This is quite a large outlet of Petbarn chain off Whitehorse Rd. Parking is easy and accessible through the service road. Conveniently there are watering bowls for thirsty dogs outside. Staff are helpful in providing assistance and advice on different products.

I’d asked a team member to grab me a SMALL play pen from the top of the shelf, and she had grabbed a large size instead. Because we were both in a rush as they were closing the store I hadn’t realised until I got home and opened it up. The team members were polite, just not very welcoming or positive & friendly unfortunately. Also when the worker saw me with a 12kg bag of dog food struggling to hold it on my own, she didn’t offer any help or get me a trolley or something, neither did any of the other workers. Not impressed.

Wonderful customer service from Jarrod, who helped me with a few items for our new puppy, including a crate and playpen. He was so polite and friendly, as well as knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. He also helped me with bringing the items to my car. Thank you so much Jarrod!

Just wanted to share my not so good experience when purchasing a dog product Your staff are not vets and shaming customers for not purchasing a product they are recommending even though I stated several times my vet and other vets have recommended against it and to continue on telling me I don’t care about my dogs health leaving me feeling like **** When you have a veterinarian degree and know the medical history of a dog then you can comment I don’t think people without the appropriate qualifications have any right lecturing customers on what’s best for their dog

Always go there for my birds food good place good customer service and some days they have really good discounts on most of the items

Friendly and helpful person at counter, wish I'd got name, who directed me to cat nip spray and suggested a few things for an anxious cat. Fortunately, this cat is not very anxious, more to get him used to a new place. Having said the above, I wouldnt shop here as prices are very high. If you want a toy or bowl or something similar, go to kmart or budget shop. Like baby products, pet products have a premium. For many people, their pets are their babies.

Very friendly staff. Does not offer grooming services though except for the twin self-service dog baths. Wide range of pet essentials, food, treats and toys for dogs, cats, birds and fish.

Let put it simple, this is a general pet supply store, I bought gold fishes from here, very good price, and healthy compare to some other place I've been, but I've made some queries, somehow the staff said, "not sure, don't know" that saying they only have basic or general knowledge but not expert. I gave 5 stars for the price wise, highly recommend if you know what exactly you after.

Had a great experience today at the shop. Both Erik and the lady that served me ( sorry I don't know her name) went out of their way to answer questions and were LOVELEY with my dog Pluto. They gave him a treat at the end ( after asking my permission and making sure he is not allergic) and carried the heavy food to my car. I will surely shop here again. thanks.

I thoroughly enjoy shopping at Petbarn Nunawading. The staff are always helpful and courteous. They obviously enjoy working there and their interest and love of animals shines through.

Good store, good range, friendly service, but the frequent buyer points program is pretty much useless. I might be able to afford a kettle in about 10 years You're better off shopping at PETstock. They're cheaper and I always get money off from my last purchase.

Good fish and pet store, always very clean. Some dogs look miserable being washed in excellent washing areas. Fish range is ok but higher in price. Lots of dry foods and animal gear. Recommended
