Nice place to camp. The kids enjoyed it

I love our local Forrest preserves like wampum sweet woods etc but a recent rental of a pavilion was $500+ I feel our taxes have already paid for forrest preserves infrastructures like a pavilion with and if it's not being used people should be able to use it without being charged anything and if someone wants to use it they are put on a list and allowed to reserve it for that day for their group Imho anyway the grounds were well taken care of it's a great place to spend a beautiful sunny summer day on the lake the workers for the county preserve have done a great job with keeping it looking good

Very clean park, scenic and has a beautiful lake there. There are port a potties there if you need to use the bathroom. Beautiful geese, picnic tables and just a great place to have a picnic, lunch from work or just to get some peace and quiet.

Great location, nice and private. I love the shelter very big and spacious.

A nice small pond with only one small pier to fish off. Quaint. Park was clean and well maintained. Large clearing away from the pond also.

My family has been coming here for years!! My dad, his dad, so on. It's kind of a tradition. If your born in myfamily, odds are, you've been here!! From parties to cookouts, to fishing, to just hanging out on a bench!!! Its beautiful, clean (used to be cleaner) And always parking! Watch out for the preserve cops!!😂😂 -no glass bottles.

It used to be very nice for hiking. This time, they let it deteriorate. Very sad.

For some reason Wampum Lake wants to post as Brownell Woods. Brownell does not have a lake. There is a relatively small picnic area and some walking paths, some that follow the creek. Usually, it's empty.

It's a great place the workers there are very nice and respectful to the customer I am always thanked for my donation. I just wish they were not so picky about my iron level they always defer me when it's just 1 point to high and that frustrates me cause I drive a long way to get there just for them to tell me to come back tomorrow.

Decent forest preserve, with fishing and picnic areas. Lake needs to be cleaned as people have left trash.

This is a nice place to take a stroll in the woods, you can walk on the bike path, or take the trails, either way you will enjoy this place

It is a Cook County Forest Preserve. Outhouse available along with picnic benches.

Park was very nice and good place to go for family outings such as birthday celebrations and family reunion etc also the bathroom was very clean.
