Horns broken, cages not cleaned, ... Just an hour before, we were showed the luxury of the city, billions thrown in to develop the country... ...then we see this farm... it is awful to see how they treat animals there. We saw cats in cages?!? Why would you lock these animals? it is already hard enough for them to survive outdoors in this country. How about having Huskies and other dogs locked up??? With a bowl of dirty water and no food. Qatar and the owner of this place should be ashamed of treating animals this way. WE SURELY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE LOVING ANIMALS TO VISIT THIS PLACE.

Batelco wild animals is a part of Al alrren , it is very nice place to visit and see wild animals such as lion, Tigger

Farm lacks maintenance. No good shelter for animals..seems very old . Still a desert like atmosphere. Lot of sheeps, goats,some camels,horses, broiler hens in the farm. Visitors are allowed to feed them. An organic vegetable garden 'Kisan karma seva' associated with malayali farmers in Qatar is located inside. Some stalls are seen like fish shop, barbershop etc..all were closed. Many small plants nursery are seen bt not grown good.They kept them for sale i think A small cattle market was seen where sheeps from large trucks were unloaded and kept for sale.

A worthy visit for sure, especially with children. For the minimal entrance fee, which includes a short safari bus ride (air conditioned), it's a must do, at least once!

3 stars for landscape and garden. Rest the Zoo have lost its charm,,, No animals of pray, no cats, no hyenas, no wolfs, no bears etc. No rhino's, no elephants, no hippo's, no bufallo etc,,,, was sad and disappointed to see few saluki type dogs in the cage,,,

The Park is absolutely beautiful... the surroundings are just amazing. My kids had a fantastic day there. The only thing they could improve is that shelter managed by batelco. I think they could do better... especially for the animals that are not sheltered like the zebras and the giraffe... plant trees and grass or something. The weather here in Bahrain is not so conducive for such animals so if they can just modify the place to suit the animals... Otherwise great place to take family especially when the weather is good.

Lot of animals are moved out. We were told that animals are moved out to Dubai and the empty spaces won't be filled back. There are few animals and birds to see. The flora and landscape of the place is very well maintained.

It made my two year old happy enough, but there is very little to see. A few sad old emus and a pony ride, but not much else. There were a lot of closed exhibits, very few facilities. Wouldn’t recommend for older kids.
