A cold winters stroll around Brigit’s garden wasn’t disappointing. Our 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed the treasure hunt especially because the resident Mr. Robin was following him around as per Santas orders! There’s so much to see and do for all ages, woodland & wildflower meadows, sun trail, an ancient ring fort, nature trail, thatched roundhouse, crannóg, and the calendar sundial which is quite impressive! We didn’t eat at the cafe but the atmosphere indoors after being out in the cold air was comforting and smelt delicious! The gift shop is well stocked with a variety of gifts and toys for all ages and reasonably priced. Staff were amazing and the toilet facilities were spotless.

I cannot put into words how amazing these gardens are and have so much to offer for all ages. We had our wedding here on 14/10/21 and it was the most magical day. The staff so welcoming and went above and beyond to make the day so special. The food is always delicious, it has to be my favorite lunch spot! Support local by supporting this hidden gem!

Great place to visit. We booked online but you can pay on entrance either. Lovely gift shop and cafe as you enter. The cafe has lots of lovely meals all freshly prepared on site. They were operating outdoor dining when we visited so no need for DCVC. Lots of options to sit outside and plenty of covered tables should the weather turn. The garden itself is excellent with lots of interesting information and well developed exhibits. The sundial itself is worth the entrance fee. You can walk around at your leisure and visit the various areas. We were there for over two hours and had a lovely time. There is a playground for smaller children which has picnic tables should you wish to bring your own food. The toilets are clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. Absolutely excellent day out for families or anyone interested in nature.

Lovely place to walk away from the daily routine. You can bring your kids to spend a beautiful afternoon or for a birthday party.

We had a fantastic time here! It was beautiful and enriched in old Irish/Celtic history. I especially loved the Celtic wheel of the year gardens. I also recommend it for a family outing, our 2.5 year old had the best time on the playground. The staff where so friendly and genuine. Also the food was really nice + the coffee wasn’t bad either. Would definitely recommend.

It's a fantastic place! What a gem. We enjoyed the exploring most of all. So many little things to discover. The lady at the entrance is really good with children too. Unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy a drink and bite but it looked really good.

Delicious food and coffees in a very celtic local atmosphere. Cafe us absolutely wonderful, with a nature feel, and very family friendly. Garden walk is simply superb and both well organised and very nature and history educational. A gem of a place and a must visit!

The Gardens are lovely, quiet close together, we did struggle alil with the wheel chair , disappointed the cafe was closed on a Mon- Tue as we travelled 1 1/2 hr to get there, so a cup of tea was well needed , we personally thought the price was a bit much, Also on the way our we saw another access from the carpark which people we're using without paying.

What a fantastic place! We've recently gotten a puppy so it's challenging to plan days out around him. Brigit's Garden is the most gorgeous place to visit with the whole family and so dog friendly. Free dog treats covered outdoor area for eating, plenty of bins and dog bowls too! The gardens are stunning and the kids (aged 6 and 8) had a fantastic time being detectives and answering questions as we went around. We just stopped here on the way to our campsite but you could happily spend a whole day here.

Went with a great friend and enjoyed some delicious lunch and dessert. Then we walked around the gardens. It was spectacular this time of year. The trees are so beautiful.

The café is wonderful! Everything looks amazing and my choice of a ham hock sandwich with salad & homemade crisps with a cup of soup was delicious. My friend who is coeliac finds it frustrating that there's normally very little she can eat off most menus. In this case over half of what was on offer was suitable. Happy days! She said the bread was the best gluten free bread she'd had. The staff are so lovely and friendly the cleanliness was top class, the surroundings are sublime. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went with my 2 kids 2 +7 on holiday. The staff are lovely and we started with hot chocolate and fresh out the oven scones in the cafe very yummy. The garden itself was beautiful and the design was great. Loved learning about the Celtic Callander and history. It then goes beyond through Medows and woods and my kids loved exploring it all. The wild flowers were just stunning

I love this place! It’s beautiful in all seasons and perfect for quiet contemplation on your own, or bringing the kids for lots of fun in the outdoors. Mine adore coming here and it’s great they can follow the trials easily and safely without me having to hover over them. The playground is brilliant too especially for younger ones. Highly recommend.

Such a wonderful, earthy, peaceful place, I could wander for hours. The cafe was only open for coffee and snacks but was delicious.

This is an amazing place to visit. Not far from Galway city. The food was probably the best the west has. Excellent place to bring kids as well

Can't believe how much this place has changed. So much thought and work gone into this place since my last visit in 2009!! Beautiful warm sunny day made it even more enjoyable. Lots of wildlife and areas of interest as we walked around the gardens. Well worth a visit.

This is an absolute jem of a place. What an experience. There are so many little pockets of wonder, clad with sculptures depicting mother nature and the many faces of Brigit. There's a great little play area with a water feature that emulates a canal system and there are so many interactive pieces dotted along the trail. The food from the cafe is amazing with plenty of Gluten free treats and there is even a gift shop with so many unique trinkets to remember your experience by. So educational, so interactive, so enjoyable, such a great day out.

If you want to spend a beautiful evening with kids and family, then come to Brigit's garden. A small park for kids to play. A garden to explore the spiritual energy of nature. And a very interesting sundial which captured all my attention and awe. Its really interesting to see how the sundials was used to know the time.
