😠 I am new to the area and brought my pug in for an ear infection. I have never had such a bad experience. First, they have you wait in your car ,and want to bring your pet in alone. When I asked why no one is allowed in the waiting room, I was told it's because they have problems with clients. That... Covid-19 prodical. Staff member comes out to car to take your pet in for their office visit.. Safety first. I wouldn't think of taking my pets anywhere but here. We took our cat Teddy in and found out he is diabetic in 2016. We were so nervous about giving him injections. Dr.Farrell walked us through giving him shots and when we had problems we called the office and they had us come in to answer our questions on injecting the needles. Veterinarian Molly Farrell and her staff has been so supportive. Our cat Teddy is now stable. Yes, I would recommend taking your pet there. POST SCRIPT: It has now been 3 months working with Vet. Farrell. You must keep follow-up appts., which we have, and talked with her about any concerns. Everything is going very well with Teddy. We will keep you posted. It is now 10 months later and Teddy is stable and doing very well. Since Vet. Farrell owns cats I feel she has a better understanding of cats problems. Teddy turned 15 June 2018... It has been a 16 months and Teddy is doing well. It is getting hard for him to go up and down stairs. But if I was old as he is in cat years I would have a hard time to. He will only eat Sheba in natural juices and I sprinkle a little fiber on it 2 times a day..... 3-2019 We just got Niko a seal point neutered 3 year old male birman. He is the sweetest cat. He will be good company for Teddy. Since we wanted a older cat because of our are age we didn't want a kitten, so we had to wait 7 months for a older cat. Saw DVM Farrell 3-4-2019. She check Niko out thoughly and he loved every minute. I think he would have stayed there forever if we didn't make him go back home with us.😻 Our Teddy passed away in September 2019. The staff at the clinic were very thoughtful and caring. We miss Teddy, but now he is with his brother Alvin playing in green fields of butterflies together.

I waited to write this review hoping I would change my mind or have a better experience. I loved Dyer Animal Clinic. It was the only place I would take my pets for years. The vet that I normally see left the practice and I had to see a new veterinarian. I took one of my pets in because I noticed a loose tooth. While there the newer veterinarian (Radencic) pulled my pets tooth before they were numb. I watched my pet howl and foam while she proceeded to say to him, "If you would have been brought in sooner you wouldn't be in this situation." Literally shaming me because I wasn't aware that my senior cat had gum disease. My pets are healthy, loved, and up to date. This woman was so cold and rude. I will not be back. Hopefully by now she has learned how to properly speak to people and show compassion. My one star is based on my experience with a particular veterinarian. The office staff are kind and the other veterinarian (Farrell) I have not personally seen.

It's nice to go-to a place where they love your pet as much as the owner. First visit was very professional mixed with a hint of personal touch. The techs were all very helpful and polite. Gave me an itemized bill and discussed treatment. The Dr. was very smooth with the shot. No hissing or crying. Staff recognize and practiced COVID protocols at all times. We definitely will be back for regular check ups.

Horrible uncaring place.. took a 13 y.o. dog I had rescued 4 months prior to my visit because he was coughing. Left with a 700.00 bill and was charged for everything under the sun. Turns out he has heart failure but they thought a nail trim (he was a rescue) and heart worm check were important. Front desk girl "K" was rude and uncaring. I got angry, over the phone, when (K) wouldn't let me speak to the Dr. about refilling my dogs cough med and cursed at "K" (the front desk girl who thinks she owns the place) She (K) banned us from the clinic and said if I showed up there she would call the police. I was very calm until she (K) became loud and belligerent with me... 10 minutes later I received an email with my dogs records. They were done with him. No compassion at all. Stay away from this horrid place. Also there were no threats or any other malicious actions or words by me. It was a phone call and you threatened to call the police if I ever came to the clinic again because I used a single cus word in my frustration....What a crock of lies your response is. SHAME ON YOU.

After numerous appointments and hundreds of dollars the (Doctor) here was unable to correctly diagnose and correctly treat an ear infection! Very disappointing to put your pets health in the hands of someone only to find them incapable of simple care. I am happy to say our new Vet easily diagnosed and prescribed medication that fixed my pet with only 1 visit and a follow up. If you are happy with care here ,you would surely be a lot happier and spend less elsewhere. Do the research I did and would never recommend Dyer!

Honestly, I was trying to not throw the staff under the bus by saying what happened with our dog there, but since you asked... We took our dog in for a teeth cleaning and ended up with a $1600 bill and a dog that had 31 teeth removed without our permission and without a phone call letting us know what was going on. The clinic tried to make it right by refunding some of our money, but I would not recommend this place to anyone after our experience. Our dog is 13 years old and did not need to go through that experience. Dyer animal clinic, you can look up our records and see why we left a 1 star review. Pretty sure it will be very clear.

Great care of pets! Professional and answer all questions no matter how small. When I lost my first cat they were very supportive/sympathetic. I knew when I got my next fuzzy friend this was the only clinic I wanted to take him to.

We have been long time customers of Dyer Animal Clinic and have had positive experiences with the doctors and staff until recent. We’ve been scheduling allergy shots 5 weeks apart for many months now. Our last appointment was December 12th and we asked to be scheduled 5 weeks out. We scheduled for the 19th. Apparently the front desk thought 5 weeks out was February 19th. Showed up this morning on January 19th and quickly learned of the front desk mistake. I was then offered a 1:50 or 3:00pm appointment for the same day which was nice considering their mistake. I accepted the 3:00pm appointment. Arrived back at 3:00 and was told by the front desk they had me down for 1:50. I politely called them out on their mistake only to be told they didn’t make a mistake, and that the 3:00pm was already full when they offered it this morning. How would I have known there was a 3:00pm opening in the first place if it wasn’t offered to me that morning? Caught herself in her own mistake… Needless to say, I have no more time for this office other than leaving a review to let others know to be careful with the front desk and triple confirm everything. Save yourself a trip and some time. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

What a disappointment. Looked around for a vet for my tiny Chihuahua and thought this would be the place. Waited for 40 minutes to get called in, then waited 20 minutes outside waiting to pay. The vet, sorry, was a joke. I doubt she has ever seen a Chihuahua before. She tells me he is under fed, too skinny..( he's a tiny dog). Then, she tells me he has water on the brain...( he's an Apple Head Chihuahua)..BUT before we left, was pushed to buy every shot, pill, or vitamin...( I bought nothing)...My new vet says he's a healthy, tiny, clearful dog. Oh, I don't want to hear from you guys, just so you know.

Took my cat here for a first time visit and this clinic is by far the BEST clinic i have ever seen. Everyone is so nice and sweet. They genuinely cared for my cat so well, gave him treats the entire time and made sure he was comfortable. I was seriously so relieved by taking him here and having him in good hands. I absolutely love them and would definitely recommend!!!!! ((:

I've only been going here for a short time but the vets and staff are great. You can tell they really love dogs! I do have a kind of major complaint. [EDIT: complaint is the wrong word, I mean annoyance] Not enough that would reduce stars, but....you can't just walk in the door...a remnant of Covid I assume, but when you arrive, you call them and they come out and bring in your dogs (you can join if you'd like). Same if you are picking up a prescription or anything else. You call, they take payment over the phone, they bring you your items. It sounds so efficient and easy, but every time I've called I get put on hold. Usually for a while, 10+ minutes. They are busy, or short staffed, or who knows. I'm an impatient person by nature so it's really frustrating if you just want to pick up a prescription but you have to sit in your car on the phone first for 15 minutes, but they are great vets so I'll bring a book. Totally worth it. I need a lesson in patience!

The care and attention given at Dyer Animal Clinic is remarkable. From our very first appointment with them, we knew they were different than the previous vet we used. Drs. Farrell and Radencic never failed to be anything but kind and helpful during each of our visits, patiently answering our questions and providing recommendations on how best to treat ear infections, allergies, and finally bone cancer. Dr. Radencic, Kayla, and Toni were exceptionally compassionate to my husband and myself when we finally had to say goodbye to our dog.

I have been going to Dr. Farrell since 2020 and she is such a knowledgeable, warm, down to earth vet who treats my kitties like her own. I had an issue with one of my cats and called around 11:00 to make an appointment. They were able to get me in the same day at 2:30. I just wanted to say how happy I was to have Kim & Dr. Tori’s help- they are both wonderful & really put my anxiety at ease by answering all my questions. They made sure that my cat was comfortable through the whole process (churus included), thoroughly examined him, and made sure he received the medical care he needed. Abby also helped get a tough blood draw very quickly without him even noticing (huge for him!). They treated him like he was their own and I can’t ask for more than that. Thanks again to all of them!

Late by 3 minutes and was turned away for my appointment time. And I actually mean “3” minutes. Not 5, 10, 15. THREE. Horrible customer service and how sad that their office staff has no idea how important customers are for a business like this. No recommendations at all.

We are recently new to the area and found DAC through google. Having 1 dog whos a giant potatoe spaz, and another one whos so afraid of his own shadow i couldnt be happier with Dr Ferrell and the staff! Everyone was so friendly and so patient with me 101 questions. My 2 dogs were shown patience, love, and all the treats ! By everyone! I was given alot of helpful tools for my ageing dog, Ive never been happier anywhere else ive taken my boys! She listened to many of my concerns, and the attention to detail on both dogs was very comforting. Knowing she didnt miss an inch. Thankyou Dr, and your amazing staff for caring for animals the way you do. Ill never go anywhere else again!

We are disgusted with this office. Today at 8:45 this morning, July 21, 2022 I called Dyer Animal Clinic. My dog has been sick for a couple of days and I called for an appointment for her with the owner Dr. Farrell who has always seen our dogs only to be told that her first appointment is August 9. I was told to go to the Emergency Clinic or a walk in Clinic. We have been patients for many years.

I just moved to the area within the last 6 months. Looking for a new vet can be scary. Not knowing anyone I had to take my chances on google reviews. Dyer Animal Clinic was my first pick and I am so happy I chose them! The Staff and Vets are the best of the best. They love my dog, he gets excited to visit his friends whenever we come and lately it’s been often for some health problems. I’m telling you I wouldn’t want any other Clinic to take care of my sweet boy.

Very helpful, friendly and thorough staff. They were very considerate and concerned. They went above and beyond many of the vets in this area, and I've been taking dogs do vets for a long time.

They always work with my weird dog to try to give her the best experience possible. They were also wonderful w my old man dog w options instead of just "put him down, he's old"...

All I can say is, our dog would not be alive today if it wasn’t for the incredible veterinarians and the rest of the staff at this clinic. They have been so understanding, informational, and helpful during her care. We travel from Valpo to Dyer just to see them because they’re the only ones we trust! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

New patient here and I am so happy I brought my dog here! Everyone was so friendly and informative to help my dog with diagnosing her. Very pleasant staff. We will be coming back and making this our normal vet! My dog Luna is very anxious at the vet and the staff was very patient with her. They gave her treats and kept petting her to give her praise.excellent staff!

I am new to the area and brought my pug in for an ear infection. I have never had such a bad experience. First, they have you wait in your car ,and want to bring your pet in alone. When I asked why no one is allowed in the waiting room, I was told it's because they have problems with clients. That should be a big red flag. Needless to say, I went into the office with my dog.The vet tech treated my baby like she was an object, not showing any kindness or care at all. She man handled my fur baby up to the point of clamping her nose and mouth shut, cutting off her breathing all together so the vet could hear her heartbeat. I was just in shock. She also was so harsh cleaning her ears that she drew blood. At the end of the visit I was asked to sign papers stating that I wold not get loud or curse at staff. Any vet office treating patients well would not need to do this. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you love your pet, do Not take them here!
