    Really very bad experience with the hotel and qatar discover. Specially the Swiss-Belhotel as there was no room available on the time of my arrival ๐Ÿ‘ even after booking it 1 month early... As the hotel was blaming on qatar discover and qatar discover blaming on hotel service I didn't know what to say on it. The hotel make me wait for 2 hrs 30mins for room to get ready...and also made me wait in an basement parking lot as they said you have booked the room fr quarantine package so u can't wait in lobby.. really very poor service provided I will never suggest Swiss-Belhotel to anyone.

    Booked a city tour for my family because of a long layover. Upon arrival was told that a pcr test is required despite being fully vaccinated and boosted. And of course the tour is non refundable. Nowhere on their website does it say that you need a PCR test. Total scam.

    Never seen such irresponsible organisation being the only business which sow profit during Pandemic. No response to any of the queries while travelling.Asking for refund is considered a Sin and they dont give any respect to the customer. People spend their hard earned money on Discover Qatar as they don't have any option and its high time Govt. interfere as it is spoiling Qatar's name as well.

    I am really disappointed ๐Ÿ˜ž. My wife been send from airport to home for quarantine. And discover qatar detect 10% from the hotel Booking and 149Qr for transportation. While they mention that we will get fully refund on the time reservation. Also your refund request processed in 60 days!! While they ad them self as one if the best companies in the world ๐ŸŒŽ Update itโ€™s over 90 days and I didnโ€™t receive my refund. Fastest grow company in the world. Has the slowest system in the refund I ever experience in my life

    As per their policy the refund can take up to 60 days, for me itโ€™s been 70 business days and still waiting for my money... have been calling every week but always hearing okay we will remind the finance to proceed with your refund... I am really disappointed, I highly do not recommend anyone to book through them.

    The worst customer service call center ever... very rude stuff with no attitude and I donโ€™t know how they donโ€™t have People who speak Arabic because when I requested for someone who speaks Arabic ..someone with a broken English answered my call no and they take forever to proceed your request....this company needs a lot of improvements

    Poor customer service and follow up, they said the refund will take 60 days and I've been waiting for more than 75 days and still i didn't get my money!!! I'm chocked cause usually big companies will care about the sincerity and the cs.

    Simply put, horrible. Even cheap road side motels will offer you better service. There was no room available when we reached hotel around 10 pm even though we had booked it 45 days in advance. Had to wait in the lobby for 3 hours. When we finally got a room it was devoid of all the common amenities like Bath towels/robes, hand sanitizers etc. It took 9 calls to the reception and 10 hours to get a bath towel. Speaking of reception, they answer the calls only every 30 to 40 attempts and so is the room service. They don't even have 10% of the minimum required staff and it gets worse in the after hours. Coming to food, it inedible. Worst hotel experience in my life. Please do yourself a favour and never book with bently luxury hotel & suites

    very bad experience from discover Qatar .we lost so much money because of the lack of proper system.we booked hotel two times and cancelled automatically because of their system error and they said that it will refund after 60 days.new on arrival rules are under discover Qatar ;but they can't manage it properly and so much people suffer difficulty because of this. very disappointed service provided from discover Qatar.

    Very poor service, inhuman attitude We booked a room for 2 people in hotel Victoria 2 weeks back. Today we reached Qatar at 2.00 am and after the immigration we reached our quarantine hotel Victoria around 3.00 am. Few people were already seated in the lobby and we were informed that due to unavailability of rooms we need to wait in the lobby till 9.00 am in the morning. The receptionist also said that he had informed Discover Qatar in the morning for which they did not respond. How inhuman attitude. No travelers should experience this.

    I contacted them for visa and they said with hotel booking you will get visa. Later sent only the hotel booking and when asked about the visa. They said with this you will get entry and visa. LIARS. Giving wrong information and taking the money before booking and later denying to refund. They said Ehteraz approval is not sufficient need hotel booking and taken the money. They also lied and were forcing to book more days otherwise I will be penalized. All wrong information and spoiling Qatar and Qatar airways brand.

    This has to be the WORST ever!!! I don't understand how such a great government like QATAR would agree with such a rip off. This agency snatches money off without our consent. We are forced to give a ransom amount, just so we can come back to our homeland and save our visas. I have always LOVED this country and I'm so proud of it. We had asked for home and ended up getting hotel quarantine despite having medical issues. For a family of 5, it was a great loss. If Qatar wants to ensure health security there are better ways. I learned about how the UAE government has allotted a flat for the returning families with free food and accommodation. It's not impossible for Qatar. We had asked for refund of hotel qurantine but still no news. Just know this, the money we paid, doesn't belong to you and we are not satisfied with it.

    VERY DISAPPOINTING! Its been more than 2 months since we was sent for home quarantine from the airport, but until now we are not receiving the refund of 4500 QR that we had to pay for the hotel just to be registered to the flight to Doha! Meanwhile we are not getting any respond from them when they will return the money. Its totally unacceptable! For the moment it looks just like a robbery, sorry...

    One of the worst booking office in Qatar, They do not even have an office to approach them,when asked for my refund they do not have a reply and said they are helpless and send an email to them. They are not responding to my email now. THIS ACT MUST BE REPORTED TO RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITIES IN QATAR. IF NO ACTION THEN CUSTOMER COURT. This is the only way.

    Discover Qatar is applying penalties/charges as if business as usual and there is no Covid19. At the time of booking I was told that, if at the time of arrival the authorities opted for house quarantine, a full refund will be made. To my surprise, my refund was less by 10% plus the transportation fees of QR.141 per passenger which to me is a clear rip off

    Worst service ever..mocking people like anything.. Its been over 70 days since i cancelled my hotel booking..for past 5-6 days i have been sending continuous emails regarding my refund and no response from their side. But for an email regarding a new booking, i got reply within few hours itself which clearly shows that they are purposely ignoring the emails regarding refund.

    Seems like almost everyone is disappointed by DQ services. Their refund process is so complicated. Still waiting for my straightforward refund for more than 2 months now. Seems like it will take another 3 months. The quarantine services were extremely poor during covid time. Unfortunately couldn't find anything positive about them.

    They show least interest in all support services execpt booking services. I still haven't got a genuine reply even after repeated follow-up regarding my refund process even after 60 days and still counting 80th day. I strongly recommend to get a confirmation from them by email for proof because they have very poor customer service over phone

    Worst company in Qatar. Avoid to come to Qatar until the goverment stop working with them to pass the quarantine in their hotels. Customer service useless. Theyยดve stipulated the refund in 60 days and I've been waiting for more than 100 days and still i didn't get my money!!! Nobody gives you a solution.

    DONT BOOK SARAYA TOWN HOTEL QUARANTINE NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE IS. I booked quarantine for two for a fraction cheaper price than most five star hotels like Intercontinental/Wyndham, we are now stuck in this awful hotel for next two days. 1. The room given is for single occupancy and we two have to squeeze in to this. 2. The service is appalling, actually it doesnโ€™t exist. Several calls for basic requests such as towels water and tea are totally ignored. 3. We did not get our lunch and got dinner delayed by over an hour, although food was ok but served totally chilled. I will raise a complaint against the hotel and discover Qatar at the MOCI.

    They hypocritically address us as dear valued customer, though they apparently do not value a customer from a holistic point of view and rather just from a money making point of view. The approach was impersonal, unreasonable, devoid of empathy and tactically high handed. The response to the request displayed the apparently regular strategical approach of callousness and shortsighted profit making and exploitation intent with no regard to genuine customer care or satisfaction.

    It was a pleasant detour and if you love the quick sightseeing I highly recommend it. Tour was about $27 and I think itโ€™s worth every penny. This was a transit visa tour where we didnโ€™t have to book accommodations so I think I dodged a bullet. A lot of people are complaining about how poor their services are. We have very minimal contact once we left the airport. I think transit visa tour is worth it.

    Terrible booking portal, constantly leading to technical errors. In-person customer service unavailable. Ridiculous waiting times on call. Incompetent staff, ready to put you on hold or disappear from the call to add to your misery. Supervisors not available even upon request. Customer service email non responsive even after 24 hours.

I was forced to book hotel room through this agent (DQ ) for family quarantine but as GCC National it decided at the airport not required for which means they never checked in the hotel therefore I was promised that the funds will be refunded within 60 days and now itโ€™s been over 90+ days and nothing credited to my account despite my follow up emails and calls ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

    I have booked 14 Day stay at MUKAINIS / Quarantine Accommodation for a friend. The hostel facilities are very mean an substandard. Since the service is provided by Qatar Airways, we expect some standard to the service they provide ... Very much disappointed...

    Bad experience as well. Booked Qatar airways ticket Djibouti- Doha as there are only few airlines flying out of Djibouti and not every day, and I booked my way through Doha to Dubai. They didn't accept me on the flight to Doha in Djibouti because I had my own hotel reservation in hotel in Souq Waqif ( wanted to stay for one day and explore Doha as I have never been), they told me your passport needs hotel booking only from DiscoverQatar. And I am GCC resident. Showed my hotel booking and return ticket to Dubai. Was only going to stay for 1 day in Doha. Airport agent shared his internet data so I could connect and book, their website is horrible, showed me no hotels available. They didn't accept me for the flight because of that Discover Qatar reason, had to request refund for flight tickets and hotel. A lot of inconvenience was qaused.

    One of the worst experiences when I booked through Discover Qatar. The hotels are substandard, even though they charge a huge amount from us. They don't provide us with the facilities for the money we pay them. Due to this, many hotels needs to be removed from the list. Discover Qatar should take responsibility and ensure that the customers are getting what they deserve and not some substandard inhumane services.

    Discover Qatar is cheating. Paid for 2 days but was asked vacate after one day from Aleph. More over it is business to help the Hotel management. Food and services very poor quality. Bed sheets are not changed. Disappointed but no redressal service only grab money with this reason. I hope they stop this cruelty or a better agency should take over who provides good service. For refund I have been waiting from July 2021.Only call center guys answer with no reply to email. No action to refund the money till now. We are helpless and disappointed as the authorities are not bothered.to look at this service or feedback from public.

Itโ€™s our hard earned money, donโ€™t fool people and keep sending emails with fake promises! Really disappointed with this travel company. One of the worst companies we have come across so far.     We booked Double tree hotel due to some reason they changed to Aleph when we landed here we thought we would get best services but it's totally opposite here. It is one kind of worst service I have ever seen. No food service properly no coffee nothing seems like we should bring our own food or order online. I won't come here again even if they give free of cost. Room and amenities are fabulous but above mentioned are also need to be considered...

    Warning: Please don't book Hilton doubletree from discover Qatar the service is worst and once you reach hotel early morning then you need to wait until 12PM ( rooms are fully occupied you need to wait) which is the actual check in time mentioned in the T&C discover Qatar so hilton follows that and you wont get a room before 12PM. Even for food you need to remind them. Been a Reputed Hilton the excel service is missing.

    I booked 2 ways tickets to qatar and hotel stay in Hilton, they did not allow me to enter and told I need to book the hotel via discover Qatar option! Website did not work and I was on the hold more than 30 minutes and they did not answer the call. I could not take a flight! Stupid strange system

    Really painfull. Am calling discover Qatar customer service for Visa On arrival cancellation at 44237102 & they are asking me to contact another number & giving me same number!! Second time calling they take the phone & hold, and not even telling name of executive attending!! And Wellcome home 44237999 says contact 44237102 and no one responsible! No other contact number or no office, once you paid & you didn't get Ehtraz approval you will lose all the amount!!

    Do not own up to the mistakes they make, and have the unsuspecting tourist pay for it. Booked a hotel with them; paid for a five star hotel which was confirmed. Were sent to the hotel in Doha only to find out that there was no booking there. Discover Qatar changed the hotel to an inferior hotel afer wasting some three four hours. Had no choice but to stay there as the hotel was already paid for. When complained about it, Discover Qatar did not own up to the mistake they made, and refused to do anything about it. Discover Qatar is a Qatar Government department, and if they do not provide for the services as paid by tourists, then there does not seem to be anyone left to complain to. Hence my review.

    Discover Qatar is a third party vendor which in my opinion should be taken out. Lack of knowledge, wrong info, jacking up visitors prices is very common here. Visitors should be allowed to make their own reservation directly with establishments for their own satisfaction.

    I wish I could give 0 stars. I don't think I've ever dealt with a more dishonest and fraudulent company. Completely using COVID as a method of extracting money from customers with no customer service. I have spent hundreds just calling this company and being put on hold for hours, almost like it's company policy? To people coming to Qatar for the World Cup, you must avoid this company.

    Folks I must say and warn you all Discover Qatar and visiting Qatar is a complete wastage of time and money for two reasons. First Discover Qatar staff endeavor to jack up tourist package and secondly Qatar is no fun place, full of crazy drivers. Dubai is a place where you should be spending your vacation. The choice is yours. This is an honest review based on my personal experience.

These guys won't even give you a refund unless if you have COVID19 and will only re-book your room. if you don't have to travel and come do Qatar DON'T EVEN THINK OF COMING or LEAVING .     We had a layover in Doha and wanted to take a tour. We opted for the 3-hour tour. Even though we didn't have a prior reservation, we were fortunate to be able to join as someone had canceled (tip: make a reservation in advance!). The 3-hour tour takes you to 3 points in Doha: The Corniche, where you stop in front of the Museum of Islamic Arts. Then you pass by the skyscrapers at the Waterfront. The next stop is at the Katara Cultural Village. Finally, you stop at Souq Waqif, where you can explore the different markets. When you finish, you return to the bus heading back to the airport. The guide was very friendly and patient, and the price was reasonable.

    Discover Qatar is one of the worst and most unreliable experiences regarding divorce. It is supposed to be the best domestic tourism company in Qatar, but it is the worst of all.

    I had a horrible experience at the Ronaldinho B12 event. It was advertised as a meet and greet for 1.5 hours but it was a โ€œsee from afarโ€ for 10 minutes. I highly suggests any visitors to avoid booking anything via Discover Qatar and B12 beach club. When a refund was requested, they denied the request and offered a free day at B12 beach club. That is no โ€œgesture of goodwillโ€. My family and I will avoid these establishments if we can help it.

    Decent experience with the 3-hour transit bus tour. Felt slightly rushed though and you only get a sneak peak at everything. But it's not really their fault as they have to fit everything into the 8-hour layover. Bit expensive at 32usd. But a great experience I would recommend. And the market at the end where we had 30min to walk through was definitely the highlight.

    I booked in advance and turns out it was not meant for Asian nationalities, because we need to have hotel booking to get transit visa which I find is very racist. These werenโ€™t informed in advance nor mentioned anywhere. Canโ€™t believe that I was duped

    Poor experience. My hotel was changed without my consent. An upgrade was promised for the inconvenience , but it was just from city view to sea view (they refused to explain what kind of upgrade it would be in the emails and the hotel knew nothing about the promised upgrade), which I wouldn't say is much of an upgrade. Also, the hotel had no idea what Discover Qatar is and wanted to kick me out before the checkout time..

    Do NOT book a tour with this company Disgraceful! We were advised to be at an incorrect meeting point (in our confirmation email) we missed our tour and Discover Qatar refuses to accept responsibility for their error and refuses to provide a refund despite repeated requests. The meeting point apparently changed and we were not advised by email as per 10.2 of the Tour Terms and conditions. The failure to notify the meeting point change and blaming the customer for non attendance is disgraceful!

    Very disappointing experience. I had booked a Quarantine package at Century Hotel Doha for my mother. Her flight arrived at 6:10 AM and she was transferred to the hotel at 7:30 AM. The hotel made her wait for 3+ hours in the lobby, and when asked why they said their rooms were not yet ready, even though the flight details and timings were provided during booking. She had a 5 hour flight and had left to the airport from the arrival country the previous day night itself. She couldn't have her breakfast or use the restroom. I feel that they should have already had the room ready before she arrived to their hotel since they are aware of the arrival time. I had selected Century Hotel over other hotels believing that it would be a great hotel and that she would be well taken care of, but now we are disappointed. Tried contacting Discover Qatar multiple times but no one picked up the phone.

    Called them few times for date / flight details changes. There is a waiting to connect customer care. Once connected, staff are very helpful to listen and do the changes. Would be more happy, if calls connect quickly !

    I booked with them for two nights . then the policy changed so i dont need to stay in couranteen . i requested one day ahead of my flight to cancel the booking and they refused . i requsted refund .. and they offered partial refund .. i payed 1250 qr and they pay back 804 qr . this is stealing .

    More than 20 calls to customers service call centre with no resolve to my problem and the money has not be refunded yet since May 2021. More than 8 offical email to them with no serious response to refund. They forced me to book hotel quarantine for my kids in Montreal Airport and once arrived to HIA kids have been exempted and only my spouse was hotel quarantined. Two reservations of 14500QR. ONLY refunded me 5,500QR. They charged me for 1 person check in to the hotel in normal double room 9,000 QR. 5 months passed until now and real intention from QA to resolve the issue.
