Rescue bears from zoos are brought here. It’s one of Europe’s largest rehabilitation centers for brown bears with an area of 12 hectares in the National Park Synevir for the bears to roam around in. An ideal place for them surrounded by beautiful Carpathian mountains.

Quite a small place as most of the area is rightly reserved for the animals themselves. Definitely magnitudes better than the "zoo" across the street in terms of living conditions for the animals. the bears have a fenced off part of the forest where they can roam should they tire of onlookers but most will stay near the fencing where they get fed by staff and braver tourists.

The amazing center! Reportedly, there was a discussion whether to let visitors in to see bears, after the center was created. Because many of them were harmed and harassed by people. But for me it is a chance to acquaint many ones with the problem, since oppression of the animals is not spoken up in Ukraine so far. Unfortunately, the stories about each resident are written only in Ukrainian. I hope the center will eliminate this error soon.

Nove place, but if you are visitting with children pleace be carefoul. The safety cage has a huge windows and the teeths of the bears are so close.. I think this is very dangerous. Second problem is that there is novody who can speak about the bears. This place just collect money and if you are lucky you can see bears...

I was here during wintertime, beautiful but you can not see to much bears or most of them sleeping

I sincerely believe they do a great thing taking care of the animals that were grown beyond their natural habitat

I hope that bears are well fed although they don't really look like they are starving due to their chubbiness. The good thing is location under the open sky in a forest. The bears are enjoying it and are not bothered by presence of tourists at all.

A very large area. Bears seem feel good. Lack of tourism infrastructure. Toilet is terrible
