We
have
been
customers
of
Aumann's
for
many
years
and
have
purchased
many
plants
and
products.
All
has
been
good
until
recently
when
we
purchased
two
new
full-size
wine
barrels.
My
wife
spoke
to
a
staff
member
on
the
phone
and
asked
if
the
wine
barrels
were
the
same
as
the
photos
on
the
website.
She
was
told
a
brand
new
batch
had
just
arrived
and
that
she
would
"pick
two
new
matching
ones
straight
off
the
truck".
The
payment
was
made
and
the
barrels
were
delivered
the
next
day.
This
is
where
we
have
the
problem
as
the
barrels
that
were
delivered
were
old
and
looked
like
they
had
been
sitting
in
their
yard
for
some
time.
One
had
dirt
and
leaves
stuck
to
the
top
and
the
other
had
a
large
mark
around
the
hole
which
looked
like
a
plate
had
been
pulled
off
as
it
stood
out
due
to
the
timber
that
was
under
the
plate
being
a
golden
colour
and
the
rest
was
old
and
weathered.
We
contacted
Aumann's
via
email
and
advised
of
our
disappointment
at
the
barrels
we
received.
They
were
certainly
not
the
new
ones
we
were
expecting.
They
advised
they
had
two
matching
barrels.
We
were
told
they
had
no
new
ones.
This
was
disappointing
but
they
offered
to
replace
one
of
the
barrels
with
a
newer
one
to
match
the
other
one.
Another
barrel
was
delivered
which
was
newer
but
did
not
match
the
other
barrel
as
it
was
much
bigger.
The
first
barrel
is
much
smaller
and
we
were
told
they
would
be
matching
(as
the
photos
shows
the
difference
in
the
barrels
and
size).
We
sent
another
email
querying
this
on
15
October
and
to
date
have
not
received
the
courtesy
of
a
reply.
Today
we
called
into
Aumann's
and
mentioned
our
concerns
and
explained
what
had
happened
to
a
staff
member
serving
at
the
sales
counter.
She
called
over
to
another
staff
member
Andrew
to
ask
him
if
he
could
assist
us
and
we
were
dumbfounded
when
he
just
raised
his
hands
and
said
not
now
and
kept
walking.
We
were
happy
to
have
waited
until
he
or
someone
could
assist
but
were
just
left
standing
there.
We
understand
that
it
is
busy
but
we
were
happy
to
wait
until
someone
could
assist
us
but
no
one
did
and
after
waiting
we
left
extremely
disappointed
at
the
lack
of
service
or
care.
To
make
things
worse
we
saw
many,
many
new
wine
barrels
in
the
yard
which
were
the
ones
we
thought
we
had
purchased
our
two
from.
We
found
Andrew's
response
to
the
staff
member
was
rude
and
very
unprofessional
and
found
it
to
be
appalling.
It
would
be
appreciated
if
Aumann's
would
replace
the
barrels
they
delivered
with
two
matching
new
ones
-
from
the
new
ones
in
their
yard
(which
is
what
we
were
expecting
and
paid
for).
As
can
be
seen
in
the
photos
they
have
many
new
ones
in
stock.
We
will
be
looking
for
another
garden
supply
nursery
as
Aumann's
have
shown
they
do
not
value
our
business.
