Service at the pool was outstanding! We had reservations at the steakhouse 6:30 Saturday night (we were not the only couple) told as we arrived sorry we will not be serving you we have a large party coming we moved your dinner to 8:45! It was a wedding party from another resort! We made our reservations a week before hand! The hotel management is very difficult save your money and spend it with a resort who values you as a customer as well as enjoys seeing you come to stay year after year! The bar staff was great, Rosa our maid she was fantastic! As far as the rest goes I will say goodbye to Iberostar and never look back! I also will not recommend them to any friends, family, or clients! Super disappointed and dissatisfied

The whole establishment was very nice and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There were always so many activities to do and the entertainment team made us feel like family. Everyone was energetic and got us involved in the games and dancing, especially Pokémon. He is a huge asset to the team and really makes everything enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this resort!

Overall this resort is great! Very clean and the food is amazing! El Faro was definitely our favorite restaurant but all of them were great. We paid extra to get the extra perks on staying on the Coral Level side vs the Selection Bavaro. We stayed at Iberostar Jamaica and it was amazing so we didn’t hesitate to book with Iberostar in Punta Cana. All of the resorts are connected and you have the benefit of exploring different restaurants and activities offered at any level with Coral Level (CL). El Faro is only available for CL guests. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth to pay extra to stay on the CL side. We were under the impression that since we were CL guests, we would have priority in booking but that was not the case. Our concierge was useless in booking restaurants for us. Anyone at the front desk can help book it for you. The moment we told him we weren’t interested in listening to the timeshare presentation, he ghosted us and was no where to be found. When we called the front desk asking for him, he was either not at work or somewhere else. Again, this was supposed to be the perk of being on CL that we didn’t receive. Coffee lounge, ice cream bar, kids pool, and entertainment were shared between the Iberostar resorts. Honestly, I would have just booked with Selection Bavaro for less and get 95% of the perks CL guests were getting if I knew that we would not have a clear advantage with booking restaurants. If you are ok with eating at El Faro for breakfast, lunch, and dinner then definitely book Coral Level since this restaurant is only available for them. If you are someone who wants to try other food then save your money and just book Selection Bavaro. This resort is big on going green which we absolutely appreciated! It didn’t take away from the experience but one negative was the amount of guest who smoked at every location including restaurants, pool (including kids pool), and theater. Having a toddler, this was a big turn off for us. They also promoted smoking as they had cigarettes for sale and a cigar bar for the guests. If they had designated areas for smokers this would greatly improve guest experience.

Service is Trash!!! Nobody ever smiles. If you are at any restaurant/buffet do not expect the server to come and ask if you need a drink or a second drink. Do not ever tip a server or a bartender. Never. Spent over $150 in 3 days just for tips, service is still trash. Done with tipping. Food is nothing special below average comparing to Mexican resorts, even dinners at the restaurants. Looks like they service domestic people much better then they service foreigners. Seaweed for the last 3 days, they do not clean it.. nice 2-store buildings, nice pool. I will never come here again. Should go to Mexico 5* resort for the money I spent here

AMAZING PLACE, EXPERIENCE, SERVICE, Great vacations! We went to Coral Level 2 times, with my family of 4 and had a blast. And we hope to keep going many times. Marta, the manager, makes a big difference with her presence and attention to details, making you feel as an important guest. I really love it here. The service is excellent. The staff is wonderful, helpful and friendly. I'm in a wheelchair and using crutches and the staff has been very very helpful making my wife and my stay easy and pleasant. We are here with our family celebrating my birthday and my daughters birthdays. My wife and I always vacation here and we'll continue to do so. I want to give a very special thanks to Jen Jenfry Castillo Santana and Yudelkis for all the hospitality.

Iberostar gives you the best overall experience no question. Amazing customer service from every member of the staff. Always pleasant with a smile and ready to serve your requests. Great food and nightly entertainment. My daughters especially love dancing with their dance buddy Pocomo! We look forward to many future trips here.

I’ve loved the shows here at Iberostar! Everyone has such great energy and makes everyone else happy. The music and the dancing is SO FUN too!! My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and we got to be in one of their evening shows. It was a blast playing games and laughing! They also taught us how to dance salsa and much more. We loved our time here and you will too!!

Hi everyone, My mom and I visited Coral Reef Resort last April for 10 days. The main goal was to relax and enjoy the weather and Coral level was the perfect place to do this. It’s not too crowded and there are many restaurants and swimming pools, which means there was no place where it was too busy (we really appreciate this). Somedays we even had one of the pools all for ourselves! The staff is super friendly, and they really try to make your stay at coral level great. Overall, the hotel was good, but there was one thing that made the vacation even better. The Mexican restaurant! Especially chef Anselmo, he made our vacation perfect. We tried many new things and he introduced us to the real Mexican kitchen, an experience I will never forget! To this day we still eat Mexican food every week at home. So, I would like to thank him again for making our vacation amazing!! And if you stay at Coral Level you have to go to his restaurant! Compared to the others this one was for sure the best. So, if you like a less crowded hotel with good swimming pools, restaurant and lovely beach I think this one might be a great option for you!

Our stay at the hotel was truly amazing! The entertainment team with Pokemon were in charge of all the fun, they organized all the events throughout our stay, beach parties, contests, shows. The food at the buffet was really good with a great variety of food. Very recommended!

We have a lovely stay at the coral level. It is our 5th time and we see the hotel improving with each visit. We like the good food, the quality of the drinks and the entertainment for the kids. A special thanks to Betty for the warm welcome and taking care of our needs - and a special thanks to Ismael at the beach bar for his incredible drinks and at Yudeliks for the best food at the coral level. The workers from the front desk down to the maintenance workers!!! They are all amazing and friendly!! If you don’t speak Spanish, remember to download a translator onto your phone. Most of the people at the resort do not speak English!! Lots of transportation to get you from place to place. But everything is in walking distance. Rooms are well kept. Bed is made daily and new towels everyday. Floors not so much!! A/C was not the greatest!! !!Don’t drink the water!! Even when brushing your teeth! They provide water for you in your room with lots of water/ice stations around!! If you are coming in the summer months. Expect the pool’s temperature to be close to bath water. They are clean, you can drink in the pool and they have daily activities at the main pool. The beaches are beautiful! With plenty of umbrella, huts or small cabanas to sit!! The first few days there was a lot of seaweed in the ocean, which cleared up by our 2nd to last full day being here!! This is not always an issue and can’t be predicted!! The food!! Stay away from the smoke house. If you’re a fan of smoked or barbecue, you will be disappoint. The brisket was dried and shriveled. The pulled pork was dry and flavorless and the chicken not so bad, but the skin was very greasy. My two diner recommendations, which are a must!!! The Greek restaurant and the Japanese restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are Buffet's. Get there early because the heat and humidity in the summertime melts the cheese and a lot of the food tends to sit and is not properly refrigerated for foods that need to be!! They do make omelettes for breakfast, which were good!! They have a BBQ everyday!! Not your backyard BBQ but still good over by the main pool!! They need to cook the hotdogs a little better most of the time it looks like there only cooked on one side.

Big Papi and Michael are the best!!! And Ana is the absolute best. She helps you with everything and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Every resort should have an Ana. Incredibly friendly and helpful. All of the staff are extremely friendly. Check in was easy, food is amazing! Would come back 💯💯 We had an ocean view room. Our room was close to everything! If it wasn’t, just call and they’ll get a golf cart to take you wherever you want to go.

This place is top notch. The food is amazing and the selection is huge. And grade A quality. The rooms are great and and the people are fantastic. I have a shellfish allergy and they wrote me a letter to show to all the chefs so that the can ensure my safety. The chef personally held my plate and put what I wanted on my plate. Big Pappy has taken care of us on the beach and for fun and with his coworker Michael was the zumba class was so much fun. They treated us like gold. I would recommend this place to anyone. I will def be back.

Superb, family stay with wife and 7yr old daughter, pools especially Infiniti in front of the beach wonderful, top level service from check in to check out. Always golf carts ready if you want to transport to Bavaro lobby or main buffet or anywhere but easy walk if you want a stroll, breakfast and lunch in buffet in faro excellent, for staff Mr coca cola especially in coral level such a pleasant young man, a credit to the iberostar family, and beach bar service in faro superb, fantastic trip in a fantastic resort, Iberostar resorts well earned reputation lives up to its expectations

The Animation Team presents an excellent program for all of the clients of all ages. They are energetic, engaging and fun loving. Cuba Libre heads the team with his personality, smile and friendly connections with everyone. He is always working hard to make sure we all have a good time. Pablo is so funny and I enjoyed his water aerobics class. Maria is the best manager of the Entertainment staff. She greets all of us with a smile and accommodates all the guests! Fabulous team!

We absolutely fell in love with this resort. We had a wedding of 50 guests at the Coral level. Santa was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to make our wedding day special and memorable. We were impressed with the attentive and friendly staff! Esperanza, the lady cleaning lady at night was also great! All of our guests loved the resort and were pleased with the services. We definitely recommend 10/10

A wonderful resort especially Coral Rose Gold level. Raquela Santana our housekeeper was outstanding with her services, always a smile. Loulou (beach staff person) was very friendly and energetic. The El Faro area bar/restaurant service and bar excellente. One suggestion would be to have Coral Level liquor/bar service available at the bars in neighboring areas (Dominicana/Punta Cana). So when using the bars at any location the premium liquor is available at no additional costs. Our second visit to this resort here in 11 yrs. Will return.

My wife and I went for vacation first week of July 2023. Cannot say enough about the customer service, super clean grounds, and the beautiful beach. The upgrade to the Coral Level was well worth the few extra dollars as you have a private pool, private restaurant, and a section on the beach. We even had our room upgraded by the concierge due to it being a special occasion. Only thing that would not make this a 5 star is the food isn't great. Although plentiful and edible without question, I would not consider this 5 star food by any means. I would definitely go back again.

Overall we had a good stay but I wouldn’t call this a 5-star hotel. I think they still need to work to address issues with their room, food and service quality. We did find the animation team (Charlie Brown, Lulu and Coca Cola in particular) were excellent, and made our stay very engaging and fun. Also some of the food service folks (Yudelkis, Gustavo, Yira and others) went above and beyond to help. The Coral level was definitely worth it, you have a separate beach, pool and buffet sections.

Every day the entertainment team provide first class services for everyone to enjoy around the poolside. The promise and Charlie Brown do the best pool aerobic class. The bar staff are helpful and make amazing cocktails too. I would love to come back and stay here!

Really wonderful vacation for our family of 11. The Coral level was chef’s kiss, providing our own dining room greeted by the wonderful Yudelkis at breakfast and lunch, a special seating area at the beach, our own bar and two fabulous pools, plus the run of the rest of the resort. The food was great, the rooms were lovely and had nightly turn-down service. Overall highly recommend!

We stayed here from August 27th to September 3rd as the first week of a two-week vacation in Punta Cana. It was about 20% cheaper than our second week at the Finest, and in my opinion, this price difference is justified. The Coral Level is a separate section of the Iberostar Selection Bavaro, featuring around 80 rooms in 20 suite blocks. These rooms are all upgraded in decor compared to the standard hotel. In addition to the upgraded rooms, the Coral Level has two separate pools with bars, two separate restaurants, an exclusive club lounge, and an exclusive section of the beach. This exclusive access was appreciated, especially when comparing to the standard Iberostar Selection, which might have been slightly disappointing without these extra facilities. Several staff members made our trip memorable. Jose Miguel, a waiter at the Coral quiet pool, was incredibly attentive and kept us supplied with drinks. Marleny, the hostess at El Faro, always welcomed us with a smile and chatted with our twins. Akeny at El Faro provided excellent service with a smile, and Ramon, a waiter at El Faro, also offered excellent service. Our "pool access" room was perfect. The rooms are large, on split levels, and very clean. The maid tidied up nicely every day and left nice flower/towel arrangements. We really liked the self-service water machines at each block. It saves a huge amount of plastic, which is always a good thing. The minibar service always replaces two new bottles (1L each) every day. The plantain crisps in the jar by the coffee machine refilled daily were delicious! You also get a Nespresso machine. The TV also has a built-in Chromecast system which was perfect for playing cartoons for our kids from Youtube on our phones. The two pools at the Coral Level are a perfect size for the number of guests staying there. They are both very clean and the infinity pool at the beach is just so nice the way it almost blends into the sand. The quiet pool is also serene, peaceful and a good depth and width for swimming. The only downside is that both of these pools get SO warm, especially in the late afternoon, so there's nowhere to cool off. The cocktails at the Coral Lounge were fantastic, made with high-quality spirits. The wine at the Coral Level was also very good. The drinks at the rest of the resort were good too. Although you didn't get such top-shelf spirits, the wine was good and the drinks were made with care. The breakfast and lunch buffet in El-Faro was fantastic. Not hundreds of options but just what you needed. Everything was fresh and very high quality. The other buffets were very good also, quality a little behind that of El Faro. We visited the Mediterranean twice and it was delicious. The Italian was great, I very much enjoyed the lasagne and my wife had the pasta where they made it fresh at your table, and tumble the spaghetti inside a big wheel of parmesan. We didn't try the Mexican or the hibachi as we couldn't get a reservation. The beach itself was beautiful. The seaweed was always cleaned up daily. The Coral side of the beach was the best with the best slope into the water. The only major downside though was that the sea water itself was brown and it had a funky smell like fermenting seaweed. This meant that it wasn't very pleasant to swim in as you couldn't see the bottom. The pools were amazing, except the temperature of the Coral pools. The main pool at the Iberostar Selection is split into zones, there is a diving zone with an amazing 7ft deep pool, a shallow, beach-like zone which is great for small children getting used to the water, and there is a swim-up bar zone. We didn't catch much of the evening entertainment due to our toddlers' bedtime. The daytime entertainment and the one Dominican-show we saw were very good. Overall, we loved our time here. The resort is beautiful, meets elegance, and the food in general is fantastic. We would definitely book again for the right price. A note of caution: avoid the "VIP breakfast" offered by Ricky at concierge. It's a sales pitch and not worth your time.

We celebrated my grandson 5 birthday he truly enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

This is our second trip to this resort. We visited last time in 2017. The resort is very nice and clean.The pools are really refreshing. The entertainment at the resort is excellent. They always have new games and activities every day and evenings. Our kids really like Pokémon 😊 he always puts a smile on their faces. He was wearing different funny costumes every evening.

Perfect place to get away with the family. Coral level gives you access to all pools and access to golf carts to go around the properties. I counted 6 pools on property. Always something to do.The staff was amazing always helpful and always smiling (behind the masks). Extremely well run! Well done Iberostar. We will be coming back.

Service at the dining area morning, afternoon, and evening is great! The staff is very courteous and attentive. My boy “Michael” so nice and attentive. While at the beach he consistently comes to ask if I need a snack or drink. He brings whatever you need so you don’t have to bother to get up. Also, the quality and ambiance of the Coral level is very tranquil and relaxing compared to the other section, but then again I’m a Star Prestige member so I keep myself to our section. Despite the good experience, the room service is not always so great. My daughter and I felt as everything in the room was very limited compared to the previous years we’ve stayed here. We’ve run out of toilet paper every other day and when we ask for more they keep it at two paper rolls. It seems like we ran out after a day and had to keep asking for more. Also, the bath shower gel ran out and wasn’t refilled after two days. We spoke to the maid and she became more attentive. In terms of being a Star Prestige member the service hasn’t been the same. The girl that works at the office doesn’t notify us of any of the reservations she made for us. She expected us to know and on a nightly basis my daughter had to call to find out where we would go for dinner. Otherwise, it has been an amazing experience, we came to the same resort last year and they’re still following the same protocols with COVID. I feel very safe here. I really recommend this beautiful place.

They let you feel like you are the best ,make things super relax , the room are clean and the 9 restaurant are very good. The beach and the service super. One of the best vacations of my life!! Food is exquisite and the staff are outstanding. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the array of excursions through the clean beach. You will sink into pure relaxation with the incredible amount of palm trees and warm breeze coming off the ocean. The large amount of restaurants was also amazing. The staff will go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed. Beds were comfortable, room was cleaned twice a day. The palapas on the beach were perfect to read a book under, and the spa was amazing. We spent Christmas at the hotel, and the fantastic dinner and decorations made it worth it. Our favorite restaurants was definitely El faro, right on the beach. You will never want to leave. I 1,000% recommend choosing Iberostar Coral Level in Bavaro for your vacation!

Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the decor to the beach to the staff. The food service staff was very attentive to our needs, as was the cleaning and beach staff. The beach was fantastic, with clean clear water and powdery sand. The food options were vast and pretty tasty, and the drinks were great and kept coming! I am definitely coming back.

The resort is beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning crew is fantastic. Came with my kids after a very hard year for some relaxation and that is what we got. The food is also fantastic. Nothing negative to say about this little piece of heaven. Thank you

The hotel was good but had room for improvement. The room keys lock frequently and you need to go to the front desk to unlock them. They don’t tell you that you’re virtually not able to book a restaurant the first night. Finally, the beach isn’t the cleanest. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly, specially Sthefany at the Italian restaurant of the resort. I would visit again but would measure my expectations.

My dad took us here for a trip last week! It was such an amazing experience. The hotel and beach were gorgeous! Decorations and fun themes were amazing! But what made it so extra special was all of the employees that work there! I am in the service industry and let me tell you- Wow! Jhon, Jose(the beach area), everyone at the coral level bar and desk service, our cleaning services, chefs, and just everyone! Please tell them how amazing they are because that is what makes people want to come back again! 🏝🏝🏝

The entertainment team was amazing!! Bellota, Wifi, and banana were so fun and exciting!! We loved the beach party on Sunday Night and the salsa classes in the morning!! We will definitely come back just to have a great time again! The hotel was awesome!!

This resort is so wonderful I don’t know where to begin! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The whole place is clean and well maintained. The food was just fine. I can’t imagine how they could have done any better and please all people all the time but there were always plenty of choice on the buffet and many speciality restaurants. We loved the Japanese restaurant the best. We had a room just steps from the beach and adjacent to the infinity pool. It was so easy to relax and just enjoy. We will be back for sure.

What a great hotel. The staff treated us like royalty, they were so kind to my kids. My two boys really bonded with the entertainment staff at the kids club. The food was good and enough variety that we didn't get bored. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return.

The customer service here is unlike other resorts. The staff immediately become like friends and treat you like family. Jose Arias was an especially helpful and friendly team member. He made sure we always had everything we needed and he did it with a big smile. Jose and the rest of the staff are definitely assets to the Ibserostar company! Thank you for a great trip!

This place is fantastic. The best part is the excellent service from all of the employees to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Especially in the Faro restaurant, which is the best. The food is great and the restaurants a la carte are nice. The beach is beautiful and well preserved. I highly recommend Iberostar Coral Level and I hope to be back soon.

It was a beautiful place i really enjoyed my stay, i loved the environment. It was very fun and entertaining, the workers really get involved and try very hard to communicate as well. Overall the food was amazing and well and the entertainment. 5/5 recommend to anyone❤️

Spent a few days at Iberostar and I wanted to shout out three of the gentlemen that gave us exceptional service. Firstly, from the moment we arrived, Michael greeted us and brought us a yummy lunch to our cabana on the beach. He had such a good energy that we felt this was going to be a great getaway. The next day he greeted us in the morning and we looked forward to seeing him during the morning and lunch hour. He just seemed happy to know we were there and that is a great feeling. At the pool area, we could count on Carlos and Jorge to make us laugh and bring us great drinks. They were also such a fun time. All three of those men went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. I also attended a yoga class and that is a great offering. The entertainers are also incredible all day long. Very much enjoyed our stay:)
