Majestic! Must see if you’re in the area. Definitely take a raincoat because the mist will soak you. We went on a beautiful day. It started off chilly and raining and as soon as we arrived, it cleared to blue skies and multiple rainbows. It’s humid as well, so it feels warmer while you’re there. The walk is nice-it will take an hour give or take depending on how often you stop for photos. There are tons of plant species that are only found here as well. Take the time to notice them! God’s fingerprints are all over this place. A wonder for sure.

First recommendation: go as early as possible, as the day gets really hot really fast! If possible, take a guide with you (if you can make it private even better and not that expensive) It took us about 6hs to make the full coverage of all the paths. Very much worth it. Take sun screen and bug repellant. Water and other drinks can be bought in many spots, but dont forget to hydrate all the time. Be ready to walk quite a bit. For me it was close to 12km. Make sure that you pre book the tickets online. They are not selling on location, only pickup.

5 stars is for the nature. Infrastructure is less impressive with ridiculous prices, bad food and less than pleasant staff. The circuits take about 30 minutes each, maybe 1 hour with a lot of downtime, 2 hours no way. So don't plan too much time. Can bee done easily with the Brazil side in one day, no rush (but start in Brazil).

Beautiful park with magnificent waterfalls. If you’re planning to do the 3 hikes+boat tour+have a lunch, you won’t be able to finish all in one day. You can come next day using the same ticket and you’ll pay half price for entry. Bare in mind that in the boat tour, you will get completely wet as they will take you right under some waterfalls. The park has 3 restaurants (buffet, by weight and fast food) along with an ice cream shop and other small shops for snacks and beverages. We were lucky to encounter some animals.

Splendid, wonderful, beautiful, the best thing I've seen in Argentina by far. It's staggeringly fabulous. It's got facilities like food and drink outlets and souvenir shops. Also WCs. Buses run from Puerto Iguazú to the park entrance bear the ticket office. Tickets December 2023 are 20,000 pesos. Online information insists you buy in advance. This is NOT necessary. Boat rides are a whopping 40,000 on top of the ticket price. Birds and animals can be seen as well as the magnificent waterfalls. Take your time. Enjoy. December 2023 Devil's Throat is closed due to landslides but you still see the falls, only from a different angle. The little train still operates although not as far. That's included in the ticket price. Wear sensible footwear. It can be slippery.

This is easily one of the more beautiful parks you can visit in the world! The falls are obviously the main attraction but a lot more is offered. You'll be able to find good food and drinks inside. There's a trait to get you around the admittedly huge park. There are two expensive hotels inside the park if you want to stay inside. There are many many trails that are engaging on their own. Even the lesser visited visitors center is worth a stop to enjoy the exhibits and learn about the falls. The best view of the falls is probably from the lower (inferior) trail. The upper (superior) trail is more popular because it puts you right above the falls but the views aren't as nice. Plan to spend at least 5 hours in the park. You can get a Río Uruguay bus to leave the falls but you can only pay with cash. Coordinate your bus or driver before you arrive!

Really a truly spectacular place to visit, a free train takes you to the top and a walk over the boardwalk over the river takes you to the very edge of the water falls, you can expect to get very wet for the spray of the water. The other walking trails offer amazing views of different areas of the falls and you can expect to see wildlife including monkeys, Coati's, catfish, crocodiles, lizards.... and if you're exceptionally lucky there are wild cats in the park, puma and leopard. You can easily spend the whole day here, we did it in 6 hours and could have easily taken 9 hours, especially if you have children. Just be ready to rest for the evening because the walking is tiring!

Spectacular natural wonder of the world that is a must see in Argentina or Brazil. We took a day-trip from Buenos Aires (long day with two flights) but completely worth it. We booked a private company to drive us to both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the falls. We felt the Brazilian side we slightly more impactful given the panoramic views of the falls, but both are impressive!

A must see in Argentina. Easy hike over, around and under the falls. Should you dare to take the boat ride, Expect to get drenched, but well worth it. The falls are immense but extremely accessible. Restaurants and rest areas available within the park.

While the place is nice, the customer service is terrible. Their processing system was down so they couldn't accept credit cards, and charged us double to pay in cash. Also some walkways were closed with no notice whatsoever.

Amazing natural park and waterfalls. Things to consider before visiting: - Expect to spend the day in the park. - Make sure to get sun screen and a hat. - Get extra clothes or bathing suit if you plan to do the jungle/boat cruise. - You have to book online. - You pay 2800pesos (foreigners) only for entrance.

Absolutely much better than expected. It's one of the 7 world's best natural places, and worth every minute and step. I strongly recommend staying 3 days, 2 in argentinian side, one in Brazilian. In the argentinian please walk the "sendero Macuco". In both sides, take the boat excursions and go under the waterfall!

Of course, the waterfalls are just amazing, but the Organisation was horrible. We had luck to arrive early and had only 10 groups on front of us at the ticket desk, we still waited an hour as there was only one guy working. But all around the park there where always many people. As we got our tickets after an hour, this really Slowenien queue had at least a hundred of people

This is a must-see, if you are anywhere near this area. The park is very well laid out. Walking trails are very well done. The lower trail may be a bit difficult for handicapped. Great restaurant with great food in the middle. This makes Niagara Falls look like a puddle.

Amazing. Really well organised. The only thing they MUST do is update their ticket booths in all national parks to take chip and pin. The swipe is so open to fraud, and outdated technology. My card issue did not support it! Other than that, perhaps vice people maps do they can see where they are.

Amazing views which you should see from both Brazilian and Argentinian sides. We did it on the Brazil side which was very crowded in the morning, but the views are breathtaking.

Everything was amazing and very well organized. Booking your ticket online is suggested in order to avoid the queue. It's possible to do the whole tour in one day, it will take approx. 5-5,5 hours if you also stop for photos (like me)😅 The macuco path was really nice and there is a big possibility to see many animals on your way. It's a bit tiring though, because if the sun is up, the heat is too much. There is a small waterfall at the end when you can also have a refreshing dive, as an exchange! 🌈Spectacular experience overall.

Iguazu falls, Argentinean side!! Lovely place and experience!! You need to see both sides! Every side has its own beauty, but this side its more adventurous specially If you will get a boat ride in El Diablo falls!! When you go its a good thing to have spare clothes with you, because you might get wed (we did because if the boat ride)! If not then you will be fine. You definitely need a waterproof jacket and sporty, casual clothes :).

On the border of three countries, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, there is a national park and one of the wonders of the world, the largest waterfalls in the world, Iguazu. You must come and visit, enjoy the view of the power of nature and feel that power on your skin. Before you come, google info about this national park. You will not be sorry. After a speedboat ride under the waterfalls and a walk in the national park, you will go home satisfied and fulfilled.

Beware, the main waterfall Devil's gate that you have seen on pictures is off limits. A lot of sight seeing locations are off limits too because of recent events. In short, you will see just 40% of the park that you can walk in 1.5 hours. If it rains and it rains often here, then Macuco route, tour boats and rafting will be unavailable too. Entree costs are 20 usd in January. Food ranges between 5 and 30 usd. Boat tour costs 50 usd.

Falls are spectacular, great photo ops, open car train ride is close quarters, 4 to a bench. Lots of fun, go early. Park opens at 8 AM, gets very crowded. 1 kilometer walk on a bridge each way, several rest stops along the way.

  • 5/5 Kevin M. 4 years ago on Google
What a place! Rightfully it has got worldwide acclaim as it really doesn’t disappoint. Unfortunately we didn’t get to go to the Argentine side of the falls but the Brazilian side was also very impressive! Not sure we would advise doing the boat ride at €50 per person as it feels very brief and not really worth it. Would return to see Argentine side at some point in the future.

  • 5/5 Bojan D. 4 years ago on Google
Very nice waterfalls. The upper circuit is kinda useless. Lower circuit gives some great views and ability to get really close to the falls. And Niagara Falls is way better than the "devil's throat"

  • 5/5 Tom H. 4 years ago on Google
Simply once of the most spectacular locations on earth. The Argentinean side puts you right up by the waterfalls (while the Brazilian side gives a better, but not quite as amazing, overviews). There are the main trails you can walk, each offers views of different waterfalls, with the Devil's Throat putting you right over a three sided waterfalls (bring waterproof clothing and something to cover your bag for this). At least once in your life, visit here.

You must see this beautiful beautiful water fall once your life. Well organised national park. You can walk around with thongs. Enough to see all falls and do activities in one day. Boat riding was amazing! You can go very close to water fall and so much fun!

  • 5/5 Ruben van der V. 4 years ago on Google
Beautiful national park. Great walkways to explore the waterfalls, and the small train gets you where you need to go at decent speed. Make sure to walk pretty much everywhere except the Devil's throat; distances aren't too bad at all. I also recommend the boat ride, the experience is pretty amazing!

Fantastic place to visit, try to go early (bus at 7:30) to beat the crowd. First start with the eye of devil, then upper trail and then lower trail. In afternoon you can also do some trekking south of the park. There are also tours to get the boat and go under the small waterfall (50$), this takes 2 hours. If start early, you can do all in one day.

Absolutely stunning place. I’m sure the guides that you pay extra for do a very good job but I enjoyed the experience without. It’s easy to make your way around and while very busy it’s well organised. Take sun cream and water.

  • 5/5 Mike M. 4 years ago on Google
I have visited waterfalls in many countries and none so far compare to this. I arrived at 8am and was on the first train so i can't say how busy it gets. There is a lot of walking which includes stairs but i would say almost everyone can do it... just take your time and go at your own pace. In my opinion the Argentina side offers the best overall experience but if at all possible both sides should be visited.

The Argentine Side of Iguazú Falls is really spectacular, giving proximity and breathtaking views all the time. The walkways (catwalks) are over the upper&lower parts of the Iguazú River (the one that creates the falls) and at some points one can get right on top the the edges of the falls like at the Devil's Throat. We recommend and early start specially during the high season (September to April) and try to get the very first train of the day around 08:30h. Start off with the Devil's Throat first, and then the Upper Path a stop for lunch/snacks/rest and then in the afternoon the Lower Path. Doing so You skip the crowds and the noise from the big tour groups besides lower and cooler temperatures at the Devil's Throat.

This park is very nice. Just be aware there is a lot of walking so make sure you wear good shoes. Also the food here is not very good so be aware of that. Other than that the park is absolutely amazing they have three main Trails which will take you basically all day if you want to walk all of them. If you want to choose one of the walking pass I highly recommend the lower walking path. And devils throw I would take the train. And once you arrive there there will be a very long path to actually get there. Long story short when you're visiting here be ready to walk.

Very expensive park! Entrance and car park is over 100 reals! Boat ride almost 300 and food court, crazy expensive! A hamburger is 34 reals! NO social distance in force on bus, boat ride or other transportation. They believe face mask 😷 is enough. Bring change of clothes since boat ride make you soaked. Bring water and food. English speaking staff, signs and announcements is however very good. Avoid Sunday's when park very busy and people from Paraguay also comes. Please note, most of the falls is on the Argentinan 🇦🇷 side so you see it in a distance. Border closed so only Brazil side possible to visit. Bring mosquitoe repellent since they are huge and plenty.

Probably the most magnificent sight I have the ever seen in my life. These are the largest waterfalls in the world and the views are spectacular from either country. We visited from the Brazil side and also took a helicopter ride over the falls which I highly recommend. Plan to spend a full day here because the lines are long and it takes a while to get in. Once you’re in, you also need to take a bus ride to the falls and then there is lots of walking so bring water and maybe something to eat. You won’t regret this trip and you will see sights that you will not see anywhere else in the world. Oh and you will get wet! Have fun!

What can I say about this national Park other than it is a wonder of the world and I can see why. The waterfalls are so spectacular and massive and the sub tropical forest filled with amazing animals. I would recommend wearing walking shoes or hiking boots and dress comfortable. Definitely bring water to stay hydrated along the way. The trails are extensive and quite scenic. If you arrive early in the morning you will see more of the wildlife as they tend to hide when it gets hot mid afternoon. Entry fee is reasonable and there is a great hotel on site as well that serves a great lunch.

Much better than Niagara Falls. Falls are much wider and also more varied in their shapes and sizes. The forest hike on the Argentinian side is also well maintained and covers a variety of interesting vantage points.

  • 5/5 Vero S. 3 years ago on Google
Una maravilla de la naturaleza increíble! Quisiera volver más adelante no pudimos acceder a la pasarela inferior porque nos dijo la guía que hubo derrumbe de piedras y no es seguro por el momento para los turistas.

  • 5/5 Elias Jurasek L. 3 years ago on Google

I’ve been there three times, each times the big waterfall shows us different scenery. The last time I’ve got there, the 180° rainbow arch came up and that was AMAZING. Hay que probar al lado de argentina cuando termine este pandémico.

One of the wonderful place to visit and specially take boat ride. One of the best day I spent in Argentina. If you are visiting here visit Iguazu.

  • 5/5 Gloria P. 2 years ago on Google
You can either buy the tickets there or online. Better use pesos to buy them. After getting in, go get the ticket for the train ride to the "garganta". It's free. The falls are amazing. I suggest go to the lower part first, then to the upper part.

  • 5/5 J R. 2 years ago on Google
This place is absolutely perfect. The falls are gorgeous, calming, and a lot larger than I expected them to be. I would recommend taking a zodiac boat ride where they take you up under a couple of the falls.

  • 5/5 Wilmer M. 2 years ago on Google
Awesome place to visit and a must to take the boat ride

Second time here and it's always a blast coming back As usual the place is busy. Recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you'll be walking a lot. Buy your tickets online! Signage around the parks are well indicated.

  • 5/5 Gloria P. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place to spend at least 3 hours there. A lot of walking even with the train ride. Get the tickets there paying in pesos because it costs much more using credit card since the currency exchange is not worthy.

  • 5/5 Birk R. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing park, had really good weather there and the boat ride was also really nice. Entrance fee is around 3000 Boat tour 9000 which is kinda expensive but if you wanna experience everything you should do it!

  • 3/5 Claes L. 2 years ago on Google
The waterfalls are amazing. No doubt about it. It is a beautiful nature and you see some "wild" animals, that unfortunately have become so used to people their natural behavior has been eradicated. The problem for me is the absolutely ENORMOUS amount of people they let in at the same time. You cannot speak about an experience in nature when it feels like a crowded day at Disneyland. The "food" in the food court is a definite NO! It might have been the worst and most overpriced meal i have ever paid for.

  • 5/5 Mindy C. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing! AR side trails have steel mesh walkways which flex (easy on the feet). Grand Adventure is so worth it (sorry kids under 12). BZ side has great views, walkways are very hard with staircases, wear soft grippy shoes. Bring a cheap rain poncho to both sides, you will thank yourself many times over.

  • 5/5 Nir S. 1 year ago on Google
Great park! The waterfalls are amazing. We took a boat ride, that comes very close to the falls. There are some nice trails to walk and watch the falls. The park is very clean and has a good buffet restaurant

  • 5/5 John B. 1 year ago on Google
Well run, organized, reasonable park entrance fee, spectacular sights. Taking the boat trip is costly for the 10 to 15 minutes you're actually on board. Do the money conversion, before you pay up.

No words on the amazing falls. However, maps and signs are either outdated (several paths out of order for 5y at time of review) or just plane wrong (not preserving angles or distances whatsoever). Don’t bother using the train for those few meters.

  • 5/5 DERYCK E. 1 year ago on Google
Visited Argentina side from Brazil well worth the effort. The ease of crossing border and excellent experience of seeing all the falls a real WOW. Go early as park opens to get time without crowds on the trails. At present the Devils throat is closed and lower trail only half is passable. The upper trail is easy walking and full one way circuit. The lower/inferior trail is hard work with stairs and two way traffic on narrow walkways. At 62 and 68yr couple it was hard walk. Staff all good.

  • 5/5 Marcelo S. 1 year ago on Google
Go by local bus. Avoid guides and travel agencies that will rush you. Do it at your own pace. Let each bit of the experience sink in.

  • 5/5 Matthew D. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent views of the falls. A bit more limited space and more crowded than the Argentinian side but the views make up for it.

Get tickets in advance and go early. We walked for about 5hrs even though the 2 devil's throat routes were closed. I'd suggest seeing this side first, if you're planning to also see the falls from Brazil.

Amazing experience with the nature u can take a bus from Foz the iguazu or from the downtown on the Argentinian the leave u there and you can buy the park tickets online, from there u can go back to ur place either on the Brazilian side or Argentinian since its going to be the same bus,

  • 5/5 Simon P. 1 year ago on Google
Unmistakably one of the most beautiful places in the planet. The upper devil's throat was closed due to some flooding damage but there were so many trails to wander and explore. The crowds weren't too bad and there were so many butterflies everywhere!!! They really should call this butterfly national park.

  • 5/5 Paula N. 1 year ago on Google
Most beautiful place in the world. Make sure you start early so you can do every path and enjoy the time without running. The boat tour to get a shower under the waterfalls is totally worth it!

  • 5/5 Itamar N. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing place, must visit! The waterfalls are absolutely stunning and breathtaking. You can do the walking route and take pictures really close to the water. Moreover, you can do the boat thingy which they take you inside the water and into the waterfalls (you get all wet) totally worth it!

  • 5/5 Aaron C. 1 year ago on Google
Incredible experience. I would recommend arriving so that you can enter the park at 8am. I would then get the first train to devils throat and walk quickly to the platform. This will give you the best chance of seeing devils throat without hoards of people. Unfortunately, the lower deck is currently under renovation so it was closed. Bring clothes you don't mind getting wet and protect your electronics/passports/documents in a dry bag!

  • 5/5 Jahvni P. 10 months ago on Google
Very beautiful nature. This place is must see, it has a natural beauty! Once you get your ticket from front and as you enter please make sure you stop at next desk to get the tickets for the train if you are not planning to hike. Make sure to take some snacks and water as you go up as lot of walking makes us hungry and thirsty.

  • 5/5 Samuel T. 9 months ago on Google
What an event! All day hikes, good food, and amazing scenery. Brings life into a little more focus. Lots to see before I kick the old bucket and start pushing up daisies and I'm very glad I included this place! Country number 41 for me and counting!

Such a beautiful place! Highly recommend visiting both Argentina and Brazil side! Also DO the BOAT ride!! (But expect to get soaked). It was so much fun!!

  • 5/5 James 8 months ago on Google
A must see location. Beautiful waterfalls and so much wildlife. I recommend spending the extra money for a ticket on the boat tour. Definitely go towards the end of your trip in the park because you are going to get wet

  • 5/5 lindsey c. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely amazing what nature can do. The tour we went on, the Argentinian side of the falls, included going on a speed boat into the Falls. Be prepared to get VERY wet. Such a fun experience and there's a video to purchase at the end, at about 15 US$, not a rip off at all. You may get to see wildlife too. We saw a Cayman umpteen colourful birds, butterflies, a snake, although no monkeys. Fabulous trip

  • 5/5 Charmine N. 9 months ago on Google
What am amazing place. A once in a lifetime trip I will never forget. The falls are awe-inspiring and the animals are so great to see. Glad I made it to see them all

  • 5/5 Miss C. 11 months ago on Google
It's absolutely breathtaking. It's hard to believe it's not on nature's top wonder list. Was able to experience both sides Brazil and Argentina. Highly recommend spending at least 5-6 hours leisurely walking and enjoying the view. Took a mini boat tour, which takes you close to the waterfalls. So much fun!! Make sure to wear waterproof shoes....you will get wet! Aside from watching Argentina win 2022 World Cup while in Argentina, the waterfalls were another enjoyable highlight!

  • 5/5 Graeme H. 11 months ago on Google
Visiting iguazu falls from the Argentinean side is amazing. Devils throat is definitely a highlight. Such powerful amount of water. Prepare to get a bit wet from the spray. A must do if you are in Brazil, Argentina or Paraguay as can be easily reached from either.

Totally magnificent and if you are within a thousand miles you absolutely must go. Excellent walking trails and very safe and a small free train that takes you about 2 miles to the other side. Just fantastic and amazing.

  • 5/5 Danny 4 months ago on Google
Really well organised. Clean and tidy. Easy to get around all the trails. Some absolutely amazing sights. Entrance was $20USD, need your passport to get in. Boat ride was $40USD, for the adrenaline junkies!

  • 5/5 Will C. 7 months ago on Google
This may be the best place in the world to observe waterfalls. The pictures don't tell a complete story. Getting wet, hearing the roar, feeling the vibrations, and seeing the different falls across a vast area makes Iguazu National Park amazing.

  • 5/5 Yu F. 8 months ago on Google
Great park, a bit pricey entrance fee. You enter with a shuttle leaving every half hour and have a nice walk looking at the falls. With luck you may see some Coatis.

  • 5/5 Βασιλική 6 months ago on Google
It was perfect !!! It was speachles!! There are no words to describe it.It worth to do the sailing under the falls and to fly with a helicopter above the falls. Both of them are an amazing experience!!!

It's stunning...dont miss seeing this! Did the Brazil side one day and the Argentine side the next. And don't miss the Grand Adventure...take the boat ride into the spray of the falls! It was amazing!
