Mokarabia
Coffee
shop
is
conveniently
positioned
next
to
Monoprix
and
is
also
popular
with
a
variety
of
customers.
The
interior
is
inviting,
with
rows
of
good
books
(which
you
can
read)
against
the
walls,
colourful
vintage
retro-looking
posters
and
motivational
sayings,
a
TV
to
watch,
and
comfortable
couches
and
chairs.
The
menu*
is
currently
available
online
and
is
visually
pleasing:
good
graphics
and
a
fun
page-turn
function
(*see
the
barcode
in
the
photos
below
for
access
to
the
online
menu).
The
menu
is
creative
and
has
a
good
array
of
choices.
I
had
the
Spanish
Latte
with
a
peanut
butter
and
crushed
nut
trimming
(a
piece
of
chocolate
with
nuts
is
also
added
as
an
aside)
which
was
delicious,
and
fun
to
drink.
Initially
the
service
was
not
brilliant
as
all
the
staff
were
busy
with
preparation
in
the
kitchen
and
not
concerned
with
customers
walking
through
the
door*
(*staff
should
always
notice
and
make
the
customer
feel
welcome
as
they
enter)
and
I
had
to
ask
where
to
sit
as
part
of
basic
service.
When
I
raised
the
slow
service
with
the
staff,
service
improved
immediately
and
I
was
also
served
a
complimentary
piece
of
cake
(which
wasn't
necessary,
but
showed
a
keen
interest
in
looking
after
customers
-
thanks,
appreciated)
with
a
respectful
apology.
With
regards
to
prices
I
would
say
Mokarabia
is
pricey
in
some
areas
-
QAR28
for
a
karak?
I
just
don't
understand
such
a
hefty
price?
Why?
The
coffees
are
also
expensive
in
my
opinion:
QAR23
for
a
flat
white?
There
are
other
coffee
shops
in
The
Pearl
with
great
karak
for
QAR5
(!)
and
flat
whites
for
QAR16.
I
would
think
that
your
prices
should
be
more
realistic,
and
that
the
'designer'
drinks
to
be
understandably
be
more
expensive.
It
is
not
justified
to
just
be
expensive
for
the
sake
of
being
expensive.
The
coffee
shop
does
have
a
good
location,
cosy
interior,
staff
that
pick
up
on
service
when
required,
and
quality
produce.
I
still
give
it
5
despite
obvious
criteria.
