The best International Airport. It is so picturesque, elegant, clean with all modern facilities. A very huge airport with excellent guidance, extremely clean toilets, good seating, shopping facilities, food courts, restaurants, children play area, prayer rooms, quiet rooms, smoking rooms etc. One can go on listing so many positives. Even the entire Airport staffing are very courteous, helpful when approached. The business lounge is damn huge with facilities like shower, baggage storing places, reclining seats for comfortable sleeping while on a long transit, excellent food spread and what not. Absolutely loved it

It felt like one of the largest or the largest airport I have been in. It is incredibly spacious inside without any crowds. There was just a lack of stores, and I was really thirsty. I had to walk for while until I found something. I spent the night there and they have rooms or areas section off to sleep in. Which was really nice. Overall it was easy to get around and an easy experience. Very clean airport as well.

I see why this is the worlds best airport in 2021. This place is gorgeous and a show stopper for sure. I felt like a kid in a candy store just wanted to touch, buy, and eat everything. There was pay phones available for use which I thought was cool/weird because I hadn’t seen a working one in years. Was curious if it was free of charge or how they actually work, wasn’t able to get a chance to confirm. It was really easy to navigate and find the next gate on the screens located around the airport. It’s such a huge airport they have a train that can help you get to the gates faster. Restrooms were clean and enjoyed the hose that was available to take care of business. The airport has availability for you to sleep and fly but because it’s such a busy airport I recommend to download the APP to guarantee to catch some snooze in advance. Big plus that most major currencies are accepted.

One of the biggest International Airport in Middle-East. It is the international air transit hub in middle-east like Dubai Airport. Exceptionally well cleaned and well maintained airport. Big duty free shops inside terminal. Very vast place for rest and sitting. Varieties of brand outlet and restaurant all over the place. Customs and immigration process are not long. It's not very hard to find your desires places. Lounge is above average. Good staffs and very cooperative.

Beautiful airport with lots of amenities. I had a long layover, then found a quiet room where I managed to catch some sleep. The room has nice reclining chairs, like poolside chairs, and one can rest there. Unfortunately, I couldn't find public showers here, wish they had some.

The best airport in the world! It is extremely lovely, stylish, clean, and equipped with all contemporary amenities. The airport is very large and can offers excellent assistance, incredibly clean restrooms, comfortable seats, shopping options, food courts, restaurants, a play area for kids, prayer rooms, quiet rooms, and smoking areas, among other amenities. The extensive selection of perfumes and designer stores was the highlight of this airport. Many of the high end stores were offering 30-40% off regular merchandise which is rare. One could continue listing all the advantages. When contacted, the entire airport staff is really kind and helpful. Even if you are travelling in economy class, you will definitely have a smooth experience.

From high-end retail outlets and eclectic dining options to luxurious lounges, everything is designed for comfort and convenience. The airport's commitment to art is evident from the beautiful installations dotted around the terminal, adding to the visually pleasing environment. One cannot but appreciate the ease of navigation and the user-friendly signage. The children's play area and nursery are a godsend for traveling families, and the quiet rooms provide a serene sanctuary for those seeking peace in the bustling travel hub.

The best airport I've ever been to for a long layover. Due to its size, it's probably not ideal if you have to catch a connection quickly, but if you have a few hours to spend here, this airport is almost a destination in itself. There are lots of huge works of modern art dotted around the airport and one of the highlights is certainly the interior forest / garden with chirping birds, that you can walk through at ground level or on a winding pedestrian bridge a few meters in the air. There are also quiet rooms with comfortable recliners / chaise lounges where it is easy and safe to sleep. Shopping and dining options are almost endless, but this nowadays is rather common in many airports. The level of cleanliness is outstanding and bathrooms are no exception.

Been here multiple times To layover. I need to actually stop and stay in Qatar one day! What a phenomenal airport. The service, the people, the amenities and the amount of things to do is just perfect. Anyone new here please check out the expansion of the airport it’s a rainforest vibe in an airport and it’s great to get the steps in! Doing a layover here never fails and gets your ready for the next flight. There’s lots of attentive workers if you need a wheelchair or a ride. It is a new and nice airport that was built. If you are traveling from Qatar make sure that you arrive before two hours at least as it depends on your gate you need to walk . Now the airport is not as busy as used to be before COVID . The team is friendly and you can check in easily and they have multi-storey car parking .

It is a fast and convenient airport. The toilets are good. Conveniently placed. Security people are friendly. It's rich and lavish. There is not much up and down during transit. Some lanes are narrow but great with kids. They have some play area for kids too.

Beautiful, clean and well maintained. Had a connecting Qatar flight from Hamad and it was a great experience. The airport is grand and had good shopping options. The restrooms were clean and the attending staff were polite. The airport was relatively busy when I visited. The signs and directions were quite clear and easy to navigate. In case you are traveling from one edge of the airport to another, I would recommend taking a train that connects platforms rather than walking.

Stunning airport and no wonder it is the world's best. I had thought it was amazing when I went through security to the "teddy bear" statue but I had yet to walk to the C gates and see the indoor park. It is truly a wonder. This airport has all the facilities you could need and I'd check in early for a flight just to have the pleasure of walking around it. While the airport was busy, due to its sheer size it never felt overcrowded.

Busy and packed always. I've been there and didn't enjoy it. Most airlines don't have a terminal gate that is easily accessible by travelers. After the long haul flight, the passengers are expected to climb down the plane stairs and wait for the bus to get to the airport. This is a big hassle if you are traveling with kids or disabled family members. Overall, I am expecting better service once they finish all the expansion and construction work.

This is one of the busiest airports in the World….especially with Qatar Airways taking it as a nodal point for all its flights…The airport is very good in lot of aspects like the number of gates…number of passengers it can cater…good facilities inside like trains…however based on my experience with international travel felt there are lot of improvement areas in the airport …however wanted to highlight 3… 1. Attitude of the staff :- the security staff was really rude at the travellers …if it was just with us I would have not highlighted but everyone who was in the queue had a distasteful experience 2.Lack of adequate restrooms near the gate: the C 80 area had only 1 restroom for almost 6-8 gates in the men’s area 3.Rate of the vendor shops: it’s normal to have high rates for items in airport shops but having items at 10 times the rate I feel is a bit too much

Love the earthy feel to it. Its been a while since I visited this airport, must say it improved a lot and has a very homey feel to it. Very clean! Loads of assistance everywhere. It was a breeze using this airport and will recommend a connecting flight via Qatar at any time!

I love traveling and I can say that this airport is one of the best. It's really big, they have a train. Trolley for your handbag, help everywhere. There's even a pharmacy that comes in handy.

This is the 2nd time I visited Doha airport and I think it's the biggest airport I have visited till now compared to India, Europe and Dubai. You have to take train to go to some terminals... yesss..... train 😊 . As its very big airport and people get really confused where to go... you would find airport authorities at every 10-15 steps and they are really helpful 🙂

The terminal was well organized. It has too many comfortable seats for passengers. It also has quite rooms for people to rest especially those that have long layovers. The restrooms are everywhere and properly cleaned every now and then. The only thing that I don't like here is that other flights will have to take a bus to board and disembark.

One of the biggest airports in the world. HIA is home to Qatar Airways, one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. The architectural design is fascinating. The most prominent figure inside the airport is a giant bronze statue of a teddy bear with its head in a lamp. Lot of transit passengers are coming here and more space is reserved for duty free shops.

One of the best airports i have seen yet. The Fast Immigration process. Cleanliness and the things to amuse like the great teddy bear in the picture makes your experience wonderful. I Definitely recommend to visit Qatar

What an impressive airport, probably the most modern and sophisticated airport I have been to in the last few years!! It is very modern but still doesn't seem to be too packed at the same time. If you're a fan of shopping, you will also find lots of places to go to. Same counts for food and drink places. Although my layover was bout 5h, it felt like time flew by with walking around, driving in the in-terminal shuttle, having coffee and just chilling. If you're looking for a connecting hub in the arab area, don't miss out on Doha International airport!

This is absolutely one of my favorite airports, MAYBE THE BEST. It might be a bit pricey here than other airports though. COMPARED TO THE NEW ISTANBUL AIRPORT which is also my favorite. Take the chance if you have time to go around, don’t mess the Orchard tropical garden located at the heart of the airport.

Airline of the Year, Best Airport and all the accolades are absolutely justified: incredible airport, best seats, food that not only looks good but tastes absolutely scrumptious. On top of all these, the nicest, friendliest and most professional cabin crew I've experienced in the 50 years of flying. An airport spread across a large area. Transit of 4 to 6 hours can easily be spent waking around, it’s that huge (unless you get tired). Also a lot of options in the Duty Free to buy and also window shopping 😄. Many play areas for kids.

This has to be one of my favorite Layovers I was here for about 20hr I was even given a Quiet room to sleep and rest. PS if you are at any airport for a long lay over always ask for a Quiet room , it’s free , it’s different from a sleep lounge . This lounge is reserved for Economy Class passengers who fly with Qatar Airways . You have to be quick as the lounge is almost always full and when that happens , they will deny you entry . Even though you don't see all the chairs taken up , this form of crowd control works in making the space liveable , cozy and comfortable . Used the shower , hot water is strong and so good , there is spa standard liquid soap and shampoo provided ...just no hairdryer . Spent my time in the Quiet room where it was initially hard to get a chair but I managed to get seats in the end where I could stretch out my feet and nobody asked me to put down my feet . Overall positive , relaxing and stomach filling experience for me.. ..

There are many options to how to spend time before the flight, where to have a rest or to grab a snack. A big variety of shopping spots. Free high speed self-driving train from gates D&E to A&C, a wonderful The Orchard near gates D&E like a magical forest.

Hamad Airport was a positive experience for me. I enjoyed the ambiance, helpful staff, and the variety of amenities available. Beautiful airport! There are surprises around every corner. Lots of high end retail shopping, good restaurants and there's even a forest at one end! So cool! We had a 9 hour layover here two weeks ago and it was a very comfortable airport to hang out in. Lots of stuff to keep you busy and entertain, just walking around the airport there is lots of stuff to see and do. There's a few lounges and hotel rooms too plus hourly sleeping pods, or you can just find a quiet seat and relax. Thanks Doha airport!

Definitely a world class airport. It is absolutely beautiful on the inside, with lots of options for shops and food. The quiet rooms are great, the bathrooms are big and clean, and the smoker's room you could only smell when the door opened. Try the Oryx Lounge-South if you have a long layover-- it's worth every bit you pay. Please be aware that if you're on one of Qatar Airways' smaller flights, you will be away from the terminal, you will be loaded on a bus and if you have another flight to catch, you will be doing some running. The Qatar Airways people are very responsive though, so don't hesitate to let them know when/where your next flight is.

Newly built Hamad International Airport, Doha is beautiful. Many options (food, shopping, Garden area and resting) for the passengers transiting from this airport. For long layovers, passengers can rest in quiet rooms. In the garden area bird chirps can be heard. Overall you will have good experience. Have a great travel.

Winning again as the airport for 2021. No reason to doubt it as was one if the few airports that remained open and kept flying through the whole pandemic. I have been in and out if this airport for 7 years and the service and efficacy is super. As any place on earth, there is always room for improvement such as water fountains where potable water is available for passengers.

Busy but very well managed, organized and clean airport. The bathrooms, check in desks and waiting areas were all very clean and felt brand new. Plenty of comfortable seats in the waiting area. Wifi connectivity was good throughout the airport. The staff at the at airport was very cooperative. Very nice duty free area with plenty of shops, restaurants an cafes at various price points. The only thing I didn't like was that it was very dimly lit at night and that created a somewhat dull atmosphere in an otherwise very good airport.

Truly the best airport of the year 2021! No more security/X-ray scan checks after deplaning if your a transit passenger. You can directly head to Duty Free shops and restaurant or directly to your assigned boarding gate. The final security check will be on the boarding gate if your are traveling to any US airports.

Doha international airport is the finest, most organised and well managed. It offers services like sleeping pod, lounge, resting areas for free. I have been to many countries in the world and did not see anything even closer to this. The duty free caters vast variety of stuff. I saw kids playing around in the play area so it seemed like a child friendly airport as well. The staff is articulate, It is meant for international travellers no one can get lost where every minor detail was well informed through signs in english.

Great airport. My flight was an hour late leaving me only 40 min from gate to gate to my connection! I was there in 20 min! What an easy commute inside the airport. And so is the place. Clean, tidy, perfectly regulated. Shops for goods and foods. I wish I had more time to relax there.

Hamad International Airport is the airport of Doha. This is definitely an awesome amazing airport, it’s spacious, it’s well designed, it thinks about the end user, ie passengers, take note other airports, this is the way. Passengers have a multitude of shops, retail , eateries, snacks bars, coffee and other drinks to chose from, you will definitely be catered for here, there is many electronic electrical gadgets to marvel over for purchase. Airport lounges persons like myself are catered for also of which there are many. The architecture is great to behold and the impressive BEAR is the highlight

I had 11 hours layover in this airport. Every facilities are excellent, it has numerous restaurants and all of them are halal (I've asked the staff), and there are so many things to explore in duty free. You can find plenty of seats available along the building, the toilets are clean, and they also have shower room. Not to mention the prayer room with ablution facilities as well. When you have a long layover, you can register for various paid-tour, such as airport tour and even city tour. It depends on how long the time you have to catch the next flight.

The airport is huge and has tons of things to explore, normal transit waits can easily be ignored as there are numerous shops and duty frees that can be window shopped(There are numerous duty frees aswell). There are car services available for senior citizens and partially abled people.

Amazing airport, clean, staff friendly (not over bearing or pushy) and helpful, lots of toilets and lovely spaces to relax whilst waiting for flights. Loads of designer shops and a good mix of gift shops that were reasonable on prices for gifts. Without doubt the best airport I have ever been to. Would definitely recommend.

Big and very busy even at 3am. Lounges nice although first was closed The big Teddy is a bit weird. Loads of shops but I didn't find the duty free prices very cheap compared to the UK or the supermarket prices at home in Guernsey

Very big airport well designed. Currently undergoing construction to expand the airport that will make it even more big. The train inside the airport makes it easy if you need to get on the other side of the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff also.

World class airport. There's helpful staff wherever you look. Meticulously decorated. Lots and lots of high-quality shopping stores and the food courts are not bad either. This airport has everything you can ask for. For longer transits, they have quiet rooms to rest. There's free internet and many lounges to enjoy.

Beautiful and peaceful. Price is very high but you get all good quality items. Somehow food taste is very bad in food courts. We tried even KFC and it was very bad as well. Please improve. We Are paying high so expecting good quality food. They have a beautiful forest artificially made inside the airport with trees and all. Its a wonderland.

This airport is humongous. You can easily lose your way if you do not make use of the sign boards. But also there is lots of help around. There are assistants waiting to assist you each time. My layover was just over an hour and during this time I managed to grab a snack and take a look around. The airport is beautiful. The infrastructure is amazing. The temperatures outside are extreme though. I was shocked of the heat when I stepped out of the plane. But you'll survive 😀. It's worth the experience. I will definitely visit again soon

Doha airport is incredibly impressive, with outstanding architecture and impeccable organization. It boasts the finest shops and top-notch customer service. Furthermore, the airport is impeccably clean and maintains high hygiene standards. I would be delighted to spend more time in this remarkable airport.

It's a very impressive airport. Huge. Lots of duty free shops. Recently they've made a garden inside (around C) where you get Gordon Ramsay's pizza and other food. There are a few options for lounges. Their hotel is also nice. Situated right above the yellow bear. Fast food court is between A and B while another food court is on the ground floor in C. There are some other eateries spread across the airport. You can spend hours without problem.

Hard to find something not working in this airport. Shops open probably 24 hours and it is possible to find a bit everything. Decent prices (obviously, not for the luxury brands). Plenty and comfortable seats. Possible to check your flight also from some machines (not needed to see the panels).

Great, modern airport, which does not feel crowded, even when it gets busy. For me it was one of the best stop-overs in the middle-east. PS: if you have access to the Qatar Airways Lounge you are in for a treat. Seldom have I experienced such a customer focus. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(6 stars)!

I love this International Airport. It's huge and awesome. There is everything like a relaxing place, a playground for kids, delicious food, and a restroom everywhere. I want to get that connection flight again if I go.

I travelled a lot in my life and I have been to too many airports. This airport is one of the best (top 5) airports I have ever been to. The facilities are always clean, the duty free market is big and has diverse shops, the lounges are beautiful and comfortable and there is transportation inside the airport.

The best international airport that U have visited so far. You can find many adorable spots to take a picture for yourself, or when you are with your family members here. There are many stores with elite brands if you want to find fancy and luxurious goods. The thing I love here, the officers are helpful and don't bother to ask if you are lost or confused about anything in the airport.

This airport has won airport of the year and it truly deserves it. World class, ultra modern technology, extensive security features, well staffed, solid infrastructure, excellent shopping with all the top brands.... I could go on. If you have to fly from here, you will enjoy it. Its a wonderful hub for Qatar Airways. Fully recommend to all.

An airport that is world-class. The transit and navigation is effortless and smooth. Passengers have access to a wide range of amenities and facilities. Free buggy service is available for seniors and persons with restricted mobility. If it's feasible, try to choose this airport for a layover.

Newly built airport, very very nice structure and set up, it is very easy to roam around. There are plenty of nice brands where you can buy souvenirs and gifts for yourself and your own people. There are nice restaurants where you can have proper lunch or grab something to eat. The airport is very clean and tidy, the toilets are clean and tidy as well.
