Giving this place a generous 3 stars. Definitely can't give it a legit recommendation, but in a town with so few restaurants it's definitely on par with most here.

The food was fresh which was great. The server was very friendly and attentive. Didn't have anything I wanted for seafood so I was a lot disappointed but the experience was nice.

Delicious food and kind staff

Prior reviews refer to Old Stone Grill as one restaurant and The Great Old House as another. The 2 restaurants have combined into the Great Old House location. The balcony is nice. Indoors a bit warm and stuffy. Given supply issues and still low numbers of tourists I've learned to ask either what is recommended or what isn't available to avoid disappointment. Again plan to wait. Even tap water took 20 minutes to be served. Pleasant staff just not quick. Credit card accepted.

Omg!! Fantastic food and drink in quaint little location on the edge of Roseau. Great staff and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again when I return to DR.

Not recommended to go to. Service was better than the frozen food, but the prices they are charging are not worth it

A very nice place to eat. The food was really taste. I asked the waitress, what she would recommend. She recommended the goat and I was really surprised, because it tasted really delicious. The Cheesecake was also very good. I would visit the old stone grill again.

The food that we did get was pretty good, but after our table of 8 had ordered, the waitress came back out and listed off all the things that they were 'out of'. Most people had to change their orders, and in the end it came down to about 3 things on the menu that they actually had in stock. And the waitress didn't really seem to care too much! We didn't go back again for the whole two weeks.

If you haven't been, then you need to visit Old Stone. The staff are a perfect mix of professionalism, courtesy and amusing. The cuisine is exquisitely unique. A visit to this establishment is a treat and worth the effort.

Lovely old colonial stone style building, must be a hundred years. Great food, friendly staff. Art work on the walls beautiful, wish they were for sale.

Never fail in food quality, service and right next door! And that rum punch will make you have to walk home...singing!
