I spent 10 days in Hotel Quarantine... Hotel doesn't have a 4.5* rating facilities... Room i can give - 4* Wash rooms - 2* (water will not drain properly). Service - 1* (Worst response from staff except house keeping Manager (He is nice gentleman and tries his best to resolve guests problems). Food - 3* (Good Food). Overall - 2*.

Disappointing Experience - Subpar Services at DusitD2 Salwa D I was disappointment with the recent experience I had during my stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the services provided fell significantly short of the expectations one would have for a reputable establishment like yours. Below are the specific issues I encountered: Hygiene Concerns: Upon checking into my room, I was disheartened to find a hair on the bed sheet. This raised immediate concerns about the overall cleanliness and attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary environment. Unclean Curtains: The curtains in my room were visibly dirty, which detracted from the overall ambiance of the space. This lack of cleanliness was unexpected and contributed to an uncomfortable stay. Worn-out and Dirty Desk Chair: The desk chair in my room was not only dirty but also had multiple scratches. This not only affected the aesthetic appeal of the room but also left me questioning the upkeep of your furnishings. Misleading Room Change Offer: I was offered a room with a purportedly better view, and upon acceptance, I was allocated a room with an unsatisfactory view. This not only felt misleading but also wasted my time and rejected the relocation. Lack of Basic Amenities: Following my complaint, upon returning to my room, I discovered that the used towel had been taken away, but no replacement was provided. Also, for most of my stay, only one towel was provided. Furthermore, essential amenities such as a toothbrush, moisture, and new soap were missing. This oversight reflects a lack of attention to guest comfort and satisfaction. I believe it is crucial for your management team to be aware of these issues to uphold the high standards that guests expect from your brand. I wish management will take the necessary steps to address these concerns promptly, ensuring a more positive experience for future guests. And, I hope that my feedback will contribute to the continuous improvement of the hotel services.

I spent my quarantine days in this hotel, the rooms are nice and big, but the food is a disaster and above that you are a barrier with a high price you will have to increase other expenses to order food from outside the hotel. I do not recommend it because you will definitely get a stomach disease when the quarantine period ends...

I had an awesome stay at the hotel. The check-in was prompt and smooth. There's a kids club to keep the little ones entertained. The food from the hotel room service was hot and delicious. Mr. Omar was so attentive and considerate of our needs. My kids and I loved the breakfast buffet. The waffles and croissants were delicious!

Seriously underwhelming for a five star property from the moment you enter it doesn't feel 5 star. We had booked 2 rooms, which was clearly indicated by email. The reception said we cancelled one. It took a long time to sort this out and then only one room was ready despite us arriving an hour after we had said. We were traveling with the family and they tried to put us in a stinking room were someone had been smoking. Eventually we got the key of the second room only 3 hours later. Tried to run a hot bath but not enough hot water. Beds were not made up to any standard. All over cheap fittings with sockets making noise when you plug something in. On the plus side the rooms are huge and the swimming pool must be good in summer

Stay wasn’t bad, but the AC had a very loud noise, and wasn’t cool. Room description says there’s a coffee machine but that wasn’t available. Nightstands were dusty, there was hair on the room and bathroom floor, towels weren’t available in the room i had to ask for them and i got ripped ones.

My recent stay at DusitD2 Salwa Doha was a frustrating and disappointing experience. The hotel did not meet even the most basic service expectations, and I was left feeling disappointed and frustrated. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a rude and unprofessional receptionist who made my check-in experience anything but welcoming. During my stay, my keycard was deactivated and reactivated multiple times, which was a considerable inconvenience and waste of time. To make matters worse, during check-out, the receptionist, who looked like a Tunisian, threw my keycard, which was a completely unacceptable behavior. The room cleaning was not up to the mark, and to top it off, the free stuff inside the room was not refilled during the cleaning. I had high expectations for this hotel brand, but my stay here fell far short of even the basic standards I'd expect from a two-star establishment. To add insult to injury, my friend was told that she might have taken something from the room, which was an incredible insult. Overall, my stay at DusitD2 Salwa Doha was frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend this hotel to others, and I won't be returning. As someone who has been staying in Qatar for eight years, a frequent traveler who stayed both hostels and luxury hotels and has Tunisian friends, I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but throwing a keycard and accusing guests of theft is unacceptable behavior for a hotel receptionist.

The hotel is good, staff were very friendly. The room was good and very clean and quiet, The room service staff were nice. I didn’t eat the breakfast in the hotel so I don’t have anything to say. For the hotel fitness center the pool is good but the gym was not that good. Overall: The hotel is good for the price And I would recommend it for anyone

Nice new Hotel, stuff is nice and friendly. Awesome treatment. The only thing I have to complain is the valet service. After 1pm you have to park your car on your own. But hey there you can save tip money 😂😂

It was supposed to be a stress free weekend turned out to be the opposite . Got the room on 3rd floor finding out later that the lift does not work. The inconvenience of going back and forth to our room to call the reception for assistance . Received friends to join for dinner and meeting them at the lobby was a hell of an experience when you have to wait 30 minutes before you could get down to welcome them . Some friends left and few stayed . Although the staff are courteous and warm but hey, I have never experienced such inconvenience before .

False advertisement at its best. Their sponsored post on their Instagram showed oyster and lobster buffet. I arrived with my team to have their buffet. There were only 4 tables occupied. The first thing we ordered was oysters. 20 pieces for 5people.it took them 2hrs to bring 10 pieces and an excuse to say they ran out of oysters. By the time they told us. There were only 6 tables full. I guess that was the reason why there is no customers. Instagram account asked us to provide feedback before we went. When I gave them the feedback, they left it at read and refuse to respond.

The room had an unpleasant odor, as though the carpet had been left damp without proper ventilation. I brought this concern to the attention of the staff, and to my surprise, they mentioned that all rooms had a similar odor, which was not what I anticipated from a hotel that claims a 5-star rating.

Although it took like forever to make a reservation, in the end no need since the restaurant was virtually empty, for some reason my reservation wasn't found🙈 Besides that...the buffet was simple and yet tasty. Soft drinks were extra as the special price for the buffet only for food and water.

Hotel is very nice but internet Wifi is insanely low. You can't really even load emails let alone take a video call. Maybe it's a good hotel for family but stay away if you're here for business or do video calls!

Had a grate time with the team, dusitD2 Qatar is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Doha. The hotel's rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The staff is courteous, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. The hotel's facilities include a rooftop pool, a fitness center, and a spa, all of which are well-maintained and provide a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious food, and the breakfast buffet is exceptional. Overall, dusitD2 Qatar is an excellent choice for travelers looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Doha.

Makimono Japanese restaurant. We felt cheated by the "SUSHI BUFFET". It wasn't a buffet at all. What we got only one plate of sushi and one plate of edamame, and all the drinks are chargeable. Juice was qr35 each. We weren't briefed about the additional charged. Very frustrating

I wanted to spend the Weekend in DUSIT D2, the experience all in all was “OKAY” . The room that I took was suit, the size was nice. But the furniture is kinda old and not clean, you can notice some spots. The smell each time I enter the room is horrible ! I don’t know what was the problem ! But the service in the lobby - reception with Anky was so lovely ! She is the best. Plus the staff in the morning shift for breakfast are also kind and helpful.

We had a great stay in this hotel with my husband during one week and we had a really wonderful experience. I want to thank the staff of Dusit D2 Sales Doha and especially our room attendant - Lahiru SamPath for his help, excellent service and his politeness. He helped us to solve few issues during our stay and made our stay comfortable. We will come back again 😊

Not recommended at all. I had an extremely disappointing experience at a supposedly five-star hotel in Doha in terms of cleanliness and service. Despite our complaints and requests for the room to be cleaned, it remained dirty, with remnants of cakes left on the table from previous guests. Mosquitoes were also a pervasive issue. To make matters worse, the noise level in the bedroom was excessively loud on New Year's Eve. Additionally, the service was abysmal as our room was only cleaned once during our three-night stay. It took a staggering three hours for us to receive a simple request for water. I find it puzzling that such subpar service is associated with a five-star rating. The location is good near a mall that has designer outlet and close to restaurants and coffee shops. The smell of white ginger in the corridors of the hotel was relaxing and nice The ac was un adjustable in the room! We did not have any prayer mat in the room, when we asked for two we got one only There was fungas in the toilet! And there was a drainage issue with the sink!

Jus the first day of my quarantine. I arrived at 11 pm last night. They did not offer any food. I was very hungry due to the long journey from the Philippines. Then this morning I called 2 times to follow up on my breakfast and it arrived quarter to 10 am. 😪😪😪 And the worst, the menu mentioned in the papers they gave us upon check-in is very far from what they gave me. I’m very hungry and I can’t even eat my food.😭😭😭

It seems that it is easy to get the five star hotel rating by just providing the minimum requirements, but when comparing to other five star hotels, you can see and feel that something's are missing. The hotel has potential but needs some focus especially when there are other options in the area.

The room is not that clean. It has a strange smell. Its like the customer left already but the smell still there. 😕 The staff who are assisting us is not being friendly because we dont want to accept their promotional breakfast. 😒 They will be friendly if you are a Qatari. Bias service. 😒

I would highly recommend this hotel. I only stayed two days at DusitD2 unfortunately. I moved a lot on my trip and visited other hotels in Doha that were nice, but this one was by far the most delightful and welcoming one! The room was perfect, the bathroom, perfect, the temperature (ac or heat)perfect also, good wifi, all you need in a room. Everything was clean and smelling good. The breakfast was delicious you have access to a variety of food like fresh omelets made how you like to waffles. There's even a coffee station, fresh juice, pastries, ect. The service is what impressed me the most, the staff is really helping, if you need anything just call. Grace and Anthony are the 2 staff members who welcomed me and my partner so well that I'm writing this long long review, the other valet and receptionist as well (but saddly I dont remember their names). We chose this hotel out of the blue just to finish our travel in Qatar, but now we want to return for November and stay just there. The hotel only an atm to be rated 11 out of 10 (but even so there's one 3 minutes away from the premises).

The room and the complete hotel is very clean. Good amenities. Ample parking space. Most of all, all the staff are friendly and hospitable. Thanks to Jimmy, Anthony and the all the staff in the reception who are very courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Ifzan and Asish who maintains our room clean and orderly and providing good service. I will always stay here whenever I visit Doha and recomment this hotel to all people that I know.

Front desk service is good. Room service is really bad. During my quarantine period, they never send the meal on time. I even receive my dinner at 10.30pm. I called so many times and they told me on its way. Asked for drinking water and tea bag take ages. The Internet line is very bad, you will struggle with video call or zoom meeting.

We visited here in May. Unfortunately, it was only for one night. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was beautiful, fresh and clean. Our service was outstanding. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast is included for every guest and it was delicious. The concierge was very helpful with suggesting places to eat and sites to see. Overall, I would love to stay here when I go back to Qatar.

Hotel quarantine for 2 days! Must be 2 days right? But not… Guest arrived at 7am, check in was at 2pm! No one helped to check in earlier, rules! Always forgot to serve the food(the worst quality ever), always called to remind! Even if it’s quarantine, cleaners coming to clean, people on quarantine walking around the hotel, everyone without masks, no police guard there like at other quarantine hotels. Medical team forgot to take test one day in advance before check out and client didn’t know how it’s supposed to be, so next day of check out at 12, when we called to ask if we can come to pick the guest up, they told us to wait for test result, when we told them that no one did it yesterday, they told us it’s our mistake that we didn’t remind to the medical team!!! They immediately run to the guest and did the test and told us to wait for result, at 7pm medical team left and didn’t gave us result, so hotel staff came immediately into the room, told us we can’t check out without medical papers, took the passport of the guest(what is agains the law of Qatar!) and told her to pay for additional night first, then they will return passport, even if it wasn’t our fault! Medical team too slow, staff of the hotel too slow, not responsible at all! The quest was staying from 21st 7am till 24th 7pm!!!! Is it 2 days quarantine? Not recommend! The only what can change this place is the government structures who can visit them and push them to work by the rules and laws of Qatar

Was a long staying guest for almost 50 days. Rooms are very nice, hotel is fresh and new. The hotel has potential and can improve a lot. Staff are very friendly, but lacks training and service is poor, too much delay and they even forget our request over phone. Housekeeping and FO has no coordination at all. Shared my feedback 03 times and still nothing improved, managers didn't bother to take the feedback seriously including the GM, so can't blame the staff completely.

Went to Dusit hotel for 2 days quarantine with my 1 year old baby. Had the worst experience ever. Almost took more dan half n hour to get the room. No toiletries, worst room service, even to get a bottle of water had to wait 4 hours, food was not on time dat too was average. Hospitality of staffs were zero. Anyone planing to stay der esp for quarantine with a baby alone its a big NO. Sad to know that they are 5 star after such a bad experience.

The hotel premises are good and the staff in the house keeping was good but the very disappointed person is the duty manager Mark as I have requested to make a late checking out just two hours he told me that I cannot as hotel is full and I know very well the half of the hotel is empty also there is the sales manager Anas I have requested from him to give monthly rate for the room in the hotel he informed me that I will check and feed me back till now nothing done this happened last week.

I arrived at the hotel at 2PM and the receptionist was kind enough to let me check-in. I was placed in the 1st floor near the pool and gym area. The place is cozy and clean and I love the ambiance of the room. Staff are courteous and hospitable. The gym guy toured us around the gym, sauna, and massage area. The Arabic lady in the gym reception area was a bit busy with her phone eventually she called the other gym guy to help us out. The buffet breakfast is okay, nothing special, I love the waffles station, it was just a simple hearty breakfast to energenize me for the day. Overall, the my stay was pleasant and would love to come back again.

Good stay, friendly housekeepers, kind receptionist and very helpful staff. Good amenities like gym and the pool. I just gave 2 stars because the security is absurd when FiFA team players from costa rica 🇨🇷 arrived there. They should have warned securities that this is our client and she's staying here something like that. Even I will just go out to take food from the outside, I will undergo repeatedly for security reasons.

Very nice hotel, from start to finish, the staff members are very nice and help you in any way needed. Rooms are big and with space. Beds are super nice and big, i was by myself. The one thing i didn't like, was that you couldn't turn the controls of the room off, so you had some bright light buttons all night in the room. Other than that, it is a wonderful hotel. Pool is super cool and nice!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms were fabulous and very comfortable and the food options were superb and tasty. Everyone was very friendly. The all day dining was a particular favourite and the food was delicious for all three days I used it. It is about a 7 to 8 minute walk to the Bin Mahmoud metro station. Just be carefu walking that in the hot weather.
