Explored the Riverwalk Park while passing through the area. It is a beautiful area that is family friendly and well maintained. The river itself is beautiful and peaceful. The river walk runs on both sides of the river and connects to the downtown area of Naperville. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Dog friendly. Great scenery for walk. Quiet with paths near river. Lots of interactive spots and opportunities for adventures. Welcome center, info booths and Millennium Carillon nearby. Can paddleboat here.

Very beautiful. A nice weekend gate away it is. You can opt for kayaking and boating over there. The price is 12$ per boat and 4 persons can sit on a single boat. There is an artificial beach but we didn't go there as we had no bathing suit.

Nice park to walk around. Lots of families and other people there enjoying the park. There was a street musician playing jazz. An interesting part was the narrow path by the river. It can be fairly wide but can also be quite narrow where it allows only 1 person to walk around. The riverwalk is quite long and goes from the park to downtown. You can catch a glimpse of some ducks or other fowl flying under the bridge sometimes. Great for a fall or spring walk.

Good walk place full of green environment. Meditative with green river Bridged over by heavy wooden bridges. The River Walk Cafe is located here also with amazing relaxing environment (see my separate review on that). Naperville generally provides excellent family atmosphere and great for kids as well. This river walk is very much part of the attraction that makes the city stands out. Definitely worth revisiting.

Love the riverwalk! Came here on my first date with my boyfriend and again today to mark 6 months. Very pretty now with the purple flowers. Was especially nice and breezy today in contrast to the high temps. A nice peaceful little walk.

Clean and well-kept Riverwalk and park area. Love how close you can walk along the clear, calm DuPage River but definitely need to be careful not to tip over into the river itself. Nice seating areas as well for both people watching as well as listening to bells played by the Millennium Carillon/Moser Tower. Beautiful landscape, trees, and ducks. Plenty of folks walking and enjoying the scenery as well as sights of professional photo-ops of folks for special occasions.

Naperville Riverwalk is a gem. Nice place to hang out! Ships are all around for food; history is there; great aura for the whole family

Love, love, love this place. It's my favorite place to go when I want to be close to the river. I've even done a few photo shoots over there! Love bringing my dog as well to walk around. You get a mix of everything one way is the park for kiddos then a path that loops around a forest area or the other way after you pass the beach you get a taste of downtown Naperville and the river.

Beautiful space to enjoy nature, animals, and just relax. It is refreshing to get away and be outside. We got to see a snake in the water, a squirrel, fish and some cool rocks. Highly recommend!

A decent walk along the river and you get to be near the centennial park and the Clarion tower. The padding boat and the kayak in the quarry lake is fun! Sometimes parking in the area is tough esp on the weekends.

I had a beautiful day with my family here and you can too. Tons of free stuff to do, live entertainment, and most of the people walking around are in a good mood and friendly. I brought my bird and she loved it. There are a lot of summer activities, and tons of nearby shops and restaurants to visit. I definitely recommend this place.

This park is located in a very nice neighborhood. The view is beautiful similar to Chicago river walk, but way smaller. There are nice places to sit and enjoy.

Very clean and nicely maintained park, beautiful scenes along the river. We also like the fact that they have trash cans all over the place, so convenient for dog owners!

A beautiful park area to bring kids, pets and just relax or have a picnic. Perfect place for a rejuvenating walk on the track along the water body. Open from sunrise to midnight and no entry fees. Has some workshops and stalls set up for Christmas near the Riverwalk cafe. Easy parking access. Was there at night time but would love visiting this place again during the day.

Beautiful place to roam around and take a romantic walk. The river is beautiful, and the water is clear with birds, ducks, and cranes. The path along the river was very clean. It's a little hidden gem.

It’s not as extensive as San Antonio’s but it’s a nice and enjoyable riverwalk. It has 2 paths and I wish the path by the river was not too narrow in some places. We also enjoyed the covered bridges, pavilions, and the restaurants nearby. Considering twigs and natural debris in the water, the park was well maintained overall.

Spending 4 weeks in the Chicagoland area. I was looking for a place to get away for a few hours. Found It!! You need to spend ample time here exploring the riverwalk, the area around the small lake and the large grassy hill by the parking lot.

We stayed at the Embassy Suite by Hilton in naperville. The river walk waz about 3.5 miles from the hotel (15$ by taxi). We did the walk twice, once going by tax and the other a long walk there and back from the hotel of about 10 miles. You can either walk alongside the narrow path on the river bank or the side of the river.. there are a number of bridges to cross from one side to the other. The river flow down towards downtown naperville. It a nice walk with lots of other people doing the same thing or running. Once you finish you end up in the shopping area and there are some really good restaurant and cafes for you to to get some refreshments. Total distance of the walk is 1.5 to 2 miles

I Always come here on my Off Days and gives me positive vibe and relaxation. Amazing libraries , free car parking and lots of restaurants and ice cream stores that range prices from cheap to expensive foods. Its really fun out here especially in the night. "There is no Place like Naperville Downtown" Also if you want to see the sky scrapers a few minutes of walk is enough to catch the Metra Service to The Chicago. Visit here and thank me later😉❤️

👍👍 Very nicely done river walk. Lots of areas for children to run around and they even have a man made beach, pool and lake. Very close to downtown Naperville so lots of dinning options and bars. Will come back again.
