Very good beach .. calm and beautiful.. Only issues are, Some people leave bbq charcoal remains there, that has polluted the beautiful color of sand. Many ignorant and careless people have thrown broken pieces of glass bottles that polluted the sand and mixed up with it, therefore, avoid walking barefoot. Bring water, food and fruits with you and avoid littering as there is huge panelty for littering. There are no shops/kiosks but there are play areas for kids.

The best beach to spend time with family, the beach having facilities like kids play area, washrooms, huts, barbecue stations. Night out experience was best experience at the beach, beach is clean and having less crowd, entry strictly for families only. It’s one of best and secure place to enjoy night at beach. I would highly recommend this beach.

Nice place to hangout !!! Not much crowded ….. Big parking space 😇 . Security checks and allows only family to enter 🧐!! No barbeque and fire aloud !!! Near and clean ….. Don’t forget to have beach chairs or mat to sit near water ….. It has a walking track as well …..

I went with my family on 9th July/ Eid Day. Instead of providing more facilities in the family area, they decided to stop barbecuing altogether. The security guard was rude & threatening to tell the same. I saw many people turning away because of this issue. People come to beach to swim & barbecue. But I guess they don't like to see people enjoying their limited time. Why didn't the authorities inform the local print/social media about this issue? That would've saved the precious time, effort & money of many people.

Great atmosphere for a family hangout, however be aware there are some rocks in the water so you might need to bring sea shoes with you Other than that it’s a good place

It has kids play area, washrooms, showers and lot of free space with ample parking area. We had gone on week days, on weekends it might be little crowded. Though it's a family beach only families are allowed. This time there were some restrictions for tents, barbeque and sheesha. You can take your home food there. Swimmers can swim for a little distance, if you have some swimming accessories for kids also it is safe. Overall area, space, washrooms and water is very clean. It has a small mosque also if you need. There are solar lights which are very a helpful at the evening and night. For the exact location you can follow the Google map searching wakra family beach, the way is easy. There are no shops inside and outside the beach so if you are planning to buy something buy it in advance and take with you.

It's a exotic place for pleasure. The beach sand is clean. Separate play area for every certain distance so you don't have to walk for long distance. The are small stones before entering into beach sand so be careful with kids. Since it is family beach bachelor's are not allowed inside. Here the beach is seperate with sand layer in front where children can play in the water. After walking inside the beach crossing the sand layer you can enjoy breeze and sea waves. The beach is clean and no litter around the area. Here environment is protected a lot. After enjoying your time in beach there is a seperate restroom section where you can bath and change yourself. I have added some photo to enjoy the night view of the beach. Right now barbeque is not allowed inside.

Family beach in wakrah Doha. Calm n cool place for family picnic n BBQ as this place is not very much crowded. Also refreshment tea coffee and sandwiches are available from Tea Time and other frenchises.

The main attraction of wakra beach is the fish barbeque . There are varous kind of fish barbeque all are very tasty. Friday and Saturday very much rush in hotels . The vibe is amazing in the beach there are many boats arranged for attarction . And also ee can see many maket in wakra souq . Market like birds , household, supermarket etc . Good place for family & couple. The water is only knee high for quite a distance which makes it safe for kids, no worries on that. Only issue the beach has a lot of stones which make it very hard to move in water. They can easily give you cuts. It does have shower and kids play area as well which makes it a hot spot for visitors..

Not at all good. It's not clean at all. Things are not been managed properly and it needs lot of correction. Currently climate is not better so plse avoid visiting. Once the climate is good and environment is improved it would be better to visit there

Worst family beach experience. Foul low water beach smell starts from the parking area itself. Huge pipes draining water directly into the beach area. Toilets with no water. Have to walk atleast 1 km into the water to even start swimming. The only good about the beach are; 1)Security Guard at the entrance 2)Toilet Hygeine(No water) 3)Play area for kids(NO lights )
