Considering how hard it is to get a reservation here, when we came the restaurant was fairly empty. Staff were a bit in our face and some were overly loud. Food came all at once which I don’t prefer, and it was piled on our plates so I didn’t get any pictures. Nonetheless the food was excellent, the lobster spaghetti was my personal favorite as well as the tortellini.

Scalini, the staircase to my heart If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine with exceptional service and the feel that you're in no less than Italy itself, then this is the place for you. Our dinner began with complimentary Italian antipasto including bread, olive oil & balsamic vinegar, tomato bruschetta, parmesan and green olives. We sat outdoors, the weather and ambience was great, with 7 star service. Later, we enjoyed two pizzas, the classic margherita and the siciliana (ideal for eggplant lovers!). Both were out of this world in terms of flavor and texture. Definitely a must try. Afterwards came our main dishes: Petto di pollo with mushroom sauce, tortellini gorgonzola e asapargi (a crowd pleaser with its creamy goodness) , gnocchi al pesto and gnocchi della Nonna alla sorrentina. Their pasta is homemade, and the gnocchi literally melts in your mouth. We were all happy with our dishes, as each carried its own uniqueness and exquisite taste. Considering the occasion of my mother’s birthday, we ended our meal with tiramisu in song and celebration as the whole staff came to sing with us. Truly a wonderful experience; I’d recommend to everyone! Thank you so much Scalini!

My fiance and I went to Scalini without reservation and the staff accommodated us with warm welcome. Sheila immediately assist us at the door, during our dinner Peter took our order and were cool guy, Jane our waitress is attentive. Will definitely comeback in Scalini, food is delicious and vibrant.

Beautiful restaurant, very very average food definitely not worth the price. I would even go further: it’s absolutely overpriced for the quality of the food you are getting. Both my starter and main were ok I didn’t finish either of them. Have to mention the virgin Bellini - sprite with peach purée…simple but for 60QR you expect it to be tasty. It was very sweet it did not taste good whoever made it has no idea about mixing cocktails. Over all not a good experience and definitely nowhere near the London Scalini.

One of the most luxurious Italian restaurants in Doha. The food is very delicious, the hospitality and the strategic location. I recommend visiting the restaurant and trying the food and atmosphere, but I expensive restaurant.

An amazing restaurant for celebrations and date night. The staff, from the front desk to the servers, are extremely hospitable and go above and beyond to immerse you in the best fine dining experience. We were taken care of by staff and even two restaurant managers - a really great team of staff at Scalini! While the outer garden area is super romantic with beautiful fairy lights, the inside is decorated with tasteful artwork making for fantastic interior and exterior spaces.

Excellent well made and delicately seasoned true Italian food. Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. One of the absolute favorite for a nice fine dining and also for a family dinner.

Very very nicely decorated restaurant with a calm and elegant atmosphere. The location is perfect. The menu is large and has a lot of options but unfortunately for the taste of the dishes weren't as expected for such a high end location. Prices as well are on the higher-end, but that is expected for such restaurants in this location. The service was incredible, very friendly hosts and waiters. They also helped serve the dishes among our table so we could try a bit of each.

I shall go as far as saying this is without a shadow of doubt, the best high end Italian in Doha. Service is impeccable, professional and so knowledgeable about the dishes. Menu has such a wide selection and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, just so much flavor and taste to everything. Indoors and outdoors provided, terrace is a little small but cosy. Looking forward to the next visit.

As an Italian I can totally recommend this place, the food is amazing, the service is excellent and the environment is super charming. If you wanna live a real italian gastronomic experience that's the place to go in Doha !!!

Scalini never disappoints whenever we visit! There is often a live, incredible Italian opera performer who energises the everyone in the restaurant. They have a wide variety of delicious Italian food. The ambiance both inside and outside in the courtyard is lovely. The entire staff is always extremely kind, attentive and caring.

Very highly priced! Food is not delicious. Overrated. But lovely atmosphere. I loved the tiramisu only.

The waiters, food, design and atmosphere are just perfect. Its always my go-to restaurant during special occasions.

My first visit and won’t be my last 😊 I had dinner last night with the girls. The place has a very nice atmosphere and the whole staff was very friendly. We were advised to sit in the outside garden and it looked very appealing but due to weather conditions we preferred to sit inside and it was just as good!!! The food was so good we dug in before we got the chance to take any pictures 😋😅 we had 4 sharing starters; the Burrata cheese, zucchini fries, Avocado Caldo, Parmigiana 🤤 as for the main dish each one went for a different dish and we had 2 to share 😂 I guess going as a group has its advantage !!! I loved my dish Paglia e Fieno Duca Diacono !!! A tagliatelle with mushrooms, asparagus, shrimps and mozzarella 😘 the dessert was yummy … the one I got would be good for sharing, the Semifreddo ai tre Cioccolati 😍 with a cup of cappuccino ☕️ to finish the meal in a good mood.

I will never be back again here.. I really had bad experience there even the staff were super super nice but they interrupt you every 5-10 min ... they made me crazy.. they serve the food to ur plate ..so I had to tell them just keep the plate on the table ..As I do not like to have a large portion and not eating it .. Please staff give space to your guest when they need you they will just call for you .. Music was too loud ...We asked them to reduce the volume and they did but still I had headache because was Food is under what we expected from an Italian restaurant. At the end thanks all staff but stop coming every 5 min asking about the food .. this is really an annoying matter..

The restaurant was well decorated but a bit bright, the staff was very attentive and the food was pretty good, though a bit pricey at 200 USD. While my date was not Italian you could tell she fancied the al dente pasta!

Authentic good quality Italian. Good for friends night out. Clients are usually mainly Qatari so it’s a “black and white place”. Formal environment and people are usually dressed up. the seating area is kind of small. The waiters are friendly and accommodating
