HOW does this hotel have 4 stars?!?!? 🤢 I was here approximately 5 minutes. The lady at the counter was nice. The room was so nasty, the curtains had mold all over them, the curtains were ripped up, it was dirty all over the room, the bedding under the sheets looked like dry bugs, stuff was broken. Hands down nastiest hotel I’ve ever been in.

I've stayed in quite a few comfort inns & Suites , and I know they lean toward the budget side of the hotel spectrum. But this was by far the worst one I've stayed at. There was no toilet paper at all. There was no complimentary bottle of water. It was a suite with a sofa bed, which we picked as we were a family of three... however there were no sheets or pillows or blankets provided for the sofa bed. No towel for the third occupant either. Everything had to be requested individually as apparently its their standard practise to not leave extra bedding material in the room. The lobby was messy and there was also a pair of underwear in the nightstand..🤦‍♂️. The staff were courteous and helpful but that doesn't make up for the state of the room or lack of preparation for the expected three occupants.

To start, the elevator doesn't work. My room is on the 3rd floor SMH When you elevator isn't working, you need to bring those regular prices down a way lot more. Secondly, if breakfast ends at 930, please have eggs on the station at 910. They turned the waffle maker off at 915, no ma'am turn it off at 930. Simple. Lastly, the pillows gotta be about 10 years old. Super scrunched together. I'm scared to lay on them. Stop charging 5 star prices, with 2 star ratings.

This hotel was about what I expected for the price. It’s a bit run down and dingy, but tolerable for one night for the price. The main problem was that there was another guest playing drums in the parking lot between 7 am and 9 am. I went to the front desk to complain around 8:45 am and the clerk said they told the drummer to stop. But by then it was too late and I was wide awake. The only reason we chose to stay at this hotel was so I wouldn’t have to insanely drive over an hour home at 2 am. Now I’ll be driving home on no sleep. So I’m giving this hotel one star because what good is a cheap hotel if you can’t sleep?

I normally enjoy my stay here when I'm in town. The rooms are very nice and clean. You may have a few little tweaks that may need to be tended to before you get settled as the rooms sometimes have missing items like toilet paper, etc. The only major problem I have had every stay I at night you start to smell marijuana in the hallways even though it's a non smoking facility. Another perk is that it is located near the freeway and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Decent place to stay. We experienced a few issues during our visit to the Lansing area. We arrived at 2pm which is an hour before check in. They were gracious in providing a room early to us, however the room we first got was clearly under renovation, so we got moved. The pool was also closed during our stay, which was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. I heard kids in there at one point (as did my kids who then also really wanted to go) but when I asked again they said it was only open for employees and their kids and that it would reopen in a couple days (we weren't staying that long). There was a noticeable weed smell sometimes (not all the time). The breakfast was really good with lots of options - make your own waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, juice machine, coffee machine, etc.

Very uncomfortable Bed. Lobby a/c is out. They do not have ANY soap in this hotel. None in your room and the front desk doesn’t have any. Imagine the COVID spread when people can’t wash their hands. Very disappointed. Beds are one of the most important elements in a good night sleep. Can NOT recommend this hotel at all. Rename to UNcomfort inn

I got a deal for a 4 star hotel that was $40 cheaper than this hotel, so I canceled the reservation within 8 hours of making it. I was told there was no problem and my refund would be immediately released. I was also told that "because I booked through a third party website, it may take additional time for them to refund my money." The website I booked through was Choice Hotels and they own Comfort Suites. A week later, I still had not received a refund, so I called the hotel. I was then told that "there was a non cancellation for the room that was booked" (which is not what I read when I booked.. it was supposed to be up to a 20% fee) and they are keeping the $159.95. This happened less than a week from Thanksgiving and I had to make a meal for 7 people off of $30. This was my very first experience with this hotel, and I didn't even get to stay there to get ripped off. I will NEVER book another room through this company and I advise you all not to either. From what I have read, many others have had the same experience.

The beds were really comfortable and we could get some good night's sleep but The rooms were really old and the carpet was so dirty, all families were given rooms on the third floor! And it seemed like they had their worst rooms on the 3rd floor.. So if you're going here, request for a second it a first floor room, I'm sure you won't be disappointed 😉

Room was pretty decent aside from carpet stains. Bed was lumpy but not the worst. Worst part was elevator was out of service and my room was on the 3rd floor. The stairways have no ac so it is very hot in there. Carpet in the hallways and stairways as you can see is gross and dirty. Smelled of drugs. But I did not get the feeling of being unsafe. Once I was in my room all was well. But in my opinion it is not worth over $100. More like 60-70

I made a reservation a day and half and made sure they had a pool and it was open. They said yes and sure is. Now we drive almost 400 miles round trip to see our grand child. We get there. The pool is closed there are dirt sheets still the fold out couch and the microwave will not work. The elevator is broken and the drapes look like they are going to fall off the wall. The shower curtain is bent up and coming off the walls. Stains on the carpets the only reason give this place one star is that it was ok quiet and the bed was good. Would not stay there again I would rather sleep in my car and save myself $200 plus dollars. The breakfast I had to ask for a plate wait on some eggs let’s just say it was not the best breakfast or maybe the worst one but it was almost a tie. They did mock off $40 our stay. I would of gladly paid the full price if we could have used the pool sense it rained the whole weekend. ☹️

Elevator broken (staff said for at least two months). Had to carry all family luggage up flight of stairs. Pool permanently closed. Room had been smoked in and smell covered with bad air freshener. No spare linens for fold out bed in room. The front desk had sheets but was out of blankets. Requested room discount as kids could not swim and all the rest. No discount given. On the good side, the property felt mostly safe and the staff was mostly friendly.

We had ants in our room. Then our daughter opened up the sleeper sofa and there were soiled linens still on the bed! They moved us immediately to another room. Pool is small, but adequate. Free breakfast was decent. $135 per night

Had the nerve to charge $150 to stay in a room with a dirty scratched up refrigerator scratched up furniture and gum or something stuck in the side of the couch had to get my bed made up over because there were a big brown spot on the sheets. Somebody hair in the bed... and the one most important thing no elevator and I iwas on the third floor wasn't told the elevator was broken until I start bringing my luggage in..SMH

We were greeted by a friendly and informative staff. While there was absolutely no view, the room was reasonably well appointed with a very comfortable bed and ample space.

2.5. Good hotel for a quick overnight stay. I wouldn’t recommend it if you are into luxury. It’s a bit outdated. Their gym consisted of 1 treadmill 1 elliptical. They do have a pool. Their free breakfast is not good.

NOT Quiet!!! When I think about a hotel I think about a place that is comfortable where you can rest peacefully and enjoy your stay. This hotel is the worse I have ever slept in and I’m so mad and angry. I regret choosing this place for my stay for work. First of all it had a very bad smell receiving you at the entrance of the hotel and in the hotel overall but when I got to my room I thought it wasn’t bad anymore so I tried to stay positive. Throughout my stay I didn’t sleep well and kept been waking up by doors being opening and closing by someone in the neighboring rooms at 2 am and at 3 am so ended up not sleeping anymore. Given the fact that I’m pregnant I was feeling very anxious, my heart was beating fast and I had massive headaches from being sleep deprived. So after 4 am I managed to sleep again but at around 5 am now it was the person staying right above me (I was on the 2nd level as there are only 3 levels) kept walking up and down and the noise was so loud so much that I couldn’t sleep anymore and my discomfort kept getting worse. The machines in my room were also too loud. Couldn’t bare it so woke up to get ready and left the hotel. If all the rooms are this way which I think they might be since the building is very old, then it is truly not as comfortable as the name Comfort suites. I so hated my 2 nights here and I will never come back nor choose this branch again when traveling for work.

Nice location for an late stay just to sleep. Nice desk clerks. However the hotel needs updated just fresh paint over outdated everything. If you need somewhere just to sleep it's cool. If I was in the area on vacation I would not have left anything there.

Worst comfort suites experience. They didn't have enough towels and we got big Ines from the pool area. Housekeeping didn't clean our room even after 2 requests. Front desk staff wasn't available. Random people roaming the hall and knocking on doors at 230a. We didn't have a phone in the room and the toilet was slow to flush. The water didn't have any pressure.

As a travel agent I would never recommend your location again.  As a customer, I will never stay at that location in the future.  It was an humiliating and torturous experience. My entire family was sitting in the front lobby exhausted from a 12 hour drive. We had drove through the night to prepare for my dads funeral. Upon arriving at the 3 pm check in time, we were not allowed to check in. We were asked to wait until the room was cleaned. We waited in the lobby for 3 hours. My kids were sleeping on the lobby couch for 3 hours as your customers walk pass and was looking at us looking worn out, frustrated and tired.  I felt torturous and I was helpless. I booked two rooms. One room had roaches in it. It was a very uncomfortable feeling to be overly exhausted and having to sit in the lobby for 3 hours as they cleaned and seeing roaches in one of the rooms when we're able to go to our room. As a travel agent of 18 years, I have never experienced anything like this.

I would not recommend this hotel. I'm pretty easy to please- we were just on a road trip and needed somewhere to sleep. As long as it's clean and safe I'm good. I generously gave 2 stars because it was in a safe area. But the hotel was disgusting! We were on the 3rd floor, I doubt the hallway carpet has been vacuumed in the past 3 months. It looks like they were planning to remodel the hallway but quit midway? The shower curtain rod was barely attached making the shower curtain fall to the middle of the rod- hard to shower. The whole hotel was just dirty! The worker in the breakfast area was so lazy- there were messes everywhere and she just sat there on her phone with her shirt inside out🤦‍♀️ the pool was out of order, and the elevator made a loud alarm sound for about 10 seconds everytime we got it. It worked but was scary!! Find somewhere else to stay!!

Gotta say the staff has been very accommodating every time I've stayed here. However the new linoleum floors in the rooms lets you hear your downstairs neighbors as much as your upstairs neighbors. The printer in the business center hasn't worked right in about 3 months and they charge to make copies at the counter. Every night you hear other guests coming and going ALL NIGHT LONG. There is no quiet times observed here.

This place is a dump. I like to save money and know what I'm getting into with places like this. So I have a threshold for dealing with 2 star hotels. But dayum. This place looks like a landlords special. There is paint haphazardly over doors and walls. The floor is grode and slicky and gross. Broken glass on windows, furniture scratched to hell, most frustrating is the broken fridge that wasn't level and when I opened it water poured out (see video). Better hope you don't need anything when the manager is off duty because they won't be able to do anything. To be fair they offered a new room but with 2 kids and our stuff sprawled out that's not really an option. So best to avoid this one unless you are really in a pinch.
