My
wife
was
here
for
language
training.
The
rooms
in
the
Emmaus
House
were
comfortable
student
dorm
style.
The
food
in
the
cafeteria
was
uniformly
delicious,
well-presented
and
properly
cooked.
When
in
Lviv,
you
need
to
rely
on
bottled
water.
The
University
is
an
easy
thirty
minute
walk
from
the
town
centre.
There
are
many
locations
to
convert
money
to
hrivny's.
Staff
dealing
with
students
and
spouses
are
helpful.
It
can
be
hard
communicating
if
you
have
no
Ukrainian
but
it
is
manageable.
If
you
stay
on
the
5th
Floor
of
the
dorm,
ask
for
a
room
on
the
north
wing
away
from
reception.
Students
and
some
course
participants
used
it
as
a
party
hangout
well
after
10
pm,
making
it
impossible
to
sleep.
We
asked
to
be
moved
out
of
the
south
wing
and
we're
readily
acommodated.
Also,
be
prepared
for
folk
in
the
cafeteria
to
regularly
jump
the
line
and
they
show
no
mercy
when
walking
through
doors.
Turn
taking
seems
a
foreign
concept.
