Nice little pub, original and friendly. I didn't like that the first barman gave me a dash of white lemonade in my drink but the next barman would only give me a small bottle of white at a huge price, even though there was a bottle of white lemonade opened on the bar, this was "only for shandy". Don't rip people off.

Nice sized traditional pub with lots of nooks and crannies to enjoy an impressively well-poured Guinness.

Very consistent, even when very busy. One of the best pubs in Dublin (if not the best). It was also my favorite pint of guinness and staff/service. Clients there were also amazing, well dressed, and friendly everytime I visited, which is always a plus.

If there was a sixth star available, I would have selected it!!! Best pints, this side of the Shannon.! Katie and Anthony run a tight shop.. Ben is a legend. This is bucket list stuff.,. Not joking. Great music on Sunday and Monday nights. Great pints of Guinness tout les jour!!! Love it ❤️

A wonderful night for the crew. Service was kind. The place had a very positive vibe and a cozy atmosphere. We managed to talk with some locals who taught us how to drink the Guinness properly. It was crowded, but fortunately, some ladies were kind enough to let us sit at their table before they left. The highlight of my stay in Dublin. I'm not an expert, but I'll recommend this venue to my friends.

Absolute filthy crooks who aim to rob their customers own this place. That is all I can describe the management of this place. We went with a few friends, and decided to go to the beer garden area across the street. We thought the bouncer was being nice when he said for us to go into the main bar to order our drinks, and we thanked him for this idea as he said it would be quicker. Then, when we had our drinks bought and were taking them back to the beer garden, we were not allowed in. The bouncer made sure they made money from us before kicking us out. My friends and I had only arrived too and this was our first drink! We were not causing any hassle- they stereotyped us because we were a group of young people. They should be ashamed; getting all the money they can from us then kicking us out. They didn't have the decency to tell us before we bought the drinks that we weren't allowed in. It was a disgrace. I will never be back, and neither will my friends, and I will definitely share my thoughts about this bar anytime anyone I know is even remotely near it. Crooks.

This is one of my favorite pubs in Dublin. It has typical old school pub décor with a large bar in the middle and lots of snugs and separate seating areas around the bar. Very professional and attentive bar staff. Luckily this pub is not on the tourist map and the crowd are mostly locals and people who come for the great Guinness. One of the finest pints I had on my last few visits to Dublin.

Great atmosphere here ! Just moved nearby and have been for the last few Saturday nights. You really need to be there early to get a seat. Martin is a fantastic bar man, very, very funny too 😄

Lively spot, so busy we couldn’t get a seat. We didn’t mind as we just stopped in for a quick drink before dinner. Pint was very nice, and the service was friendly.

A great, authentic place with live music and the creamiest Guinness. The staff is absolutely fantastic, very friendly. From the moment I arrived, I felt warm (not just because it’s crowded) and safe here. 100% recommend.

A Dublin gem - went in for an afternoon pint. A great traditional Dublin watering hole. Place was very quite with a real professional barman that kept himself busy cleaning shelves between attending to customer's. And a great pint of the black stuff.

Great pints first time i went, craic was on too. Rivaling that of g Other great pubs such as gravediggers. Last night i went in and a woman rushed my pints and turned out full of bubbles. All in the details!!! Fair enough they were busy so i kept 4/5 rather than 3. Lovely pub anyway.

I’ve been frequenting this fine establishment for ten years. Live abroad now but on one of my 4 or 5 visits home a year I always make sure to grab a pint or 5 in here, pulled by real technicians of their craft. Great local fantastic whiskey selection and the best pint of stout you’ll find anywhere.

It’s easy to see why this place is popular. Great atmosphere and the pub and warm, professional and welcoming staff. To top it all off, they make excellent gin and tonic.
