star
is
generous
but
it
is
the
most
I
can
give.
I
would
implore
anyone
to
stay
away
from
this
shop.
Not
only
are
the
staff
unprofessional
and
rude
but
they
will
do
anything
they
can
to
make
things
difficult
for
their
customer
as
they
will
do
anything
to
clutch
onto
money.
My
mother
bought
a
pair
of
shoes
for
my
father
and
upon
getting
home
discovered
they
were
a
size
too
small.
She
then
rang
the
store
and
asked
if
they
had
a
size
up.
The
person
on
the
phone
said
yes
and
they
would
be
kept
for
her.
She
informed
them
that
her
son
(me)
would
be
down
later
to
swap
the
shoes.
Approximately
4
or
5
hours
later
I
walked
down
(in
lashing
rain)
only
to
be
told
they
cannot
find
the
shoes
and
the
owner
tried
his
best
to
pressure
me
into
picking
a
different
pair.
I
repeatedly
declined
as
they
were
not
for
me,
I
explained
multiple
times
that
I
was
not
there
to
bargain
and
I
just
am
here
to
pick
up
the
pair
that
was
agreed
on
the
phone.
The
man
(who
I
can
only
assume
was
the
owner
based
on
his
Johnny
Logan
wanna
be
appearance)
said
I
needed
to
get
the
debit
card
to
get
a
refund.
I
understood
this
having
worked
in
retail
for
years
but
asked
why
could
they
not
have
rang
to
inform
they
didn't
have
the
shoes.
That
way
we
would
be
prepared
to
discuss
other
options
or
know
to
bring
the
debit
card
if
we
wanted
a
refund.
But
it
was
clear
their
sole
intention
was
to
sway
me
into
picking
a
different
pair
so
that
they
could
keep
the
money.
At
this
point
the
owner
started
to
get
really
agitated,
sarcastic
and
make
very
unprofessional
remarks
at
me
such
as
"Aww
how
far
did
you
have
to
walk",
"What
do
you
want
me
to
do?
Give
you
a
refund
without
the
card?"(which
I
never
asked)
and
"How
do
you
expect
me
to
call
your
mam
when
I
don't
have
her
number".
I
can
only
assume
they
would
have
my
mams
number
since
she
rang
them
initially,
unless
they
have
a
phone
that
was
made
in
the
70s.
A
second
worker
at
the
store
was
called
over
to
give
clarification
on
the
manner.
He
explained
he
didn't
call
her
as
he
was
still
looking
for
the
shoes,
had
customers
etc
and
held
his
hands
up
and
took
accountability
without
feeding
me
nonsense
like
the
first
man
(although
never
getting
an
apology).
All
the
while
this
second
worker
was
explaining
to
me
I
constantly
had
the
first
man
interrupting
me
and
but
in
to
which
I
had
to
say
"I
am
not
talking
to
you".
The
arrogance
of
this
man
is
astounding.
Before
leaving
I
said
to
the
second
man
that
I
appreciate
him
holding
his
hands
up
and
his
reason
was
fair
but
informed
the
first
man
that
I
did
not
appreciate
the
way
he
spoke
to
me
and
his
smart
ass
comments.
The
man
grew
agitated
and
asked
me
to
leave
the
shop
and
said
I
was
unwelcome
and
that
someone
else
would
have
to
get
a
refund.
I
guess
being
called
out
on
his
bullshit
hurt
his
very
sensitive
ego.
I
asked
him
one
more
time
(twice
actually
since
he
was
still
talking
over
me)
"Did
I
ask
you
to
give
me
a
refund
without
the
card?"
to
which
he
replied
"No
you
didn't".
I
felt
I
needed
to
bring
him
down
to
earth
as
he
seemed
to
believe
this
thing
that
he
made
up.
I
then
left
the
shop.
After
I
got
home
I
spoke
to
family
and
friends
and
they
too
shared
stories
they
have
heard
of
similar
behaviour
from
this
store.
I
have
seen
other
negative
reviews
on
here
to
which
they
reply
promptly
portraying
themselves
as
a
victim
or
making
excuses
and
not
taking
responsibility.
The
overall
mentality
of
the
store
is
clearly
one
that
arrogance
and
ignorance
is
prevalent.
It
is
also
clear
it
is
a
tight-knit
staff
who
feel
they
can
say
whatever
they
want
to
customers
with
no
actual
retail
training
or
etiquette
in
a
customer
facing
role.
I
will
not
be
responding
to
any
replies
from
the
store
to
this
review
(I'm
sure
they
will
want
to
play
the
victim)
but
I
am
leaving
the
matter
here
and
can
only
reiterate
my
feelings
to
others
which
would
be
to
AVOID
THIS
STORE.
