In Punta Cana to find a good restaurant with good clean food and acceptable prices is not an easy think. If you like mexican this restaurant is must go and taste. A real authentic maxian food. Very delicious and well coocked. Prices are acceptable ( around 15 $ / person). Located in the Punta Cana village just oposite to Four points Hotel. Go and taste and you will not regreat.

This place feels like a Mexico in Punta Cana. The food is very delicious, the customer service very good; It is a good place to go and enjoy with your partner or your family when it comes to enjoying the cuisine of another country. I invite you to make a stop here.

Very friendly staff and attentive. The food is well priced, delicious, and great portions. I had an awesome Club Burrito that has everything a club sandwich has and the Nutella Churro was also amazing!

Taqueria El Burrito in Punta Cana is a great spot for Mexican food in a posh and clean setting. The location is top-notch and the atmosphere is fantastic, but the food itself is average and a bit on the oily and greasy side. Despite that, the portions are generous and the staff are friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience overall. If you're in the area and in the mood for Mexican food, give Taqueria El Burrito a try. 3 stars.

BEWARE if you value your time!!!! My friend and I tried to have lunch here yesterday. We sat down at 1:50 pm and ordered our food by about 1:55 pm. At 2:40 our food had not yet arrived and we needed to be somewhere by 3:15 so we asked that they just box up our food to go. At 2:45 I went up to the counter to pay and to ask why our food STILL hadn’t come out. I was told at that time that they were “starting to prepare it”. I’m fluent in Spanish and asked for clarification. I asked what they meant by “starting to prepare it”… giving benefit of the doubt that they meant starting to package it. But NO… they meant they were starting to cook it!!!! We sat there literally for just shy of an hour and they hadn’t even started to prepare our food!! Wow!!! Just wow!!! Then they had the nerve to actually charge us for the two Coca Colas we drank while we waited AN HOUR to NOT be served our meals. I explained it wasn’t about paying for our Cokes, I was perfectly capable of paying for them (and did)…. But the principle of such terrible service and them not even apologizing or saying not to worry about the cost of two Coca Colas. I paid for our Cokes and will NEVER make the mistake of going there again.

The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. They brought our food one plate at a time and with intervals of about 5 minutes. By the time I got my food everyone else in my party of 8 was done eating, as they couldn't let the food get cold. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

The bill we received included the many taxes due. But this one was calculated on a total they purposely and unfairly increased. Luckily we had some strangers fluent in Spanish who helped us because the staff didn’t want to be cooperative and we got our refund. Money wasn’t even the priority at this point it was all about not getting scammed.

Decent food, great atmosphere, welcoming service. Their churros were excellent. You can sit inside or outside. Nice place to chill and recharge.

Absolutely best shrimp tacos I’ve ever enjoyed anywhere! There was plenty of shrimp, all of the ingredients were in perfect balance and wonderfully flavorful. Also ordered the Tipico (which is served as a burrito) and it was fantastic. The meat was tender, the other ingredients added great flavor, very very rich. The service was very casual, the servers were nice and helpful. The environment was nice and clean, good music that wasn’t overly loud, & a great overall dining experience.

I recently visited Taqueria El Burrito twice and had somewhat of a mixed experience. During my first visit, I ordered the Piñacolada with chicken tacos, and I must say, it was absolutely fantastic. The combination of the refreshing piñacolada drink and the flavorful chicken tacos was a match made in culinary heaven. The tacos were well-seasoned, and the chicken was tender and juicy. I left the restaurant with a satisfied palate and a smile on my face. However, my second visit didn't quite live up to the standards set by my first experience. Unfortunately, they were out of the Piñacolada, which was disappointing since it was a highlight of my previous visit. Instead, I decided to try the mango drink, and I must admit, it wasn't as good as I had hoped. The mango flavor was somewhat artificial, and the drink lacked the same refreshing and well-balanced taste that I had enjoyed with the Piñacolada. On the bright side, I also ordered the nachos during my second visit, and they were simply outstanding. The nachos were piled high with toppings, including cheese, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Each bite was a burst of flavors, and the combination of the crispy tortilla chips and the savory toppings was incredibly satisfying. It was clear that the chef had taken great care in preparing the nachos, and it truly paid off. Overall, my experience at Taqueria El Burrito was a bit of a mixed bag. While the first visit exceeded my expectations with delicious piñacolada and chicken tacos, the second visit fell short due to the absence of the drink I wanted and the underwhelming mango drink. However, the nachos during the second visit were exceptional and demonstrated the culinary skills of the kitchen. I would recommend giving this place a try, but be prepared for some variations in the quality of drinks and dishes.

This is a restaurant in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It's located in a shopping area near a brewery and other stores. There were several groups of "locals" eating and drinking when we walked in, and that's always a good sign. I had an asada burrito, and I believe it was the best food I had during my week in Punta Cana. Food and margaritas were delicious. The service was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. I just wish I had a chance we to return and try a different dish.

It's a very good place to eat Mexican food. The service was ok but not great. The atmosphere is very colorful. The thing that I have to say is do not order churros because they're very hard to eat.

The food was ok but the reason why I am here is to complain about the service we received last night. My family and I love Mexican food and my son was so excited to order some churros. To make the story short. We order some churros for desert and waited more than 30 min. The order never came because they let the churros burn and there was a smoke in the whole restaurant. He had like 3 servers at our table. It was very disorganized how they take orders. The manager was so worry of who did not took care of the churros and she totally forgot about us. If you work in the restaurant business at list be polite to your customers and give them an apology not just handle at bill. To me that was very disrespectful I own a food business and I would never do something like that to my clients!!!! The manager need to get some education of how to treat clients!!!!!

Delicious traditional & gourmet dishes. We ate here 2 nights in a row. The Super Nachos were a feast! The Chilaquiles were insatiable. My wife is a Flan connoisseur and she says this was the all time best! (I'd say the same for the Churros)

This place is slow as hell. Even when there’s nobody in the store they still take a long time. The workers are weird and we caught him cat calling someone. Food is all right. Probably wouldn’t come here again.

Ordered Cajun burrito and they forgot to tell us they didn’t have avocado. It’s Dominican Republic! There are avocados everywhere for $50 Dominican at most. Then made us pay for the lot. Expensive mediocre food. The food took 30 minutes to come. Dios mio!

The churros are the only thing good about this place. Takes way too long for mediocre food. The burrito they gave me was this mucky type of meat and cheese only? I didn’t order a quesadilla. Where are the beans? The bacon burger my kid got, the bacon doesn’t even look cooked. If you order hot sauce they mix two bottles hot sauces together, please just do that in the back let me think that you guys are a little authentic. This is a hard pass for me.

Everything was pretty good and tasty in the beginning. Then waiter spilled sauce on me. After that he just brought the wrong dessert. I had stomachache half of the night. So, I have damaged dress and bad night. Not recommended to visit.

This is a fun place for Mexican in the Village. The food is not really authentic Mexican but it's good for the DR. It gets very busy here so keep that in mind. The drinks are good and the stuffed churros were great!

Excellent food. Outstanding service. Good sized portions. Nothing was less than great. Rarely do I rave so much about a place. But after ten years not disappointing in any way, it has to be said. It’s the best Mexican experience in Punta Cana

Great location. Very close to the resort I was staying at and the airport. The food was great. I’m giving the restaurant 2 stars because after I ate my appetizer and had a drink I was full, so I asked to take my food to go and I ordered some churros. My waiter boxed up my plate and brought me a stapled bag. When I got back to my hotel room all I had was my nachos but no churros. I called the restaurant to ask if they could remove the churros from my bill and they said they could not. Poor customer service.
