Great flavors! Fun experience to try new flavors! I have to say the crab leg popcorn was delicious!

Where do i start? The cheese is a winner, the Chicago mix is outstanding. My personal favorite is the White Cheddar. You really have to treat yourself to the pop culture experience. It’s not your average popcorn establishment. Highly recommend.

Okay- so I used to love popcorn. I mean I’m a huge movie fan. When I was a child, my godmother and my mom would take me to a movie each week. Now that I’m grown, movies are still one of the things my mom and I love to do together. So, of course, popcorn will always make me think of happy times. That being said, I truly cannot stand how the kernels get stuck in my teeth and how awful I feel after eating endless amounts in the movie theater. BUT THIS POPCORN IS DIFFERENT! SERIOUSLY, I don’t know how they do it, but it’s the puffiest, least kernel ridden popcorn I’ve ever had! So please, do yourself a favor and try this gourmet popcorn! ————- Our experience: We saw this place from across the street while walking around Homewood. When we got to the storefront, the sign said open, but we thought it might be closed. Happily, the door opened and we notice a young lady behind the counter. We walked around and saw a ton tubs of different popcorn flavors. I immediately asked the lady’s favorite. She asked if I meant the store favorites (customer’s most purchased) or hers. I said hers. She responded that she likes the flaming hot mixed with the cheesy caramel. This sounded like an awesome combination! However, given my fructose malabsorption, I am hesitant with anything caramel and asked if she knew if it was made with HFCS (high fructose corn syrup), which she did not. So, I ordered the FLAMIN HOT as a mini. My BF ordered a mini KETTLE CORN, and a mini CARAMEL. Since we ordered 3, she informed us that we would get a 4th free! I chose the CARAMEL SEA SALT- knowing that he would eat it if I could not. The employee wrote labels for each of our flavors, stuck them on the mini bags, then pulled down the tubs of the flavors we chose, and filled the bags. Our total was around $15 + tax and tip. The moment we walked out, I tried the flamin hot. I was suspicious that the popcorn might be stale because there were no other patrons, but to my delight, it was not! It was fresh and delicious. The flamin hot taste exactly as you’d expect them to taste, like the seasoning on flaming hot Cheetos! Next, I eyed my bag of caramel sea salt suspiciously. The popcorn looked like it was dusted with powdered sugar rather than caramel. I popped one in my mouth and wow. Sweet and salty, my favorite duo! It tasted as though the popcorn had been doused in salted butter with powdered sugar. Almost like the deliciousness you used to - or in my case, still do - lick off your godmother’s whisks when she made crumble topping for cakes. It isn’t that texture, but it is that flavor of sugar, butter, and salt. Maybe there is caramel under the powdered sugar, but perhaps not… since, after all, what is caramel but sugar, butter, salt, and cream. We both agree, this was the best flavor we chose. We will definitely be back.

The owner caught me on the street and invited me in. Well, color me very pleasantly surprised. Homegirl has ALL the flavors! 😋 And they were all good! Some were better than others, and they will custom mix for you from what is available as well. Employee was pleasant and patient as I sampled and sampled some more. Lol, but I went home happy. Took home a mini bag of hot wing ranch mixed with cheese-covered caramel, among others. I love being able to support local businesses, so I will definitely be back.

This popcorn is amazing! And it stays fresh longer than other vendors due to the packaging. I moved from the Chicago area a while ago so I have to get my popcorn delivered and I'm able to snack on this popcorn weeks after it arrives! I recommend the Hot White Cheddar and Sea Salt Caramel =)

All their popcorn is fire!!!! Bunch of flavors you never imagined would taste good together but they do. And you can try before you buy. I grabbed 4 bags. Had to hook the family up too. Definitely going back.

This popcorn is by far the worst popcorn I have ever tasted. I ordered a couple bags and the popcorn was very stale and tasted horrible. I will never order from them again. The flavors for every one I purchased tasted way off. There are way better popcorn shops out there and most of them are not as expensive as this popcorn. PLEASE BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE CAUSE THIS POPCORN IS NOT IT.

Shocked me how many five star reviews this place got! Brought my kids here two weeks ago. I really wanted some cheese and Carmel popcorn. The place always look closed from the outside. The inside setup look a bit off to me. They keep all the popcorn in these storage looking containers on a metal rack. My boys got the Flamin Hot popcorn which was too hot for my liking.Don’t know if the popcorn was spicer than usual and that’s why they didn’t finish it. They usually finish anything spicy, you know how kids their tastebuds are. For myself the popcorn was flavorless. Not enough cheese or Carmel flavor. The cheese flavor was very bland and the Carmel was nonexistent. I do like however they’re reasonably priced. You can get a mini bag for about $5 or less. I get everyone likes their popcorn their way however for me, I like all the flavor I can get. As far as this place, I’ll take a pass and stick to my usual popcorn spots. However if you’re in the area and down for some popcorn 🍿 take your shot.

Amazing popcorn flavors, excellent service. The mesquite bbq popcorn mixed with the pepper-and-dill popcorn was so good. The cookies-and-cream popcorn - delicious. Many many many other flavors.

I brought popcorn for a party for the popcorn table. The popcorn was good and fresh. Everyone at the party loved the popcorn. It was delicious.

Some of the best popcorn I've ever had! I love the variety of flavors offered. Recently I ordered a tin of popcorn to be sent to relatives out of state. The speed and accuracy of the order was a refreshing experience! Definitely try Popculture, and order several varieties, you won't be disappointed!
