An absolute gem of a shop. Thoughtfully curated and managed selection of world class board games. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Absolute heaven if you are a board game nerd like me. Good range of travel size and full size games. Lots of logic and card games too. Hidden away near the top of Stephens Green Shopping Center, but you should seek it out. Streets ahead of other large toy and games retailers. They also have an online store which is relatively well organized.

Ordered some board and card games to use over last Christmas - really quick delivery so was delighted.

Staff were so friendly and listened to what I said my toddler was interested in! Great range if toys and puzzles! I have bought from them before online. The shop is on level one, so easy to get to... there are two lifts in the Stephens Green S.C.

This shop is like an awesome playground for big and little nerds. I always enjoy visiting and often think: I wish we had such toys when we were kids: especially the STEM ones are fantastic! They also have toys and games that help develop several other skills, such as literacy - and they are adjusted to different age ranges and skill levels. I always feel like a big happy kid when I visit them. :) And it's an Irish, family-run business. :) Highly recommended! :)

Excellent range of products at reasonable prices, I was so pleased with my purchases and they arrived the next day! Its great to find toys and gifts that have an educational value, and that are still fun. I’m always happy to support an independent Irish business too, would happily recommend them to all!

Just the loveliest Irish family-run games shop for kids (and adults!) The staff are very knowledgable (got great recommendations for age appropriate games for childrens' development), prices are great and delivery is super quick. Shopping instore is a lot of fun and the website recommends games by age which is helpful. Highly recommend.

I ordered some games that were not available anywhere in Dublin but here. They were ready for click and collect the very next day. Allan was EXTREMELY helpful with suggesting other games. He offered a discount for some of the games and even agreed to come down after working hours to hand me over the games since dogs weren't allowed in the mall. Would highly recommend folks to buy from here! Loved the service :)

Absolutely Amazing customer service, called in a panick yesterday ( 4 days before Christmas) and Conor, I'm assuming the owner/manager, couldn't have done more for me. The shop was out of Dominion (boardgame) and he literally got a delivery from the warehouse to the shop for me in under two hours. Called me back twice to keep me updated on proceedings too, which was greatly appreciated. Aidan and the girl working in the shop were lovely to interact with. Both still able to have banter this far into the Christmas season, in a very busy shop, so hats off to them! Want to mention too that there's actually loads in store for adults. Thought it would be a one off visit but I'll definitely be back, Cheers lads!

My son is Autistic and loves all things educational! This place is our favourite. I called today to make sure they had numberblocks in stock, (it’s been impossible to find online) and they did. They went through the hassle of checking for me, even though the staff were at the warehouse when I called. The staff here are always friendly and engaging. Thank you for the service you provide. I’m taking a new toy home to a very happy boy.

I found their pop up store on Christmas Eve and bought a few last minute gifts. It’s a fabulous unique toy store which I would highly recommend. They seem to have an excellent buyer who really knows their stuff as I saw a good number of toys which had been recommended to us by teachers, occupational therapists or pediatricians. I will definitely be a repeat visitor.

Absolutely love Cogs The Brain Shop - we are lucky to have such a great educational toy shop in Dublin. They have a great clever range of products, not just the norm you might see in the bigger toy shop chains. I order from them at least 3 times a year. The staff are very clued in and great at recommending products.

I was looking for toys specifically for sensory deprived/ autistic children. I tried a number of both larger and local stores…Nothing. Finally stumbled across this store in the Stephens Green SC and not only did they have a good selection of these toys, but the staff were also extremely knowledgeable and have put a lot of effort into understanding the needs of children living with these conditions. Staff explained their range of items, for the different types of conditions a child may be living with. Lovely store, great selection of toys for all children - highly recommend!
