After giving birth to a child the care for woman practically disappears. 7 months after my daughter was born I was still experiencing hip and pelvic pain. I tried turning to an online physio, that was offered through my insurance, for help, but I wasn’t seeing any improvements. So, I decided to reach out for Aoife for help. She was booked up for over a month, but I reached out to her directly and luckily she had a cancellation the next day. Aoife was fantastic! She identified quickly that the cause of my pain was due to lack of stomach muscles, which was causing my hip flexors to go into overdrive. I had been avoiding doing any abdominal workouts, because I thought I had abdominal separation and I didn’t want to make it worse. She sent me home with a few helpful videos for abdominal work-outs and after doing them everyday for almost 4 weeks the pain is almost completely gone. Aoife gave me the confidence to work out my abdominals again, which allowed me to start my healing journey. Everyone should go see Aoife in person after having a baby! She’s super friendly and knowledgable and makes you feel at ease the entire time.

I attended Aoife at 26 weeks pregnant with pelvic girdle pain. I found her to be very friendly and professional. She gave me some really useful, practical advice for pain management but was also realistic about what she could help me to achieve in terms of my recovery. The exercises she recommended were not something I would have considered as part of a treatment plan for the particular type of discomfort I was experiencing, but have proved effective in providing relief. She gave me achievable 'homework' as well as some practical tips to make my day-today life easier. Would highly recommend.

I had a postnatal check up with Aoife and I am so happy I did. Aoife really listens to what you tell her and explains everything in such a clear and comprehensive way. She really is an expert in her field and really understands women's health. Booking an appointment with Aoife is definitely the best thing I've done since having a baby and I'd recommend every woman to do the same.

Aoife is fantastic. I had a post natal check up with her today. Explains everything so well and makes it easily understandable. She also puts you at ease throughout the assessment and examination. I had a couple of niggles other than my pelvic floor and stomach muscles at me since birth which she fully listened to checked out and gave me advice on and exercises for.

Aoife was recommended to me and I went to her with several Menopause issues. I loved her whole approach. She is so thorough, friendly, relatable, professional and knowledgeable. I learned so much and felt so happy leaving her clinic and my only regret is not going to her sooner. I should have went to her years ago. She explains everything with such clarity. I will be telling all my friends to make an appointment with her as it was so helpful.

Friendly, professional, knowledgeable & patient. So glad I found Aoife to help in my post natal recovery. Best money I have ever spent! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her in the future. Great service. She also helped to keep my baby calm and relaxed during the appointment which I was very grateful for! Thank you Aoife

I had my first appointment today with Anne Graham from Women’s Health Physio. I cannot recommend Anne and this practice in general enough. Having had a hysterectomy 6 weeks ago, Anne went through the various stages of recovery that my pelvis would be going through. Her examination skills and knowledge are really amazing. I left feeling so reassured , with knowledge and understanding and most of all confidence that I am on the road to recovery. The attention to my individual needs was just amazing and I felt Anne really listened. I cannot recommend Anne enough. Sinèad

Aoife is absolutely amazing, she just really understands where you are coming from and does her best to put you at ease and alleviate your issue. She goes above and beyond every time and I've never felt so listened to and understood by anyone. If you're suffering quietly with a women's health issue - don't put it off, go see Aoife.

I attended Aoife as I was still having issues with pelvic and lower back pain 14 months after my second baby. I felt like Aoife gave me a lot of time, listened and actually diagnosed diastasis recti I didn't even realise I had. Within 6 weeks of following the exercises she gave me it had nearly completely resolved and any pain I had been experiencing had improved hugely. I would not hesitate to recommend Aoife she is an excellent physiotherapist.

I attended Aoife 5 months after having my baby and she was absolutely brilliant. She has a great ability to explain in a practical and straightforward way, without overloading you with information. Aoife was able to answer all my questions with total ease and made me feel extremely comfortable. She followed up with an email with additional advice and videos which is a great resource for going forward. I would highly recommend Aoife!

Aoife is the specialist any woman needs in her life for the most critical milestones our bodies go through - pregnancy and postpartum. A master of her craft, her expertise goes far beyond covering all things women's health. An absolute must for any new mum or mum to be!

As an active person I have been to a lot of physios, physical therapists, acupuncturists and osteopaths in my time. Aoife is the first one i felt really took the time to listen to me before starting her work and pay attention to what i was saying. Her pre-visit questionnaire was really comprehensive and made me feel like she really was considering all aspects of my history in case they may be related to the issues at hand. I also felt like she really wanted the best for me with realistic suggestions for my rehab and a follow up visit only recommended "if necessary", not suggesting another visit unless i felt the need to follow up. It gave me great confidence that she really wanted me to get better rather than just wanting me to return.

An excellent women's health physiotherapist, Aoife is amazing. She is so passionate about her field, constantly reading the latest studies. I found my treatment with her really helped me post partum and I wish I went to her before I had my babies. She really helped with my pain and helped me to strengthen. I found her treatment and "homework" to be very achievable with three young kids at home. Highly recommend

Attended Aoife for a post natal check up. Aoife is so friendly and knowledgeable and put me at ease straight away. I was extremely happy with how she explained everything in relation to my post natal recovery and as she is a mother herself she also gave some tips on things that had worked for her with her children. I would highly recommend Aoife.
