Had such a great experience with Ana and Charles and their crew. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Great communication leading up to the dive really helped make me feel comfortable going with them. They also organized a taxi to pick me up and drop me off from where I was staying. I hadn’t gone on a dive in a while and they were really good about the briefing and going over all the equipment. The dive sites they took us to were relatively shallow at 18-20m and there were a few reefs. It wasn’t the best visibility and the aqua life there wasn’t the best I’ve seen but it was nice to be there. I am at a loss for the diver that led us (just me and one other person which was great) but he was awesome. Took some videos as well that were shared after the dive. Highly recommend going with Charles and Ana.

We LOVE our 6 dives the past week and can't wait to come back! The staff is some of the most professional and experienced we've ever had. We did two separate standard dives (two tanks on both trips) that were great and then went out a third time to the deep water wreck, which was amazing! They were great to help refresh our friends who has hadn't dove recently, going over the basic steps both in the drive shop and on the water at the start of the dive. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Charles, Ana and Nelson are great! Very friendly and very experienced (Nelson said he had over 2000 dives!). We felt very looked after and safe as we hadn't dived in a while. The dive sites are very close to shore too, so no long boat trips. Visibility could have been better, but can't be helped. We got some great local recommendations and tips too. Very nice experience, even better as we could play with their dog!

Had the best time diving with Ana and Charles. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We did a day and a night dive, and both were spectacular. I highly appreciated the time Ana took to help us improve our diving with tips and corrections. Honestly, it’s the best diving center I’ve been to in my country. Can’t wait to go back. Ana was a wonderful dive instructor for my friend who was taking the discover scuba. Ana was easy to switch gears when it was just her and I down when my friend did not complete the second dive. Ana is very observant and awesome to notice animals and point them out to me. I will definitely be back to this shop and would highly recommend the whole team. Domingo (el capitan), Ana, and Charles are very accommodating.

This was one of the best dive experiences I have had. Charles and Anna were superb. The debrief before the dive was informative and thorough, always with an emphasis on safety. My sister and I area relatively new divers and Charles was extremely patient with us. It was stress free, relaxing dive with plenty to look at underwater, including a fabulous statue. And as a bonus, you receive digital photos of your dove experience completely free. I highly recommend Dive Cabarete!

Dive Cabarete is amazing. Their staff tailored the fun dives for our group and created an explorative and casual dive through the reef. Because of their amazing team, I then took several classes with them during this trip including Peak Performance Buoyancy, Dive Against Debris, Emergency First Response and CPR, and Rescue Diver. They can make your dive goals happen, whether a fun dive or a certification.

Ana and Charles are a perfect team and they far exceeded our expectations. Prior to our trip to Dive Cabarete, we received welcome emails, plan details, confirmation plans, and additional emails to answer our many questions. I learned so much from Ana. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, supportive and funny. As a new diver, I felt anxious, and nervous but the staff at Dive Cabarete made me feel calm. Britney was friendly and so sweet. Domingo the captain was also friendly and helpful on the boat with getting my gear on and cheering me on. This entire team is top notch. I cannot express how much I loved my first open water dive experience with Ana. My boyfriend enjoyed his deep diving experience with Charles. Charles is friendly, knowledgeable and supportive during all the deep dives. If you come to this shop, you will not be disappointed. This team makes you feel like family!!

My son went through the PADI certification program with Charles and Anna and had the best time. So, we booked a trip for the family. On our trip, my son and I went diving with Charles. My wife and daughter went snorkeling with Anna. It was a perfect trip. I wish we had time to do more. Charles was very professional, safe, and fun. He gave me a refresher since I hadn't been diving in 15 years. It made my transition back to the water smooth and exciting. The dive was filled with Charles pointing out some of the most interesting sea life that I would have totally missed without him. Anna took amazing care of my wife and daughter. We went early, which allowed us to avoid the big boats full of snorkelers. She spent the entire time with them, teaching them some techniques and taking pictures. They also had a great time. They were up front with the pricing, which was refreshingly reasonable, and did not charge all those annoying extras. They provided us with all the pictures taken during the dive and the snorkeling. I highly recommend!

We booked snorkeling w. Dive Cabarete in the beginning of the trip. Charles dove w. us and shared his extensive knowledge about the underwater world. It was great experience but also both Anna and Charles were very kind and helpful; they introduced us places to visit and also people that made overall our Cabarete trip so fun and exciting!

Charles answers emails promptly and follows up with you. It was a great day diving with my kids. Out of all the dive shops this is the one to be with. While there plan the day. Go to the beach. Great alley of shops opens up into a fabulous cove to eat and swim and shop. They took Pictures and video for us too. Cute shirts and hats to buy too.. Yes we bought them all.

Ana was extremely helpful from the moment I contacted her via email to arrange discover scuba for me and my 2 daughters together, as part of our cruise stop. She was guiding me through the process, accommodated our tight schedule as we had to go back to the cruise port at a certain time. She arranged the entire schedule to fit our need and even arranged (with my request) a taxi for pick up and drop off. During the Scuba, she and her husband Charlie both were with us the entire time, trained us, guided us and paid special attention to one of my daughters who were not feeling comfortable first time under water. Both of them together made sure we have a pleasant experience and as a BIG bonus, Charlie took Pics and Videos for us!!! I would highly recommend Ana and Charlie with Dive Cabarete for all of your water fun activities!

Yesterday I had a great first dive with Angel. He showed me the Open Water skills and took me to 3 great sites to see reefs. We saw a lot of fish and some aquatic life I'd never seen before.

Enjoyed several days of diving with my family (5 divers). Angel showed us many great sites and very nice sea life. The captain took good care of us, and Miguel helped us in the shop. A great team that made our dive experiences very memorable - thank you!

I’d like to give a 5 star recommendation to Tim and team at Dive Cabarete. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, safe and comfortable on my dive vacation. The dives were excellent and the underwater experience far better than I expected. Seeing old canon, a large tortoise, and even getting inked by an octopus made the dives truly memorable. I first heard of Dive Cabarete from a guest at a dinner party on my 3rd day in DR. I contacted about a reservation via WhatsApp and while I didn’t have enough days for the full course I was suggested a discovery dive. I communicated with Ana at first and later Charles reached out on the morning of the dive as the plans for the run could potentially be canceled due to a large influx of some type of ocean seaweed (their concern was poor visibility and thus a subpar first experience). Ana and Charles walked me down to the beach so that I could see what they were talking about. I was told to wait as all the divers were in a holding pattern to see how/ if things changed. This level of candor and professionalism was much appreciated and is a testament to the type of people you’re dealing with at Dive Cabarete. In fact, Charles and the captain ended up doing a run out themselves to check the conditions and then called me back to confirm we were good to go. Nothing but patience from Charles in going over the basics and answering all my questions…I was really at ease. Definitely will return to complete the full padi course.

Wow, what a great experience! Being an instructor myself, I requested a more challenging and interesting dive, and boy, did they deliver. They took me out to a wreck sitting at 100ft and it did not disappoint. Miguel was so friendly and nice, Angel (an amazing Diving Instructor) was a great guide an spoke fantastic English, and Captin Diago was cool and competent at the helm. Tim (El Patron and fellow Vancouverite), you have a great shop. Hi praise coming from a other diving profession. 😁👍

It was so amazing to dive with ana and Charles. They both are so amazing and help with everything you need. I was more comfortable dividing because they are to nice. Ana help improve my diving skills and we got to see nice marine life. They both are amazing If you want to dive I highly recommend them. Hope to be back soon

My wife and I are advance divers and we took 3 days dive package at Dive Cabarete and really enjoyed it. All dives were quite relaxing without any rush so we could see all marine life on dive sites. All equipment was in a good condition and always prepared for us so no problems here. Communication via email was quite fast and we haven’t had any issues with the payment. We were a bit missed in the dive schedule but it seems was a system issue and it was sorted out right away. I have to say that dive instructors quite experienced here, and I even felt that I have to dive the whole my life to be even a bit close to such proficiency. Before every dive we had quick briefings on where we are going to, how we going to descend/ascend, what we are aiming to see there and etc. The captain of the boat was trying to drive it as smooth as possible and also always helped divers. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit Airport Wall dive site due to the weather condition even we really wanted to, but it’s better to be alive you know, so maybe next time. Overall great experience, can only recommend!

Ana, Charles and Captain Domingo were terrific. I completed my Open Water Diver PADI certification with Ana and she made the process extremely comfortable, straightforward, safe and fun. She recognized where I was strongest and where I needed improvement, shifting the to compensate for those learning needs. The whole team is extremely knowledgeable and a joy to be around. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in scuba or snorkeling in the Cabarete area!

Cannot recommend this dive centre enough. Unlike the many other tourist gigs on the street selling everything from boat party trips to diving courses, they didn’t jump on us to sell anything when we walked by. We got a serious and thorough run through of their offerings and a humble recommendation, which we took. The instructions was calm and detailed, and I was taken on a wonderful dive. The equipment was new, well-kept and clean and we felt in safe and competent hands.

What a great experience! So personal and very focused on safety which was huge for me, diving with a discover scuba and my dad who had not been diving in 10 years. The communication was consistent and accurate, and they even assisted with transportation which is not their job. Honestly can not recommend Cabarete more. Charles. Ana, nelson and capt made our dive and snorkeling experience one to remember!

I don’t even know where to start. I had such an amazing, life changing experience learning to dive under the expertise of Ana and Charles, and I will forever carry those memories. I began with the Discover Scuba course, which was very fun and professional, and an amazing glimpse into everything that diving has to offer. After that, I decided to learn more about diving to get my open water certification, which was one of the best decisions of my life! I am so endlessly grateful to Ana, Charles and Dive Cabarete for teaching me to dive. Ana supported me throughout the process, guiding me to ace my exams and become a confident diver. She worked with my school schedule to find times that worked for me so that I would be able to complete my certification. I have since gone to two different dive sites in countries other than the Dominican Republic, and felt totally capable of my abilities. I had such an amazing time learning and Ana is truly an awesome human being who I’m happy to call a friend. I loved every second of my course and time at Dive Cabarete with Ana. Everything was always safe, fun and professional. I would highly recommend it to any returning divers or those who want to learn!
