Excellent hotel! Clean, comfortable. Superb beds and bed linen. Delicious breakfast with fruit, yoghurt and a choice of cooked breakfasts including full Irish (best I have ever eaten). Friendly, attentive and welcoming staff. Wonderful central location opposite St Stephen’s Green park. Highly recommend Staunton’s Hotel Dublin.

The staff was excellent! We enjoyed our stay, especially the opportunity to have wine and cheese in the lovely garden. It would be nice, however, to have complimentary coffee and scones available (free of charge) in the afternoon. This would make the Inn more hospitable. Otherwise, I’d highly recommend this hotel and location! The breakfast was delicious too.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dublin. It's is close to many great restaurants, pubs, and things to do but since it's on the opposite side of the Greens it is VERY quiet and very cozy. Everything about this place is peaceful and comfortable. I can't recommend it enough especially if you're someone who really appreciates a space to decompress and settle into at the end of travel day.

This was our first time staying here and we loved it. A tradition old building that screams Dublin life. Red brick front and glamorous old-school inside. The staff couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. Even though we where on the 3rd level of the building with no elevators that wasn't a problem as the staff took our luggage up for us. The rooms are large, beds extremely comfortable and great bed linens. The location is right on the square with a very short 5min walk right into the center. If your looking for an older Grand Dame style hotel tastefully decorated and easy access to Dublin city center then this is your place.

An excellent hotel sited right in the middle of Dublin , but somehow achieves tranquility! Staff are excellent, rooms are comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great too, everything a little pricey relative to Dublin - but worth the extra on reflection.

The staff were attentive and helpful. The room was okay but either too hot or too cold. Low water pressure and mold in the bathroom but nice clean fluffy towels. The breakfast was 50/50. The French toast was good but my eggs were burnt and inedible. Good location by the park and a quick walk to a lot of interesting places. Overall it seemed like the value wasn't there for the cost.

A bespoke hotel, with garden to the rear, stephens green at the front. Private gate into Iveagh Gardens. Victorian , atmospheric, our room very spacious overlooking garden, plenty of space. Close to shops, theatre, dining. Will be back.

We enjoyed our 5-night stay very much. The location was far enough from the city center but still accessible to most sites of interest within a reasonable walk. The staff was very friendly and the hotel and our room were very clean. However, my recommendation would be to book a room on the back side away from the busy street on St. Stephens Green. In spite of the double windows, you could hear a considerable amount of traffic noise and unfortunately due to the lack of A/C we also had to keep the windows open at night which obviously made the matter worse. We used earplugs and ran the supplied fan in the room to help. Our room could use a little refreshing as the carpeting was showing signs of wear but overall no complaints about the quality of the room itself.

The main things this small hotel has going for it is the central location and beautiful garden. That made up for the service of the front desk staff who completely ignored us unless we spoke to them. Our AC wasn’t working and I had to constantly ask the front desk staff for updates. They only spoke if they were spoken to, never greeted us and were just generally inattentive bordering on uncaring. There was a huge “unless it’s directed at me it’s not my problem” kinda vibe. The dining room staff were wonderful and warm which made up for the less than noteworthy breakfast. I would only stay here again for the same reason I did this time - my first choices were booked. Hotel is decent in a pinch but definitely not a must stay.

Comfortable, great location and clean. As my wife would say, this place is charming. Only downside was that we couldn’t control the temperature and there’s no refrigerator. The room we stayed in was a bit to the small side but didn’t matter as we were out and about most days. The location is great as it’s quiet but near everything. Very nice to have the park across the street. Great water pressure in the shower and bed was comfortable.

One of the best luxury hotel I have never been! Beautiful hotel downtown Dublin, typical Victorian hotel, really well maintained, with good service and nice furniture and a garden! Geographically well positioned close to good Dublin spots...

We had such a great experience at this beautiful small hotel in a quiet location sandwiched between two parks, but close to a range of restaurants, and a 20 minute walk to the centre of Dublin. (Note though the road at the front of hotel is quite busy, so if traffic noise bothers you, choose a room at the back which looks over beautiful gardens.) The service was really outstanding. Every one of the staff was warmly welcoming and constantly on the lookout to help you (without being at all intrusive). Breakfast was generous and delicious. There is a small but well stocked bar, as well as coffee and orange or mint-flavoured water to help yourself to. The public rooms are very pretty and comfortable and there's also a lovely garden to sit in, and a gate leading straight into Iveagh Gardens. An absolute haven.

Really enjoyed staying here. Charming rooms with comfy beds and the location across the street from St Stephens Green was perfect for us. We enjoyed a drink their garden and the breakfast was very good. We stayed there at the beginning of our trip and at the end. The one note I would make is that if you need a roomy bathroom, you would want take that into account when making a reservation. The bathroom in our first room was tiny, but quite roomy in the 2nd room.

My husband and I stayed at Stauntons last week when we were in town for the weekend. I could not have loved our stay more. The property is beautiful with the garden and attention to detail inside. Our room overlooked the darling garden and the owner went as far to track down my favorite champagne from Epernay and had it waiting when we arrived. I hated to leave and will only stay here in the future. Be sure to order afternoon tea in the garden. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The hotel was beautifully decorated and set in a quiet location opposite st Stephens green. but close enough for the city centre. Away from all the loud bars in the centre. The room we had was bit small but it did the job. It was clean. Hairdryer , safe and a fan in the room. Staff were mainly all young people but what a credit to the hotel. They were helpful polite and friendly. Garden was beautiful. Small touches around the hotel ie..apples in bowls. Umbrellas available incase it rained, shoe shine, even rugs and fleece blankets available should anyone wants to sit on hotel grounds.would Definately recommend .

We enjoyed our stay and would not consider any other hotel in Dublin. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast delicious and filling, the room was comfortable and clean. What's not to like?

I cannot recommend Stauntons on the Green enough, it is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed! All of the staff there are so nice, and are willing to do all they can to help you! We stayed for a week on our honeymoon to Dublin and every night was fantastic. I also recommend the afternoon tea, they provide pastries, sandwiches, and tea. They also were very kind when we asked for bottles of wine in the evening, and provided us with glasses and an ice bucket to chill it in. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for us when we left. The breakfast is to die for! My personal favorite was the French toast with fresh berries. If you have any question on where to stay in Dublin, look no further because Stauntons on the green is the place to be!

We stayed in this hotel for a night & were so happy with our experience. The hotel itself is gorgeous and so much more spacious than anticipated. The room was tastefully decorated and super clean (only complaint is that the tiles on the floor of the bathroom were lifting a little but that's v easily rectified). We had some drinks in the lovely little bar in the evening, and breakfast the next morning. The quality of the food was excellent, as was the service provided by the young staff. Will absolutely be keeping this place on the list the next time I need to stay in the city centre!

Great accommodations. Staff are great! My wife and I stayed in a King suite at the Shelbourne on the second leg of our trip and we wish we would have stayed back at Stauntons! This will definitely be our go-to hotel in Dublin.

Stauntons on the Green is a gem of a hotel. In the heart of Dublin city, it is an excellent base for seeing the city. The room was clean and quiet. The outside garden promotes relaxation and tranquility in a city as busy as Dublin. The staff and management were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Stauntons on the Green.

Great short city break staying at this hotel. Room was a little small but as we booked "cosy" this was to be expected - however very comfortable and well finished. Service excellent. Location couldn't be better - close to everything a tourist could want without being too close to the bars and other noises! Would recommend and look forward to staying again.

A lovely place to stay in Dublin, a quite neighborhood but close to everything! Breakfast was delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful, even putting money on our meter at 7 am to avoid a problem. Rooms were nice, spacious and well appointed. Highly recommended!

Elegance, beauty, kindness and convenience. That is Stauntons. The grounds are delightful, with welcome surprises at every turn. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The breakfasts are incredible. And the staff is thoughtful and happy to fulfill your every need. Centrally located by the lovely park of the Green, it’s an easy walk to Grafton Street, shops, restaurants, entertainment, pubs. I highly recommend them.

This hotel is absolutely incredible! The location, the staff service, the rooms, the grounds… all top notch. Location is perfect. Right across fro St. Stephens Green and minutes walking to Grafton Street, Trinity College, and a slew of pubs, restaurants and shopping. The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Very comfy beds and pillows! We had a great view of the park. No AC, but fans are available on request. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Pretty and secluded back patio where you can have a drink or read or have a meal or just sit and enjoy. So well maintained and inviting. It’s a definite place to look into if you’re staying in Dublin.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was incredible friendly and helpful - they shared recommendations on things to do while on our stay and helped book a taxi to the airport. The garden area in the back of the hotel was beautiful and was a nice feature to relax in. Hotel is in a nice part of town that is very walking accessible to many sites in Dublin.

I was very disappointed with the customer service, or lack off. We had booked our honeymoon and due to covid could not travel. When we informed the hotel of this they were very unhelpful.

Perfect location, beautiful room and the team couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious each morning and we were always greeted by a friendly smile at reception. We had a beautiful outside area to our room and the bathroom, bed and seating area were perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend, will definitely be staying at Stauntons again on my next trip to Dublin.

Cosy hotel in downtown Dublin. Very convenient as it is near the main spots to visit in the city. Rooms are quite big, and beds are extremely comfortable. The staff makes you to feel like home. Wonderful breakfast (not included in the price). If we visit Dublin in the future, this is going to be our first choice!

Hotel is comfortable and has a lovely homely feeling. Huge breakfasts. The staff are very kind and accommodating. A small issue arose with our room on the second night and the staff couldn’t have been nicer nor faster in their response to look after my Mom and myself. Will stay here again!
