Beutyfull place with great view from hotel and very friendly stuff in the school!! As a beginner in kiteboarding was looking for place to learn!! And im very happy I choose dare2fly cabarate.I had every day class with good wind beautiful weather and warm water to practice!!Guys in the school were very helpful and passionate to help me improve my skills!! OVERALL AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!

My family has come to Cabarete for 5 years and taken kiteboard lessons each year. There are two main kiting areas in cabarete. Cabarete bay is very wavy and suitable only for advanced Kiteboarders. Kite beach is by far the best area to learn because it has flatter water. Of the kite schools we have tried, the best by far is Kite Point School at Kite Beach. Tracy and Jose Louis are friendly, organized and efficient. And they are super nice people. All of the instructors are professional friendly and good teachers. They all speak goodish English 😀. The Core kite gear was brand new. They have tons of gear for whatever conditions you encounter. Myself and my 3 adult kids all progressed a lot in our kiting this trip. Can’t wait to come back.

Great kite school! They have great instructors who can take care of you even if you’re a total beginner. The food and drinks at the café are really good and the staff is lovely. Perfect location directly on the beach!

Our 11 year old son wanted to join his big brothers in knowing how to kite so we asked around and we were highly referred to Kite Point school. It did not disappoint. Jerson (aka “Chongolito”) was excellent - very safe, patient, and gave our son the confidence to do it. After a few sessions, he was riding. An added benefit was Cocotaso where us parents could hang out, eat, and watch our son learn. Very happy with our experience!!

You will not find a better Kite school in all of Cabarete. Tracy (the owner) runs a top notch outfit with certified, friendly and bilingual instructors. Her team is very safety conscious, super communicative and mindful of making your kite experience super fun and positive. Kite beach is the ideal place to learn as the waves are way more manageable (as a beginner) and you will find a very cool and friendly community of like-minded enthusiasts. Stop by Kite Point Kiteboarding school (look for the yellow building off the beach - you will not regret it!

This was the third kite school I have used an by far the best. My instructor was extremely patient while assessing my ability and keeping me safe. He quickly identified my weaknesses and focused on solutions. I went from barely getting up to riding upwind in both directions with the expert help. I would recommend Cabarete Kite Point school to anyone thinking about learning to kite. The location and water conditions are perfect for learning. I will return for more skills and learn some tricks.

If you’re in Cabarete to kiteboard this is the place. Tracy and Jose run an amazing school with great equipment and coaches. I broke a kite during my lesson and when I came in Tracy the owner told me that’s part of the game and to get back out there! Set up a new kite and sent me back out like it was nothing. They are so amazing and treated us like family! Took lessons with Moreno and he was professional, patient and kind. Learned more during my time with him then I did when I was in Antigua and Squamish, BC combined. My boyfriend also took wing foil lessons and it was top notch. Best kiteboard school on the beach for sure! Relax and chill at their restaurant which also serves some amazing food!! Definitely don’t hesitate. They are located right by Aguilina resort in the heart of kitebeach. Thanks Tracy and team for a great time!

Absolutely amazing experience! Thank you so much Tracy and everyone at Cabarete Kite Point School! I came from Canada to Cabarete to learn how to kitesurf and Cabarete Kite Point School was the best decision! I purchased their all inclusive package, which included accommodation, 9 hours of lessons and food. My instructor, Edwind, was super knowledgeable, patient, friendly and he speaks great English! Lessons were thorough and helped me learned safely and with confidence. On my 4th day I was able to get on the board and ride both directions! 😃 all thanks to the great instructor! All the gear at school is new and they have huge variety of everything, to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. The food at elcocotazo cafe was spectacular! Super fresh and delicious. And they have the best spot on the kite beach to hang out, watch the other kiters and make new friends. I also got an amazing accommodation right on the beach with a fantastic view! Tracy, the owner, was super helpful and hospitable. It was my first solo trip and she made sure I felt safe and was very supportive. She made me feel like home. I just couldn’t be happier! Overall, it was absolutely amazing experience and I can’t wait to get back! I strongly recommend Cabarete Kite Point Kiteboarding school. Many thanks again to the best school in Cabarete! 😊

Great kite school, kite spot and food. We loved our time here! The owner and instructors were great, making us feel super confident during lessons for my husband and a refresher lesson for me. We stayed right on site at the little hotel and wandered out for kite lessons each day. When you’re done kiting, grab a bite at the delicious restaurant, watch sunset while you have a drink and live your best life!

Believe the other reviews, this kiteboarding school is awesome! Came to Cabarete with my brother-in-law to learn to kiteboard in 5 days and our instructors, Jeison and Moreno, had us both shredding by the end of the week. I went from complete beginner to riding upwind, transitioning, and even getting some small jumps in thanks to Jeison's expertise! The cafe at the school has great food/drinks and the best seating area on kite beach. The owner, Tracy, is really nice and responsive/helpful for those heading to Cabarete for the first time. Hoping to make it back soon!

I took lessons here with Jerison back in July/August as a complete beginner and had the best experience! Jerison was so patient and really helped me push through when I was nervous or lacking confidence! Tracy, the owner, was also amazing, so helpful and accommodating, as well as encouraging when I was scared! I wanted to quit a few times and she gave me some much needed pep talks! I really liked the way they did their pricing, it was perfect for what I wanted. And on top of that, the cafe at the school was the perfect spot to relax after lessons and it was such a fun time talking to the other students and hearing their experiences! Would highly recommend and if I'm ever back in Cabarete, will go back to them!

Definitely 5 stars for this place! I live in Cabarete and am renting a locker for my equipment at Cabarete Kite Point. Super attentive and friendly owners and staff (as far as I know everyone employed here is local which I find great and fully support!!), always someone around happy to help you to launch/land your kite with a smile. Big space with grass and compressor where to set up and pack down, fresh water to rinse your gear. There's also a nice Cafe (Cocotazo) right at the spot, offering great food and drinks for good prices which one can enjoy pre or post session. Big thumbs up and see you later on the water :)

Kite point is the best Kite school on kite beach by far! I would recommend them to anyone who is just getting into the sport or someone who wants to fine tune their technique. Very friendly and professional. Five stars for sure.

Fantastic kite school with very professional kite instructors. I was allowed to do 9 lessons with the kite instructor Moreno. I was super informed about every step of kitesurfing and felt very comfortable with the kite at the end. Big Merci to Tracy and the whole team! I would come again immediately🙂

Cabarete Kite Point Kiteboarding school wa great. Instructors were very intuitive and focused me on what I needed to do to get on the board and kiting! The equipment was great and the food right above the school was also very good. Also manager was well Organized.

This is hands down the best place for anyone wanting to learn how to kite surf for the first time or improve upon current level. They have taught our teenage son kite surfing for 3 spring breaks- from beginner to now a pretty dang good for a once a year kite surfer! We couldn’t be happier. Although son does speak Spanish I do not and every person we dealt with was able to speak English well. Everyone here was super attentive, honest, kind and experienced. Also there are some ridiculously accomplished instructors.

Tracy and her team were amazing. From getting me set up with a beach front condo to being in constant communication to make sure all my needs were taken care off. Alex (my instructor) was great. Got two 3hr sessions in and can't wait to come back to do some more! BTW, be sure to enjoy the Dominican breakfast right upstairs at El Cocotazo restaurant. Was my daily go to.

We booked a two bedroom ocean view apartment through Tracey at the kiteboarding school. It’s was beautiful, and we had wind every day! We traveled with our infant and 3 year old and there were lots of other kids to play with. It’s so handy having the beachfront restaurant at the kite school as well. We would love to go back ! We highly recommend this perfect community for a kite vacation :)
