A really lovely beach. The sand is soft to walk on, although there are some rocks it doesn’t hinder your time here. The beach is ideal for families and barbecues. There aren’t any facilities available, so it would be good to bring food and water with you. In the evening there are quite a lot of people, so get there early especially on a Thursday. The water is warm and inviting and great for swimming. It is genuinely a calm beach, even with lots of people around. It would truly be nice if more people cleaned up after themselves, as it’s such a gorgeous beach. Unfortunately, we found lots of burnt coal and wood left on the sand. Dukhan is around 80km from Doha direct on a pretty empty Dukhan Highway for much of the way. Take the main Dukhan exit and head straight through main (very small) town (ATM, Supermarkets and McDonald’s) to the public beach. There are two beaches either side of the private Qatar Petroleum Sports Club. Both have crystal clear water but the side with small gardens by the parking probably the better. No real facilities on the beach except rubbish bins. Beaches themselves are pretty clean and free of rubbish compared to other popular beaches in Qatar. There are some big jellyfish around so take care in the water. Really nice spot to spend a peaceful day with fresh air and a nice sea view.

One among the many beautiful beach in the city. The premises is well maintained , neat and clean. An evening spent here is like very much refreshing and energetics. We went here with our cousins and family. Had a very beautiful and amazing experience. Especially in winter this place is as beautiful as in the photo. There are also buggy rides available here to drive in the desert. This is also very nice experience. We personally loved this place and would definitely visit this place again for creating another beautiful added memory to our life . Thank you.

It's a little far away but it is more empty then other beaches. I saw a lot of barbecue charcoal left behind that wasn't pleasant. Also there are a lot of small see shells. The water was clean.
