The nurses here are so beautiful. We have had years of immunisations done here. They’re always so gentle and friendly with the kids. The doctors are also great.

My family and I have been going here for almost 20 yrs. We have a regular GP here but he is often booked out for weeks so we’ve had to see a different doctor. Happy with every one we’ve seen, except one. The doctors here are all wonderful as are the reception staff. Keep up the good work Myers St Family.

I visit the Myers Street Family Medical Practice and I have found the staff and Doctors there to ALWAYS be helpful, polite, friendly and most obliging. Doctors Practices are not always the best place to visit because when one does, one is generally there because they are unwell. This, the staff take totally into account, and always have a welcoming smile and a caring comment to make. I commend the entire office for their ability to handle the public very very well.

On first impressions and after just one visit I was very happy. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, doctor was great and I left feeling satisfied that I was genuinely listened to and cared for. I’ll be going back.

A lovely practice with exceptional staff. Reception was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and clear with instructions. Doctor was an absolute pleasure to deal with, able to have a laugh! What a pleasurable experience for a doctors visit on a Sunday!!!

Very pleasant the doctor I seen was very nice well mannered and presented actually listened to me and took the time to assess me and to give me a few a different options of what else I could do. The water and gingerbeer mix definitely helped settle everything. Both the doctor and the receptionist were extremely pleasant friendly and helpful.

Dr. Tine is great. He is very calming and listens to you during the consultation. My only grievance is the medical fee after my recent appointment being a new and random figure that is not the typical amount. I’m usually charged $88.00 for a standard consultation, but this time was charged $92.00? Only 3 weeks after the last appointment I had at this medical centre. The cost is not a concern, but charging more money for a consultation (<10 minutes) without any notification by the receptionist when I booked, checked-in, or left the clinic (and paid), is completely underhanded. Considering that I checked the fee schedule 5 minutes prior to booking my appointment and the standard fee was advertised as $88.00. I’ve been a regular patient for years, but I found this incident to be dishonest and disappointing, contrasted to the typical excellent care I receive from the doctors and staff at the clinic. Please advertise or notify your patients prior to confirming an appointment if the fees have been increased. I would not have been alerted by this experience had the information been transparently available from the beginning.

I was lucky to get a last minute appointment with Christine Akillo and she was lovely. Very friendly and thorough and i was happy with her advice. The reception area was big and clean, the staff was lovely and the doctor was on time. All in all a good experience.

18 months ago we were seriously looking at leaving this Practice but they have certainly lifted their game a lot....from office management to medical care. Our Doctor has always been excellent and the follow up is excellent. They have now taken up Hotdoc and their booking management is really good. I just wish they would use the MyHealth for my records site but they won't.

Dr. Alexandra Webster has given me the feeling of a lifelong GP and has immensely helped me through my neurosurgery recovery. She has shown nothing but care, compassion and understanding that everyone is different in the way that they recover from certain situations. Her care for patients and attetntion to detail shines through as she remembers even the little things from previous sessions without reading notes. Alex has a long and successful career ahead of her, and the comfort and confidence of her personality has led me to open up with my true mental health problems pre and post chronic back pain and every time I leave an appointment she leaves me feeling ten fold better than when I come in whether it be a simple script fill or a mental health plan. She has the potential to be great and is greatly appreciated for drastically causing a change in my path of life for the better and I am forever in debt to her for the compassion and care that she has shown towards both myself (patient) and my fiancé whom regularly attends my sessions to keep her informed and to also build a relationship of trust between doctor and patient. I have absolutely nothing but praise for Alex and the way she goes about her job making her clients feel like close friends that get the care of a lifelong GP. Dr was very validating, caring and gentle in her approach when i presented with mental health concerns. She listened and actioned accordingly and thoroughly, which is something that isn't all too common in my experience with GP,swhen presenting with mental illness

Late Saturday afternoon I needed to see a doctor, all medical centres on the Surf Coast and Geelong were closed except for Myers Street Medical Centre. They saw me straight away and the doctor determined very quickly what was wrong with me. All staff I met there were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this medical centre if you require medical assistance.

Saw Dr Ham late on a Sunday night. Was a bit of a wait but was thorough and very patient. Bulk billed for our son even though we were there for around an hour (in nurses area). Nurse was amazing also. So thankful for their care and consideration.

As a new resident of Geelong I had to find a new Dr. I am very happy with this practice.. friendly staff. The Dr was lovely and the location is convenient with a pharmacy right next door.

We arrived early for my husband's appointment and were greeted by a very friendly and efficient Receptionist. We were attended to just before our appointment time. We found Doctor Rosie to be warm, friendly, understanding, and thorough. We have not long moved into the Geelong area and have found the medical professionals in this regional area to be excellent.

What a treat it was to ring a medical centre and be able to get an appointment! Staff super friendly and very minimal wait time, being from another state and needing Dr was so nice to get one within a day of calling. Thank you so much - highly recommend this medical centre :)

Short wait time which was great as I was unwell. Dr Sossin greeted me and listened to my concerns. He was thorough in his examination and addressed my fears as well. Great service as always and it’s the only medical practice I want to go to. Thank you Myers St Medical Centre.

My doctor is Dr. Sangesh Chaudhary and she is absolutely wonderful. I have seen her for around 9 years now and she is very thorough, understanding, empathetic and I always feel heard and well cared for. She runs on time or very close to it so i find that i am rarely left waiting for long at all. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful.

The doctor I saw was unfortunately quite dismissive of my symptoms. I have also had fantastic high quality doctors here so it's a mixed bag. The reception staff are all lovely and really helpful. Choose your doctor carefully I would say.

Excellent physiotherapist. Very gentle and explained everything I needed to know and do. Highly recommend George Atkins for specialist care. Reception area totally professional too.

Great place to see a quality GP or Physio or the like. Staff are friendly and helpful and the setting is nice too (the indoor plants are always looking healthy). Make sure you see George if you're looking for a great Physio.

I was very impressed with this surgery,as a visitor they were kind enough to walk me through the initial form booking and personal details. The doctor was very thorough in going through my paperwork and asked a lot of questions to get a good background of my health issues. Arrived 10 mins early, and seen early (never had this happen in my life at any doc!) Doc was super friendly, cheerful and looked like he actually liked his job. Receptionist on phone to book was friendly and same for Receptionist on duty upon arrival. Waiting room area clean and tidy. While these guys are not my regular clinic, they were very accomodating as a new patient needing an appointment on a weekend. Thank you

Had a work medical booked here. Very good. Nurse was excellent. Fast friendly and efficient. Dr Idris similarly excellent. I was seen on time and left earlier than expected. No waiting around as is often the case at other medical centres.

As a NZCitizen I needed to get a new script for myself. My experience with the Reception staff and Dr was amazing. My appointment time was kept to,the staff couldn't have made it any easier for me. If only our NZ system was this good!!Thank you.

I am a long term and regular patient at a GP practice, which is not open Saturday morning. I woke this morning (Saturday) and tested positive to Covid. Upon phoning the Myers Street Family Medical Practice I explained my situation. The response was sympathetic and ultra helpful. I had a telephone consult with a GP within the hour and obtained an anti-viral script. Superb service!

Have used Myer St Family Medical Practise for as long as it has existed. Always friendly doctors and usually get to see you doctor same day or next. Would totally recommend them for all your health needs. They even have there own dpartment for blood tests.5 stars given for there excellent service to me over many years.

My usual Doctor was closed for the Xmas break & needing a Dr’s app, I booked with Dr Lucy Ham. I was so impressed with Dr Ham’s professionalism & very thorough expertise. The staff are friendly and helpful. The practice is easily accessible even with my disability. My doctor is excellent. She is supportive and proactive in helping me with my chronic health problems.
