happy with the excellent service we have received from the Al Waab branch, Dr Jay has been so professional in what he has done for our Labrador. His staff have been amazing and we are happy to have all the staff look after our pets.

ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. I have been taking my dog to this clinic for about the last 7 years, and I have had many many horrible experiences. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Firstly, I took my dog there for boarding (doggy hotel) for about a month; when I picked her up, she was COVERED in ticks and other parasites, and she was terrified. Second of all, recently my dog has developed a mammary tumor and I consulted a doctor at this clinic, and at another branch of Pets Care in Al Waab. Both doctors were extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. He took her for a blood test and later called us with the results telling us she’s in perfect condition to have the tumor removal surgery, and immediately had us book a surgery appointment for the next day. We decided to get a second opinion and third opinion where the doctors told us her blood test results were very bad and that she would most likely not survive the surgery. A different doctor at another clinic decided to double check her blood count and found out that her previous results that were taken at Pets Care Clinic were highly inaccurate. I have almost never had a good experience at Pets Care Clinic in the last 7-8 years. The receptionist is rude, the doctors don’t know what they’re talking about, and almost everything is just about money. This doctor was willing to risk my dog’s life as if her life was worth nothing, without even informing me of any details or important information. I will not be going back here.

Pets Care Veterinary Center is a really good vet but they need to Improve some things such as focusing in the client and their needs. They somehow treat their clients dry and sometimes they become careless,but in general they are great with pets they also offer special discounts for stray cats. Last but not least their prices are reasonable.

I've been coming to this clinic almost for 3 years. This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. What kind of veterinary tells you, "There is no hope in this cat and we can't do much to save him" this was his exact words. Please, if you are incapable of doing your job, then QUIT. I went to a second vet to get an opinion and they did not even say what your DOCTOR/VET says!! At least, with this new vet center, they gave our kitten a fighting chance and HOPE! I will never recommend anyone this Veterinary Center.

Very nice and I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional care my pet receive at this pet care vet! The veterinarians here are knowledgeable and skilled, they also genuinely care about the well-being of my pets. The attention to detail and thoroughness of their examinations always put my mind at ease. What truly sets this vet clinic apart is their wonderful reception team. The receptionists are friendly, welcoming, and incredibly organized. They handle appointments efficiently, making sure that I never have to wait long, and their warmth always makes me and my pets feel valued as clients.

kudos to the reception of this vet. I wonder how hard they work is. We came here earlier to groom our pet, the receptionist are nice and very professional. One guy came and caused a chaos, he want the receptionist to allow him to do a consultation for 2 cats and charged him for 1 cat only. The receptionist are trying their best the explain to that crazy guy but the guys doesn't listen to them. He even say that the receptionist are stealing money from by just doing their job. If want a discount you can talk and ask properly. Kudos to their loyalty and dedication to their work and kudos to the management for acting fast. We hope that guy will learn his lesson. He doesn't know how to respect even the police is already there, he seems doesn't even care. It is obvious that he's just making a scene so the clinic will follow what he wants. What an arrogant guy!

The wait time is very long. Clinic looks nice and big I think if was recently renovated. A lot of staff just waiting around standing. My cat just had a small issue so the doctor didn't take a long time. Didn't really take time to explain I had to ask questions to get more information

The clinic is clean and staff&doctor is ok but the prices is up than another clinics , always i cut my cat’s nail at vet clinic and pay 20-25 but at them they do for 50 (double).check up for 100-120 at them for 150 ..so I don’t think I will back to them again

ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY. Save your time and go somewhere else, they don’t care about animals. We brought a rescue kitten in a very bad state. Before coming to pets care, we went to 3 other clinics they tested the cat and gave the medicine necessary but they didn’t have space to admit and isolate her as she is FPV positive. Arriving in pets care they told is that they need to re do the tests because their diagnosis is different and its the policy… Every excuse is good to charge things that are not necessary, it also doesn’t make any sense. And because this is not enough, the staff is very rude, no space to discuss. We didn’t even had the chance to talk about it with a doctor.

Amazing place to bring your pet for cats and dogs for check up and grooming, amazing doctors and staff especially the reception lady miss Diana she was really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended ❤️

I had reallyyyyy bad experience, literally I was in other clinic and I made test for fpv and my cat was positive but the clinic he used to go to is full and I came there , they wanted to make again test even tho I brought to them the test , all they care about money , and they hospitalized my cat there he was doing fine until he went there, and they don't even want to send pictures of the cat unless if I called them multiple times and when I went to see him he was soooo dirty , I kept asking Dr boni what he give my cat and he dosent give clear anwer, and dosent twll me what my cat status is until my cat died there . I won't recommend anyone to bring there pets there is was horrible experience .

The Indian man working on the reception is very bad in dealing with customers. He does not welcome the client and does not facilitate the process of persuading the client to do a medical treatment for the pet. Today, we went to the center and after dealing with the employee, we refused to complete the deal with you.. He refused to put my cat to shave and return after two hours to receive the cat with putting the personal card as a mortgage and putting a cash amount as a deposit until I return to receive my cat .. We were not spoken to in a tactful way. You will not come back next time.

Very bad experience . I went for checkup and even with providing information ( cat doesn’t eat hair falls a lot and lost weight ) dr boni didnt do a full checkup which includes test before giving vaccination. After first vaccination my cat fell sick 6 days now ( vomit and no energy doesn’t eat ) dr boni only did quick check up for physical body. I was surprised because it’s my first time bringing my cat. He quickly looked for anything in his body to just give medicine and take money I went to another vet and they discuss the terms of financial beofre providing anything . they recommended pvf test it turned positive. My cat is getting treatment right now because an unprofessional mistake was made by dr boni I asked the other vet if they give vaccination right away. They said no, a cat should be kept 7 days isolated before vaccination. Why he didn’t do test before vaccination!! I’m very upset and disappointed and will never come back. Please avoid this vet if u value ur pets life. I had other encounters aswell and 3 cats of my family died in this vet

Great pets for both animals and humans. Best prices in Doha also. The special discount for the streets cats makes a lot of difference. Doctor Ron is wonderful, I cannot recommend her enough.

I have been bringing my cats here for a few years now and I have had only the best service. The custom service is prompt and efficient. They also have a large shop with Royal Canin food, travel crates, toys and various pet accessories.

My cats were neutered here. Overall, they did a good job. However, the evening staff at the reception need to speed up things.

I can't comment on their grooming service because I never requested it at their clinic, but I can say that they're great when it comes to other care services, especially Dr. Jay. I have a cat with some delicate chronic conditions that require frequent treatments including hospitalization, and it's so far the only place I could afford while the other clinics asked for unreasonable amounts to keep the cat for a few days. I'm also fully satisfied with their treatment plans. Mimi feels better since she is treated at Pets Care.

I came with a small kitten to this vet. Soon the employees took good care. The doctor was very helpful. Everyone was in good mood. I bought a carrier and a litter box for the cat.

Hi, I am one of Hilal Pet Care's longest serving clients and they take care of a lot of my cats. Very friendly, receptionist and nurses mostly doctors, good explanation of what happens to the cats, I gave it 5 stars
