    Is IKA worth trying, even if it is hard to reach with all the roadworks? Yes! I went for the taco Saturday and the deal is great! The tacos are the real Mexican ones and they are incredibly good. It's a new restaurant, so I thought it's when it is time to take advantage till the good level keeps up, because, if you know Doha, no restaurant really lasts in quality. Highly recommended.

    A must visit South American fusion restaurant in the heart of West Bay. Simple menu but filled with incredible flavor. The star of the show for me were the Char Grilled King Prawns topped with tobiko and their delicious sweet Pulled Beef Waffles with barbecue sauce and cheese. To start we had their Guacamole with pomegranates and Hamour ceviche (fresh and light). For the main course, tried their Brisket Tacos (very tender beef), Char Grilled King Prawns, Pulled Beef Waffles and their Bao Crab (a whole soft shell crab, crunchy yet tender inside).     The service was excellent. Foods and drinks were delectable and a bit too much for both my husband and I. The staff were attentive, approachable and accommodating. Mr Rodney and the rest of the staff took turns in checking if we needed anything. We enjoyed our time celebrating Christmas along with the festive atmosphere. Kudos to everyone of the staff who worked hard and ensured that everyone had a wonderful time.

    Loved the Friday brunch variety. Food experience was great, service was very lovely, especially Aldana Celeste....Family friendly atmosphere, with inviting latin music....Need a special thank you to the F& B management represented by Mr. Firas, who was very kind, welcoming & gracious....highly recommend the IKA experience👍👍👍

    The place looks really nice inside and it's quite spacious. We had different dishes like ceviche, cachapas, empanadas, bao crab, and taco beef from the menu. I suggest trying the ceviche and the empanadas because those were our favorites. The ceviche had an amazing flavor, and we even ordered it again because we loved it so much. However, we don't recommend the bao crab. The ceviche set such high expectations for the other dishes, but only the empanadas came close to meeting them. For drinks, we had the berry delight and fizzy ginger from their mocktail selection. The berry delight is really nice, so I recommend giving it a try!

    Really good brunch with very fine food preparation. Definitely one of the best brunches in town. It is not a buffet, so the chef cooks everything just for you, that makes it way better. The service is on a high level. And you can use Entertainer. So 250QR for two ppl including soft drinks and juices is an unbeatable deal.

    Wow just amazing! we had a birthday dinner last night and glad that we chose this restaurant for it. We’ve tried all south american restaurant in Doha, but the service and food at IKA was the best! We tried the calamari, guacamole, kale salad and umami fries for starters. Main was duck confit, seabass, and the chicken. The highlight was the birthday surprise! The dessert tower. It was amazing! And all the desserts were delicious. Special thanks to the team at IKA last night for making it amazing. Will definitely come again.

    Überbewertet - eher durchschnittlich. Das Restaurant liegt in einem Hotel, nüchterne Einrichtung. Gute Musik. Ceviche habe ich schon öfter gegessen, diesmal einfach zu viel Salz. Das gleiche gilt für die andere Vorspeise meiner Frau. Fazit - eher nicht -.

    Me and my husband went to IKA for New Year’s eve, we really enjoyed the food and the attention, they had a set menu but accommodated a vegan one for me, it was mind blowing, wonderful, fancy and delicious, I really would like that they have. vegan menu in the daily basis.

    Visited IKA for their 3-course business lunch and we absolutely loved it. We were served by the lovely Aldana and she was very helpful with food recommendations based on our preferences. Highly recommend the Tiradito and Beef Nigiri! The staff were also lively and the restaurant itself was great. The price for the portions and quality of food is very good, would definitely come back here again!

    We went for the business lunch deal and it was fantastic! We started with beef sushi and ceviche (can’t remember the local dish name) both of which were incredibly tasty. The mains – chix with lime rice and beef milanese pasta – were equally delicious and came in huge portions. Our server was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We went on a weekday, so the place was pretty empty, but I heard it gets busy on weekends, so reservations might be a good idea. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. The food was great, the service was excellent, and we left happy and satisfied. We’re definitely planning to come back for more!

    Went today (August 2023) to this ground floor restaurant with valet parking, for Friday Brunch (1-4pm), after pre booking the day before. The ambiance was very welcoming, impressive foyer, restaurant v easy to find. Staff were immediately attentive and welcoming, took us to our table & explained how their brunch operates. With a Latin American theme, we received 3 cold starters followed by 2 hot starters, menu below; my wife found the Ceviche Classico white fish & sweet potato in tiger milk her favourite. I could not pick a favourite - the guacamole and the salmon roll being equally delicious. 3 mains were stir fry beef, shrimps in noodles and marinaded chicken thighs - the best we’ve had since living here. These came with umami fries and with spring salad - both superb. Finally, 3 deserts almost finished us off (my wife is not usually a pudding person, but she destroyed the chocolate cake almost single handed…). After all that & a 15 minute break, we managed a coffee each (decaf available). We also had several ginger fizz drinks each, although stronger beverages are also available. I understand the menu changes weekly and we will definitely be back. This review would not be complete without commenting on the excellent staff, from Rodney who welcomed us to our table & answered all our queries, to Mahesh who volunteered to fetch our car so we could remain cool.

    We went to the South American brunch with some friends recently. It was pretty good. The avocado hummus and plantain chips were a great start. We were served a nice green salad and the main platter included brisket, chicken, shrimp among other things. It wasn’t very varied - but to be honest it was quite filling and none of us asked for seconds as we were quite satisfied. Personally I prefer this type of brunch. Heavy on meat and low on carbs. However - it would have been great to have more vegetables as a side rather than just fries. It’s definitely a meat lovers brunch. Our waitress Aldana Celeste was a pleasure and so attentive! A major plus. We didn’t have to wait long for service or requests.

    The New Best Restaurant in Westbay Doha! The food was absolutely wonderful and delicious, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed their signature mocktail that we ordered, the Berry Delight. They also have the best Calamari and Burger in Doha. Really a must try! The servers here are just really nice and approachable.

    We were searching for a new place to have lunch. We found this amazing restaurant around west bay! Business lunch were so delish! And they do serve buffet for breakfast as well. A lot to offer such as taco saturday, friday brunch, robata on tuesday, happy hour, etc… we will definitely come again! Not forgetting the staff they were very welcoming and friendly. This IKA South American Restaurant should get an award 🥇

    Definite must-try. Great quality South American brunch with really good flavors and flawless service. Disappointed however with the desserts variety and we are asked to pay for coffee/tea, but overall it is still quite a value-for-money experience.

    What a fantastic restaurant find this was. Had really incredible food for my wife's birthday and the team made it extra special by presenting her with a cake just for her free of charge which was incredibly generous. The desserts were so delicious and will certainly be back to try out some of the other menu items. Thanks for making our evening a special one!

    Unfortunately didn't catch the first course due to everyone being so hangry 🤣 the food was amazing each item was prepared with its own seasong and worked well together. The side complimented the meats and were not forgotten when it came to flavour. The staff were outstanding!!!! Definitely major improvements to a year ago. They were so accommodating and made everyone was well taken care ( 7adults and 4 kids). From tender brisket to succulent prawns it was all 9/10 from me.

    Enjoyed a mums and daughters night out at Ika. Service was exceptional! Valentina and her colleagues made us feel at home and our girls left feeling super pampered. Loved everything we tried from the gorgeous refreshing ceviche which tasted as wow as it looked to the flavourful bao crab and king prawns! Ended the night on a sweet note with the Chef’s Table which was a treat for all the ladies at the table young and old. Thank you Ika Doha and My dear friend for a fab night out

👍👍 Cosy and peaceful restaurant to dine out. Food has texture, it's flavorful and very well presented like a piece of art. Mind-blowing service. Staff is very friendly and professional. They also have nice outside seating also. Yes it's bit pricey but it's actually worth paying. I highly recommend it.
