What an absolute privilege to stay in Collon House. The owners have done a superb job of restoring this property with taste while being sympathetic to the rich history of the house. The gardens are expertly managed and a joy to view. Great location to use as a base to explore Ireland's ancient east.

The most amazing stay, the place is delightful and Michael couldn't be more accommodating. Would recommend to anyone looking for a small, intimate slice of ireland in a beautiful house, large spacious rooms and the best breakfast in town.

Quirky Georgian house and B&B. Michael (member of family who inherited the home owned by his family for generations) runs it with his house keeper. Beautiful bedrooms and furniture with lots of history. (there may be a ghost I was told but I heard and saw nothing. Breakfast was lovely and served on beautiful old China. We spent the night here before my sisters wedding in tankardstown house

My wedding party and I stayed here a few nights before our wedding in 2015 and it was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful house and gardens, wonderful service and food, couldn’t fault it. We were really well taken care of and we would definitely stay again!

Stayed here overnight after attending a wedding in Tankardstown House. Only a short drive away! Absolutely stunning b&b. Gorgeous room and a lovely greeting from the caretaker Michael. Breakfast the morning after was amazing, sitting in a grand dining room in the main house. Cannot recommend this place enough!

An unforgettable place - this B&B is out of this world with the taste and quality, history and grace. If you love antiques, you will not know what to look at. Also beautiful gardens including a lovely gardener, a wonderful and insightful owner with great insider tips. We stayed three nights, Michael served a great meal as recommended by others. Breakfasts were beyond delightful. I may not see a better B&B ever in my life. Location is also good, in the heart of Boyne Valley yet a mere 45 minute drive from the airport.

Amazing 18th century home. We were only there for one night, but it was a memorable experience. How often do you get to sleep in a room fit for an 18th century lord?

Spent just one night at Collon House which was just magical. The house is charming with amazing history and character. It was a joy to sit at the wonderful fire and enjoy great conversation. Michael and John went above and beyond with attention to detail in making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Tea on arrival was much appreciated and electric blankets and hot water bottles placed in our beds was a wonderful and welcome surprise. Collon House is so unique and the warm authentic hospitality was really appreciated. We hope to return next year. Thank you Michael and John. From Maria Bernie Mary and Catherine.
