This
is
a
review
for
those
who
want
to
know
about
the
service,
offerings,
&
ambience
of
this
branch.
Came
here
on
a
Thursday
night,
around
20:00
or
so.
Got
the
bun
&
drink
options,
basically
getting
a
bun
and
a
drink
together
for
an
order.
Out
of
4
of
us,
only
1
wanted
to
get
just
a
hot
drink.
1)
Service
The
person
who
took
our
order
at
the
POS
couldn't
communicate
well.
Upon
placing
one
of
our
orders,
my
companion
had
explicitly
stated
that
they
didn't
want
a
bun
with
their
drink,
to
which
I
clarified
to
the
person
taking
our
orders.
Perhaps
it
was
due
to
his
mask
but,
I
couldn't
hear
him
clearly
when
he
repeated
our
order
—
and
so
came
a
bun
with
my
friend's
order
despite
explicitly
stating
no
bun.
1.1)
Service
The
orders
arrived
in
a
timely
manner.
Apart
from
the
wrong
order
I
mentioned
before,
they
also
placed
two
buns
onto
one
wooden
plate.
Just
to
be
clear,
3
of
us
wanted
a
bun
&
a
drink
—
nothing
was
ordered
to
share
and
there
were
no
sharing
plates.
We
also
didn't
receive
any
cutlery.
Upon
calling
over
one
of
the
employees,
he
explained
that
it
was
"management's
decision".
He
added
that
he
also
didn't
find
this
agreeable
&
that
it
was
his
first
day,
he
ended
our
conversation
with
a
quick
apology
and
left.
1.2)
Service
I
must
add
that
when
we
called
&
gestured
over
to
the
employees,
there
were
3
of
them
who
noticed
and
were
huddled
together
in
the
same
area.
One
walked
away,
going
to
the
back.
The
other
saw
and
gestured
over
to
one
of
his
colleagues,
who
appears
to
be
the
supervisor
or
something
along
those
lines.
It
seemed
as
if
they
didn't
want
to
do
their
job,
which
was
customer
service.
We
simply
wanted
to
know
why
they'd
put
two
separate
bun
orders
on
one
plate
&
why
they
hadn't
given
us
cutlery.
2)
Offerings
We
ordered
original
buns,
cheese
bun,
and
a
mix
of
hot
&
cold
drinks.
We've
always
been
dropping
by
their
locations
for
the
buns
and
we're
happy
to
say
this
branch
served
their
signature
buns
to
their
set
standards.
The
cold
drink
could
use
some
work
with
the
balance
of
flavours.
The
hot
drinks
were
alright
as
always,
standard
coffee
drinks.
3)
Ambience
The
ambience
was
very
relaxed
and
calm.
The
wooden
tables
&
soft
chairs
were
standard
with
some
plants
to
separate
tables
where
necessary.
We
stayed
inside
so
I
can't
say
much
for
the
seats
outside.
There's
not
much
to
say
for
ambience
as
all
branches
I've
visited
have
always
been
consistent
in
this
regard.
Overall
a
clean
branch
that
follows
their
standard
arrangements.
CONCLUSION:
We
expected
to
receive
the
same
offerings
we
always
get
when
coming
to
Pappa
Roti,
and
we
did
—
the
taste
is
consistent.
We
didn't
expect
to
not
receive
cutlery
and
to
get
a
single
plate
for
two
separate
orders.
These
are
simple
things
but
they
are
essential.
Imagine
coming
in,
receiving
two
separate
orders
on
one
plate,
and
no
cutlery.
So
we
just
come
in,
use
our
bare
hands
as
we
share
a
plate?
I
don't
think
that's
what
Pappa
Roti's
concept
is,
much
less
how
it's
supposed
to
be.
